Story
Hello ! This is Toasty, a very affectionate almost 2 year old brown Tabby cat who would do anything to get lap time with you! He's a very playful and energetic cat who loves cuddling, snuggling and ESPECIALLY playing! His favorite toys are crinkle ones and pretty much any string toy he can chase around. He loves sitting on a windowsill and looking outside and people watching more than anything and will also nudge your shoulder or vocally tell you he wants play time. I'm in desperate need to rehome him as unfortunately as I do not have the time or energy to keep up with the playtime and affection he needs as I am a caretaker for both my elderly father and my younger sister. Due to my fathers declining health i'm in more need to rehome him ASAP, as I can not provide for him. Please message for further inquiries but I am extremely flexible.

Story
Zeus was found outdoors by a friend of mine that wasn't able to keep him so I took him in. Sadly from his vet visits they're assumption is that he was a house cat that became an outdoor cat. Zeus can very playful and a very independent companion. He's also perfectly happy to be laying down snuggled up with you in his eyesight. He's also a fan of toys and playtime and can become very active. He is a HUGE fan of the floor mat scratching pads. With the right set up Zeus can become a fun and loyal companion.

Story
Our poor 2 year old female, Honey has been through a lot. We rescued her from a house with 30-40 cats of all different ages fending for themselves, with 2 litter boxes and only a few bowls of water and food. We found her as this calm little baby, but we knew her calm was because she was giving up. We brought her immediately to our vet and nursed her back to full health. She was separated from our 2 male cats for the month, because of ear mites and other problems that we’d addressed with vet. After that month the three cats mended and bonded so well, and she was the missing link to our family we didn’t know we needed. Then our son was born, and the trauma of her past came back, as we introduced an unpredictable small human (she’d never met kids) into the home. At first, she seemed well. After 6 months, we realize his presence brought out her past. Skittish, hides for days, won’t come out to eat. Will pee where she’s hiding, from fear of coming out. We’ve tried everything, help :( <\3

Story
Lotsa Meows has lotsa love to share! He’s a handsome 4 month old brown tabby boy with a unique mix of swirls and stripes, and a stunningly handsome face. He is friendly and loves to play and make new friends. He runs to see his foster parents when they come home from work, and likes to enjoy the company of the household. He is 100% pure joy, and will love and adore you every minute of the day. When it’s time to sleep, Lotsa likes to snuggle up with his foster mom and snore (yes, he snores!) softly and peacefully. Lotsa enjoys a good meal and is not picky about food. He likes to chase little mouse toys and bat at the string on a wand toy. Lotsa also loves his little sister, Lollie, and together they chase and wrestle, and then settle in for a nap. They have a favorite napping spot on a blue chair, and he is a good big brother who sleeps on the outside, protecting her while she snoozes. She hides behind him when they have visited the vet, and he takes good care of his little sister. They would like to find a home together! They both enjoyed making friends with the resident cats in their foster home, and were loving, playful and affectionate from the beginning. They both learned how to use the One Fast Cat Wheel, and the Litter Robot in their foster home. They are smart cookies, and will be a delightful addition to a lucky family! All cats & kittens are up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, fixed, and FeLV/FIV tested. Adoption fee is a minimum $110 per kitten donation to Feral Fixers. Discounted adoption fee if two kittens are adopted together, $175 for a pair. A brief screening questionnaire and contract apply! If you are interested in meeting and adopting one of our cats please email: gotfriendlies@gmail.com Our cats and kittens are in private foster homes and need a completed questionnaire before an appointment can be made to meet them. All of our cats/kittens are in foster homes throughout DuPage County. We consider adopters within a reasonable driving distance.

Story
Teddie Bear is a striking male kitten who embodies the perfect blend of independence and selective affection. As the largest of his litter, this athletic boy carries himself with quiet confidence and grace. What makes Teddie Bear special is his discerning nature - he's very much a "cat's cat" who appreciates respect for his independence. Well, he actually could be a "dog's cat" too since he gets along well with the resident dog and even tries to snuggle with her. While he may not be destined to be a lap cat, he offers something even more precious: selective snuggles with his chosen people. When Teddie Bear decides you're worthy of his affection, those cuddle moments become incredibly meaningful. This handsome fellow is blessed with gorgeous light eyes that captivate everyone who meets him, and his sweet disposition shines through in his calm, gentle demeanor. Teddie Bear is wonderfully quiet, preferring to communicate through body language rather than excessive meowing - perfect for those who appreciate a more serene household companion. His athletic build suggests he'll be an excellent playmate who can entertain himself while still being a loving family member. Teddie Bear would thrive with someone who understands that the best relationships are built on mutual respect and appreciation. If you're looking for a beautiful, independent companion who will reward your patience with genuine affection on his own terms, Teddie Bear is ready to find his perfect match. Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a compatible playful cat. Kittens really need a feline playmate in their forever home…and then they can get to play, and snuggle while you're not home, wrestle with each other instead of with your ankles, and grow up with an always-available companion. Bored cats can become destructive cats. If you are only interested in adopting a single kitten, and you’re home most of the day, and able to spend interactive time with a kitten, we may consider adopting out a single kitten. We usually prefer that they be 4 months or older. But each application will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Many of our kitten litters may also be able to be mixed ‘n matched to make a pair if they are not particularly bonded with a sibling. Each foster home knows the kittens' personalities best, and we follow their recommendations for single placements or mix/matching. Teddie's date of birth is 9/15/25, and his adoption fee of $195 includes: medical exam, Feleuk/FIV test, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccinations, routine dewormings, microchip and neuter.

Story
Hi, I'm Gershwin, a handsome young fellow about 3 and a half years old. I was rescued from the outdoors and taken into this really nice lady's home where I have lived for the last year. I really love her, and she loves me, but I just can't seem to get used to sharing the home with her other cats. I'm more of a one-on-one type of guy. Lately I've been kept separated from everyone, and it's really not the kind of life that's good for me. I need a person who's looking for a one-on-one relationship where I can be the king of the castle. I am a VERY smart cat, I know my name & understand what my human says to me! If she leaves an open can of cat food on the counter (with a plastic lid on), I know how to open it! I'm very active, lots of energy…like to play & run a lot (inside only of course). I love to be brushed & always use my litter box. If you're looking for only one cat to be your loyal companion, I'm your guy. Come meet me! I know we can make beautiful music together. Gershwin's adoption fee of $120 includes vet exam, Feleuk/FIV test, rabies vaccination, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccination, deworming, microchip and neuter.

Story
This is Splashy, so named because her rescuer thought that her markings looked like she had paint splashed on her! She's totally adorable but still somewhat timid. Her foster mom is able to pick her up and hold her close and pet her. No purring yet. We just think she needs more time. Or, some cats just aren't big purrers. Splashy is very bonded with her friendly brother Mr. Whiskers and having him around is teaching her to be more confident. They would ideally like to be adopted together. They make a perfect ready-made pair. Behaviorally and socially, it’s best to adopt kittens in pairs, or into a home with a compatible playful cat.
