Story
We’re having to make the difficult decision to rehome our 6 year old Tabby, Nimbus. She’s been having a difficult time ever since I first became pregnant and now that my daughter is here, it’s only getting worse with her behavior and anxiety. This is not a decision we are taking lightly, but we have tried everything from behavioral meds to diffusers. It’s not fair for her to live in stress, so it is time for us to rehome her. She’s wonderful and loves to cuddle, but does not handle young kids well. She would do best in a quiet home where she gets lots of attention and doesn’t have to be around loud animals.

Story
Gray Matter was a gift from a friend. Initially, I was given her and her sister, GRU Girl. Gru wanted to be free, so I let her. But Gray is a sweet 3. She loves attention and to lay around with me, on my off days. I recently, within the last month, moved here from New Mexico but I didn't know that the place I'm staying at didn't accept cats. Management gave me a month to find assistance, but I have been so busy with work. I'm afraid to shelter her because I don't want her to be euthanized.

Story
I bought Elvis from the humane society back in 2017. He was only a couple months old. He is now 9 years old. I would describe Elvis as loving, goofy and affectionate. He loves Temptations treats and cuddling at night for bedtime. He is a very good boy. He does get along with cats and dogs but he takes a little bit to warm up. He is not one to attack, he runs away and hisses. I’m not charging a fee but I just want him to go to a loving home where someone will give him and love and treats and affection. He is completely indoors, never outside. Recently he has started to have issues with kidney stones. He’s already been through his medication. Honestly, right now he is living with my mother-in-law and he needs to go somewhere quieter and to be with someone who has more patience when he does have accidents. He is getting older and since I am unable to bring him to my house because of my landlord, I really am just looking for someone who will love him as much as I do.

Story
We first met Zayla around August of last year. One day, while I was on my way to work and waiting for an Uber, a friend pointed out that there was a cat nearby. I instinctively called out to her, and she immediately came over. She was incredibly friendly, affectionate, and seemed to want all the attention and pets she could get. At first, we decided to simply feed her whenever we were home. After getting to know her and realizing how sweet she was, I eventually decided to take her in. For about a year, Zayla was a wonderful companion. She is a loving cat and has a very affectionate side. Because she had previously been around other cats outdoors, I thought she might adjust well to having another cat in the home. Unfortunately, that was not the case. After bringing another cat into the household, Zayla became extremely stressed and aggressive. She attacked and bit my friend’s arm. We tried keeping the cats separated in different rooms, but Zayla continued becoming increasingly distres

Story
Columbo Junior is a small kitty who loves attention and playing. He’s skittish with loud noises and may frequently hide, but he’s very vocal and friendly when things settle. He enjoys pats on his lower back, and he may occasionally lay on you. His favorite spot is snuggling under a blanket on the couch Junior was found as a kitten under a porch with his two siblings. He was struggling with a double eye infection. We believe his vision was impaired. The vet said he was born with FIV, which caused the infection, stunting his growth. He likes taking his medicine so there should be no issue there He was my mom’s cat until she passed. When he moved in with us, he stayed in our bathroom. It took him a few weeks to adjust, so have a room ready for him to stay in and have a lot of patience. He relies on his hearing to keep himself safe and hides from loud noises, when the front door opens, or when new people are around He is named after Columbo the detective, but responds better with Junior

Story
Capone is a high energy boy who loves to play. He can be held for a bit and enjoys some pets but can become `bitey`. He hasn`t reacted around other animals at the shelter and should do fine with other friendly animals with slow introduction. Capone would be best in a home without young children and a cat-savvy adopter.

Story
Kari is a very cute, petite girl who is active and playful. Her former family could not take her with them when they moved. In that home she was around children with no issues but reportedly scared of large dogs. Kari should do well in most homes with proper introduction to other friendly animals and without larger dogs.
