Precious friendly baby—one of three. Not 100 percent sure of sex of kitten. Has two little brothers or sisters—all adorable. Was born in our garage—mother is ferel but babies have been socialized and are super friendly and loving.

Barry’s original owner lost his housing and wasn’t able to care for him. We’ve taken Barry in but unfortunately one of our cats is a jerk and it’s stressing everyone out. Barry is sweet, loving and quiet. He is timid at first but then becomes your best friend. He is neutered (he was adopted from Humane Society of Missouri last year) and was current on his shots but I do not have any paperwork or any more information. He’s a large, sleek tabby with a MaineCoon tail. He is gorgeous with the softest fur. All that stature but has the tiniest little meow. He is an adult - guessing around 3 years old. He does great with other cats (or he’d be great on his own) but we’ve never had him around dogs. He has been indoor only with us. He is a low maintenance dude - no food drama (he eats wet and dry) and uses a litter robot and an auto feeder with no problem.

This is Arwen. She was dumped near my house when she was going through her first heat. She ran straight inside whenever the door was opened, and has had no desires to leave since. -She is about 10 months old -spayed -rabies vaccine -microchip -house trained. Arwen loves to play with any toy she can get her paws on, as well as cuddling on the couch for hours on end. She much prefers the indoor life to being outside. She is great with people, and is 50/50 with other cats. I have two cats already, and she gets along with one, but not the other. I do not have the space, and three cats in the house have proven to be too much for my partner's allergies. Let me know if you're interested in this sweet kitty.

We're looking for a loving forever home for our sweet cat, Kit. We took her in about two years ago to temporarily foster her for a family friend who was moving, but after they relocated, we were unable to contact them again. Unfortunately, due to strict property management policies, we can no longer keep her. Kit is an incredibly kind, gentle, and affectionate cat. She loves people, does wonderful with children (even babies), and has never shown aggression. She can be shy around other animals and may hide at first, but she's always calm and sweet. She's also very clean and simply prefers a well-maintained litter box. In two years, she's only had two accidents, both during weeks when we were working long hours and couldn't keep up with cleaning it as usual. Our son is heartbroken to say goodbye, and we hope to find Kit a loving family where she'll be cherished as much as she has been with us.

He is 3 years old. We got him from a friend 3 years ago. He’s very loving and enjoys affection on his own terms. He’s independent and likes spending time outdoors but comes home to eat and sleep. He’s neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. He would do best in a quieter home and may prefer not to live with very playful young cats

Hi, my name is Freckles and I'm about 4 1/2 years old.  I was a stray and rescued by a BCHS volunteer, and brought to Bond County Humane Society to find a loving permanent home. I am playful and like to chase bouncy balls. I like to get to know you before I want to be petted.  Of course, this is all on my terms.  I determine when and how long you can pet me.  I love to explore and look in all the nooks and crannies around the shelter. I am considered Special Needs for a couple reasons.  First, I tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).  FIV is comparable to AIDS in people. It is transmitted to other cats by scratching or biting. There is not a vaccine available to provide immunity to other cats so I need to be the only cat in the household or live with other FIV positive cats. I can have a normal life expectancy of a cat.
