Meet Kit Kat This beautiful orange tabby came to us after he was found lost and alone. Our volunteers and staff have been working extra hard with Kit Kat to help him overcome his shyness, and he has come out of his shell! We estimated his birthday as September 12, 2022, and he has been with us over a year! Kit Kat started out as a loveable furball, but life in the shelter has not agreed with him. He can often be seen up high, observing his friends at play. Or you might find him curled up with one of his buddies. We strongly believe that in a quiet home of his own, he will find his confidence again and you would be so rewarded! We found Angus as a small kitten in the woods near our office in 2016. We attempted to keep him as an indoor cat but it became evident that he was not living his best life in that condition. We slowly introduced him to the outdoors using a leash and harness. Then we would let him roam around our fenced in back yard. It was not long after that when he learned he could climb the fence and explore the forest. He learned to hunt right a way and is rather fearless. He would make a great barn cat. Unfortunately, we are moving and will be living in apartments and are unable to take him with us. He likes to spend almost every day outside. Even when it rains he likes sitting on the front porch and watching it rain. He comes in for dinner (kibble and canned food) and spends the night in out basement.

Adopted in 2021. Zuri is very loving and playful. Mei is quieter but loves to cuddle when she is ready. These sisters love each other and should be adopted together.

We inherited Bubba after my grandmother passed. He has the most personality of any cat I’ve ever interacted with. He’s not the type of cat that stays under the bed all day or disappears when guests come over. He likes to roll over on his back for a belly rub and loves attention. He is very sweet and friendly. He has never been malicious or taken swipes. He is gentle and also very fun to play with. In the evenings he gets the zoomies and sprints around the house. Quite entertaining. He needs a lot of love and attention. I think the perfect home for Bubba is one without any other cats, he does not get along with other cats and where the owners are home frequently.

I got her not too long ago, a friend couldnt hold on to her because of parents so I took her in. I realized I had a bad allergy and it sucks but I tried to find other friends but couldnt so looking to rehome her now. She is about 15 right now. She is very playful, loves to sleep with you, loves wet food more than dry food and not that talkative unless she wants something. Hopefully a loving owner can adopt and give her love she deserves.
