Story
Hi! I’m Tinga. I was adopted from IACS in February. 6 months later my previous owner tried to return me due to landlord fees. The shelter is already overcapacity and requires appointments. I was about to be dumped outside when one of the workers decided to take me home and try to re home me themselves. At first I was at my house, and then I was put in a box, taken back to the scary shelter, and then taken to a random place that I’ve never been before! I was so confused! I hid under the bed for a whole day. I never showed any signs of aggression I was just scared being in this unfamiliar place. But once I came out I let her know how sweet I was and how much I love pets. Now I cuddle and lay on the bed instead of under. She already has two cats and a dog in a one bedroom apartment with low funds. If her situation was different she would love to have me. I am around a year and a half and have lived with another cat in my previous home. I am playful and so nice :)

Story
we think jody was dumped. we found him 7/28/23 in our yard close to our house. we were told he was approx 12 wks old. he's around a year old now but still looks like a kid. we have four other cats, two other dumped cats and two adopted from a shelter. they are all older than jody and have never bonded with him. we don't get to spend enough quality time with him but he loves to play and eat and sleep. he might do well with a medium sized dog. he would probably do well with other young, male cats because he really just likes to wrestle. unsure about how he would do with children but he might be ok if the children are old enough to understand what cats are like. we feel there are many other homes where he could thrive and be the best jody he can be. the most important thing for him is access to windows with something to sit and lay on while he's looking out of them.

Story
Meowz is a 12 year old female and she has only had one home her whole life. She has primarily been an indoor cat, but she loves spending time outside. She is very little. She is affectionate, mellow, and playful. As she has gotten older, she has more special needs that unfortunately we aren’t able to give her. Some things to note: She is unable to stay home alone during travel that is >24 hours because she now experiences intense separation anxiety which causes her to lose control of her bowels. This has proven difficult for us, and we travel frequently and don’t have family nearby to watch her. She doesn’t typically do well with boarding as it also causes anxiety, so she will need someone to watch her during those times. In general, she uses her littler box pretty well, but it has to be cleaned every day. She is very sweet and I just want her to have a great home where her new family can give her the time and attention she deserves as she ages.

Cat is full of energy and comes with many surprises. She is a little hard to train since she was a stray cat so being patient is best.

Story
Karen is a very simple cat. She stays to herself and loves having her own spot. She likes being up high on a cat condo and will stay there all day. Karen has been in a house with dogs and cats but I feel she needs something quieter and alone. She has a little bit of extra energy at night for a short period but other than that she is very chill. She likes to make biscuits and sit on you and is will head butt to show her love.

Story
Merlin has a temperament that is high-spirited with affection, craves physical touch, loves to cuddle. He also knows the time to calm down, find a quiet place for himself. He was inherited from my uncle who passed away in October of 2024, as I had an existing kitty I wanted to see if after some time they could get along. My existing cat has proven to require a single pet home, and Merlin does not need the extra stress of an aggressive animal. He gets along well with the other kitty he was inherited with, Mira, who is also listed on this site if you have interest in adopting 2 pets. As Merlin was inherited, I do not have documentation for him. He was adopted from a shelter in Bloomington, IN. Merlin is an incredible companion and deserves a peaceful loving home. He requires no special attention or treatments as he is quite healthy and robust! He is free and an automatic feeder will come with his adoption.

Story
Our sweet cat Anchor has been with us for almost 10 years. She loves to keep to herself and does well with her sibling cats, adults, and older kids/teens. She loves to lay nearby and every now and then asks for a good snuggle and belly rub. We are so sad to need to rehome our cats. We have outgrown our home and are unable to give our cats space away from our youngest kiddo. The cats are not doing well with our toddler. Would love to keep our cats together. They are very low maintenance and so loving. Anchor does great with her sibling cats but unsure how she will do with other cats.

Our sweet cat Mustard has been with us for almost 10 years. He is so fun and we are convinced he thinks he is a dog. Genuinely the coolest cat. He greets you and guests at the dog, loves to play fetch, and his meow almost sounds like a bark. We are so sad to need to rehome our cats. We have outgrown our home and are unable to give our cats space away from our youngest kiddo. The cats are not doing well with our toddler. Would love to keep our cats together. Story
3-4 year-old female tabby. She is the absolute sweetest and so friendly! She loves cuddling, sitting in your lap, and being pet. She loves every human she meets and doesn't take long to get acquainted. She needs to be in a home without other pets as she is scared of dogs and can't be with cats due to being FIV+.

Story
This handsome cat showed up on our doorstep desperately wanting a home a few years ago. He likely was dumped, as he was already neutered and looking for a loving home. He is extremely loving, affectionate, and needs a lot of cuddles. He enjoys being held and riding on shoulders. He will do best in a two-parent home where someone is home with him most of the time. My living situation cannot provide this for him any longer. He is approximately 7 years old according to the vet.
