Meet Sable! Adoption Fee $225 Please copy and paste the following URL for the adoption application: https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Sable is the last kitten in this litter. He's ready to go to his forever homes. This group is in a loving foster home and getting along well with all the resident cats. We prefer to adopt kittens in pairs unless there is another young friendly cat in the home for the new kitten to play with. Having a feline friend can be incredibly beneficial for their social and emotional well-being, providing comfort and support throughout their lives. There is a discount when adopting more than one pet. All pets are microchipped, and the registration fee paid for lifetime. Please copy and paste the following URL for the adoption application: https://forms.gle/NCYmet7DbsGM6zr36 Paws of Dixie Animal Rescue adopts in the New England area. Our adoption fee includes the spay/neuter, up to date shots, Microchip, Alabama Health Certificate, and the transport service to get the new pet to you. The pets are delivered by a licensed transporter. PDAR.info@gmail.com COMPLETED APPLICATIONS TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER INQUIRIES. If you are interested in adopting, the FIRST step is to complete an application. Please be advised that our volunteers are busy rescuing, transporting, and caring for our animals. We will respond to your application as soon as possible. Upon review of your application, the rescue in AL will contact you, so you can ask any specific questions that you may have. NOTE: All Paws of Dixie animals are located in AL foster homes. They will be transported north after adoption. If there is more than one decision maker in the home, all of them should be in agreement. We DO NOT adopt to anyone under the age of 21. Thank you for your understanding.

Story
Leo is about 3 years old, we adopted him in August of 2022 from Potter League when he was about 3 months old. He's been an indoor cat only. Leo currently lives with another cat and dog, he'd much rather be in a home as an only pet. Leo is very calm, friendly and playful. He'd be a great addition to anyone looking for a companion.

Story
Joe Kitty Local is in Rhode Island and looking for his furever home! Seven year old orange tabby Joe is looking for a forever family that will shower him with all of the love he deserves. He is a very sweet, affectionate boy who is a little cautious at first but warms up quickly. We think that he would do well in a home with a calm, respectful pup who respects his boundaries. He would also do well with some kitty siblings! Joe will quickly snuggle his way into your heart! All kittens are spayed/neutered, microchipped and up to date on all age appropriate vetting. The adoption donation for our kittens is $250 which is fully refundable should the kitten not be the right fit for you within the first week of adoption. We do not have a cat application form set up, so please fill out our current general application and note the cat/kitten's name in the "interested in" column so we know who you are applying for. Please note, many of these application questions will not pertain to a cat. We are currently trying to revamp our website to accommodate for cats/kittens. Thank you for understanding! www.rhodehomerescue.org/adoption-form/

Story
Meet Meela – A Loving Cat Looking for a New Home 🐾 Meela is a sweet and gentle 8 - 11 years old cat who loves quiet cuddles and sunny windowsills. She’s spayed, vaccinated, and fully litter trained. I’m heartbroken to rehome her due to personal circumstances, but I want her to have the happy life she deserves. She’s best in a calm home (with no other pets). I would love to see her with a family or single person who is mainly at at home. She's very loving and requires a lot of attention. If you're looking for a loyal companion, Meela might be the perfect match. Please message me if you're interested or know someone who is. A small rehoming fee and vet reference may be requested to ensure she goes to a loving home.

Story
Peaches or "Peachy" - 6 years old Personality: Peaches is a sweet and loving indoor kitty. She loves treats, being around her family, and will often follow you wherever you go in the house. Behavior: She enjoys her independence, but will accept petting and cuddles on her terms. If you are relaxing on the couch, Peaches will often want to lay on your belly for cuddles and purring! She would do best in a quiet home. She does not do well with lots of poking and prodding, so a home with older children, or just adults, would suit her best. Peaches currently lives with a dog and they get along well. Health: Peaches is overall healthy and a very low maintenance cat. She has experienced some mild healthy issues including occasional coughing, but all of her blood work has come back normal. *We can no longer keep her due to an upcoming move within the next year. Peaches will make a wonderful companion and is looking forward to meeting her new family!
