Story
Rumpy is a foster kitty our son was taking care of for his friend stationed in Japan, but his friend is no longer able to take her back. He took her in as a stray kitten. He had her for around a year and my son has had her for about a year and a half. She’s very sweet and will lay in your lap and rub her face against you and purr. You can see her coming in for some pets in some of the pics we posted. She’s a very sweet and loving girl. And she has the best purr! Can send video upon request. Couldn’t get it to load here. Our son is moving to FL and his apartment allows only one small animal. He has a kitty named Tiger who is 6 that he’s had since she was a kitten, and she is going with him. I am helping him since he travels for work and is moving in a couple weeks. Just want her to go to a good and loving home.

Story
Barry’s original owner lost his housing and wasn’t able to care for him. We’ve taken Barry in but unfortunately one of our cats is a jerk and it’s stressing everyone out. Barry is sweet, loving and quiet. He is timid at first but then becomes your best friend. He is neutered (he was adopted from Humane Society of Missouri last year) and was current on his shots but I do not have any paperwork or any more information. He’s a large, sleek tabby with a MaineCoon tail. He is gorgeous with the softest fur. All that stature but has the tiniest little meow. He is an adult - guessing around 3 years old. He does great with other cats (or he’d be great on his own) but we’ve never had him around dogs. He has been indoor only with us. He is a low maintenance dude - no food drama (he eats wet and dry) and uses a litter robot and an auto feeder with no problem.

Story
Hi, my name is Freckles and I'm about 4 1/2 years old.  I was a stray and rescued by a BCHS volunteer, and brought to Bond County Humane Society to find a loving permanent home. I am playful and like to chase bouncy balls. I like to get to know you before I want to be petted.  Of course, this is all on my terms.  I determine when and how long you can pet me.  I love to explore and look in all the nooks and crannies around the shelter. I am considered Special Needs for a couple reasons.  First, I tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).  FIV is comparable to AIDS in people. It is transmitted to other cats by scratching or biting. There is not a vaccine available to provide immunity to other cats so I need to be the only cat in the household or live with other FIV positive cats. I can have a normal life expectancy of a cat. The most important things for me are a low stress environment, good quality food and regular veterinarian care.  Second, I was also diagnosed with IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) which requires me to have a special diet.  It is extremely important for me to stay healthy.  I get along well with the other cats who have been in the FIV room at the shelter.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee has been waived.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request. Story
Hi, my name is Phoenix   and I'm about 20 weeks old.  My siblings and I were born to a stray mom and surrendered to Bond County Humane Society so we can find loving furever homes. We lived in a foster home for a few weeks. My foster dad says I like being with people and I will follow you around. He thinks I am cute as pie. I always like to play! I am a very curious kitty!  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $160. If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request. Story
Hi, my name is Moxie and I'm about 19 weeks old.  I was found stray with my litter mates after we were abandoned by our mother cat. We were brought to Bond County Humane Society so we can find loving furever homes. I have beautiful dilute tortie fur. I always want to play with the other kittens. I like to be picked up and snuggled. My favorite toy is a little spring.   I am available for immediate adoption. I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $160.
