Story
This is Ollie!!! He is a shorthair grey tabby just like his father. Extremely playful, social, and always hungry! He will need to be vaccinated at 10-12 weeks, and neutered at 6 months old! I am NOT a breeder, I have a couple of stray cats that live outside our house that we have taken care of over the last year. One of them trusted us enough to give birth in our garage so we’ve been helping her take care of the kittens. We brought them inside at almost 6 weeks old to avoid them wandering into the roads and getting hit by cars, etc as we live close to the road. we were able to find homes for his two sisters and his brother, but we haven’t had any luck finding a home for this little man. Please consider welcoming him into your family!!

Story
Barry’s original owner lost his housing and wasn’t able to care for him. We’ve taken Barry in but unfortunately one of our cats is a jerk and it’s stressing everyone out. Barry is sweet, loving and quiet. He is timid at first but then becomes your best friend. He is neutered (he was adopted from Humane Society of Missouri last year) and was current on his shots but I do not have any paperwork or any more information. He’s a large, sleek tabby with a MaineCoon tail. He is gorgeous with the softest fur. All that stature but has the tiniest little meow. He is an adult - guessing around 3 years old. He does great with other cats (or he’d be great on his own) but we’ve never had him around dogs. He has been indoor only with us. He is a low maintenance dude - no food drama (he eats wet and dry) and uses a litter robot and an auto feeder with no problem.

Story
My cat is 1 year old. Her name is RJ. It is house trained but unfortunately,it does not have shots or it is not spayed because we don’t have the money for it and that we want to give her a good home so it can have all its needs meet. She is very friendly and loves people.

Story
My neighbor passed away and left a pregnant momma cat, the momma died so I brought them inside to tame them and house break them, I had a heart attack, and I just can't keep up with their needs now, I never named them, they are loveable and seem to get along with people and other cats. I would be willing to spay and neuter them free.

Story
Hi, my name is Freckles and I'm about 4 1/2 years old.  I was a stray and rescued by a BCHS volunteer, and brought to Bond County Humane Society to find a loving permanent home. I am playful and like to chase bouncy balls. I like to get to know you before I want to be petted.  Of course, this is all on my terms.  I determine when and how long you can pet me.  I love to explore and look in all the nooks and crannies around the shelter. I am considered Special Needs for a couple reasons.  First, I tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus).  FIV is comparable to AIDS in people. It is transmitted to other cats by scratching or biting. There is not a vaccine available to provide immunity to other cats so I need to be the only cat in the household or live with other FIV positive cats. I can have a normal life expectancy of a cat. The most important things for me are a low stress environment, good quality food and regular veterinarian care.  Second, I was also diagnosed with IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) which requires me to have a special diet.  It is extremely important for me to stay healthy.  I get along well with the other cats who have been in the FIV room at the shelter.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee has been waived.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request. Story
Hi, my name is Whiskers and I'm about 8 1/2 months old. I was found as a stray and surrendered to Bond County Humane Society so I can find a new loving home. My white and grey fur is very handsome. I get along well with the other cats in my room and enjoy a little wrestling match too. I am a little shy, but soon I will come to you to be picked up and petted. I like to play with little spring cat toys! If you pick me up and pet me, you may notice a bone which seems to be sticking out at the bottom of my ribs. It is part of the xiphoid process of the sternum which is broken. I have been examined by a veterinarian and x-rayed. It was determined that the fragment is not threatening internal organs or causing any pain and doesn't need any treatment. I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $100.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.June 22, 2026, 6:19 pm

Story
Hi, my name is Frida  and I'm about 5 months old.  My siblings and I were born at a lady's house, but she had too many cats to keep us. We were surrendered to Bond County Humane Society so we can find loving furever homes. I am a beautiful black, white, and tan tabby kitten. I am ready to play with any toy you have! I love to play with my siblings and the other kittens. I am a little shy at first, but then I will come out to be picked up and snuggled, and I will purr for you. Currently I am living in a foster home to get some new experiences. I am available for immediate adoption. I am spayed, UTD on vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $150. If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at  www.bondcohumane.org .  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.
