Story
Rocco was adopted as a kitten during kitten season from a local no-kill shelter. He is a bit particular and can come off as shy but once he’s fed and knows he’s in good company, he loves to be in your presence. He’s not super affectionate but doesn’t want it be known that he doesn’t like being alone (very much a - let me sit next to you but you don’t have to pet me - kind of cat). He is currently 5 years old and will be coming from a home that had another cat, and a baby. He took awhile to warm up to the other cat but eventually tolerated his presence. His feelings towards the baby are still unknown but he never showed aggression. Rocco loves food and it’s what wins his heart. He doesn’t require a lot of energy and enjoys his independence.

Story
Miel is a young female grey tabby about 1-2 years old as far as we can tell. She came to us after her and her young kitten at the time could not be taken care of her previous owner. Unfortunately, with 3 cats of our own and another foster cat we cannot keep her in our house. She is a very loving cat who does good with our other cats. She is a very quiet cat who does like to meow a lot but does love snuggles, especially when all the other cats join. We are looking for a loving person or family who will give Miel her forever home.

Story
Toby is rescue cat from San Diego. He is a very intelligent, active and social cat. He is great with my grandchildren. I am having major shoulder surgery and can’t risk Toby jumping on my arm during my long recovery. So I sadly need to find a home aaap.

Story
Lee (Lisa) is a sweet, approximately two-year-old girl with a playful spirit and a loving heart. While she needs a moment to get to know you, once she feels safe and settled, her playful side starts to shine. She enjoys napping, chasing after wand toys, head scritches, playing with her daughter, and lounging in the window, keeping an eye on the neighbors and observing the wildlife. Lee is a gorgeous brown and tan tabby with bold black stripes, a precious white chin, and an adorable patch of black fur on the top of her head. It just happens to be the perfect place to give her a kiss. Lee would do well in a calm home where she can take her time to relax and get comfortable. She would be fine in a home with someone who is away at work during the day. She also wouldn’t mind sharing her space with another cat who gives her room to acclimate. Lee shares a special bond with her daughter, Leanna, and they are looking for a home together. They play together, nap together, and help each other navigate the world. Their relationship is truly something special, and they would love to continue their journey side by side. Lee and Leanna are looking for a calm, loving home that will give them time to settle in and continue growing together. Their future family will be rewarded with two devoted companions who have already learned how wonderful it is to be part of a family. All cats & kittens are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and tested FeLV/FIV negative. All kittens are living in foster homes in DuPage County and arrangements will be made to meet them after a brief application is reviewed. Adoption fee is a $85 per cat donation to Feral Fixers. Discounted adoption fee if two cats are adopted together, $150 for a pair. A contract will be required at the time of adoption. If you are interested in meeting and adopting one of our cats, please fill out the ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE at: https://www.feralfixers.org/cf-adoption-questionnaire or email: gotfriendlies@gmail.com. We consider adopters within a reasonable driving distance of Lombard, IL.

Story
Figaro or `Figgy` as he`s affectionately called is such a sweet and good boy. Figgy is part of a pairs only adoption, along with his very closely bonded brother Burley. Fig likes to play and cuddle and be pet by his people. He also lovvvvves to snuggle and nap with his other half Burley. They compliment each other so nicely and are such wonderful fellas. They have purrrrfect litter box manners, adapt to new surroundings quite easily, and would be a joy in any household looking for a lovely pair. Not sure how they would be with other cats or dogs.

Story
This boy is SCRUMPtious! He is a very loving sweet boy. He loves to come sit in your lap and rub allllllll over you. Please, scratch under his chin and behind his ears :) Since he started his life born outside before he was rescued, at first he may hide and needs to figure out you are his friend to come out from hiding, but if you pet him wherever he is hiding and talk sweetly to him, he usually will then come out right away. He then enjoys being cradled in your arms like a baby and getting as much lap time as he can. Scrump likes all other cats and kitten; this boy doesn`t have a mean bone in his body. He`s not overly invasive and can take cues from other cats who may not be keen on wanting to be friends with him, so he knows well how to behave around other cats dependent on their purrrrrsonality. He`s just a chill guy. One of his fave pals is his younger sister Callisto. They cuddle together and just like to be near each other. So if considering a pair, these two would make wonderful bookends in your home! He will also do well in any home with a kitty in need of a cat companion. If he is adopted to be an only pet, he would do fine alone provided his human/s shower him with lots of love and attention and plenty of lap time.

Story
TJ is a very sweet boy but starts out a very shy. He loves to cuddle with his people and also play. Older kids who will play with him would make him happy, but he will need to acclimate to them. He will benefit from a quieter and lower energy home. Fast movement and noises do spook him. He’s not been introduced to other cats or canines since he is in a foster home with no others. With his timid nature it is likely he will be scared of dogs.
