Story
Chanel is a wonderful cat. She really needs a home where she can be around as few animals as possible. She is an indoor cat. Chanel loves to cuddle and lay with you! She has upper respiratory issues and needs steroid liquid to keep her from sneezing. She is super loving and needs an environment that is calm and relaxing for her.

Story
Hi! I’m Tinga. I was adopted from IACS in February. 6 months later my previous owner tried to return me due to landlord fees. The shelter is already overcapacity and requires appointments. I was about to be dumped outside when one of the workers decided to take me home and try to re home me themselves. At first I was at my house, and then I was put in a box, taken back to the scary shelter, and then taken to a random place that I’ve never been before! I was so confused! I hid under the bed for a whole day. I never showed any signs of aggression I was just scared being in this unfamiliar place. But once I came out I let her know how sweet I was and how much I love pets. Now I cuddle and lay on the bed instead of under. She already has two cats and a dog in a one bedroom apartment with low funds. If her situation was different she would love to have me. I am around a year and a half and have lived with another cat in my previous home. I am playful and so nice :)

Story
we think jody was dumped. we found him 7/28/23 in our yard close to our house. we were told he was approx 12 wks old. he's around a year old now but still looks like a kid. we have four other cats, two other dumped cats and two adopted from a shelter. they are all older than jody and have never bonded with him. we don't get to spend enough quality time with him but he loves to play and eat and sleep. he might do well with a medium sized dog. he would probably do well with other young, male cats because he really just likes to wrestle. unsure about how he would do with children but he might be ok if the children are old enough to understand what cats are like. we feel there are many other homes where he could thrive and be the best jody he can be. the most important thing for him is access to windows with something to sit and lay on while he's looking out of them.

Story
Rick is a 2 year old neutered male sweetheart who I have had the blessing to care for over the last year. With his siblings relocating with my roommates move and our transition from a house to a 1 bedroom apartment in Indianapolis and my not being around at all during the day, I’m realizing I can’t be the cat mom I want to be. Rick (formally “Vierk,” after Vierk’s Fine Jewelry in Lafayette nearby where he was found) is a very loving and sweet boy who loves to cuddle and birdwatch. He grew up around 2 other cats who he loved and will likely get along with other cats if they are playful. He can be very shy at first, but will warm up to you and will eventually warm up to you, curl up in your lap, and come to know you as his best friend.

Story
I’m looking for an animal lover or someone who needs a companion. she answers by Kitty but we named her Medusa. she’s about 4 years old but she’s really petite. she can also be outside but recently we believe that she was picked up by a falcon or some bird so now she her front left leg is broken but I have an appointment set up to fix it. What I really need is someone to take her in, my family no longer wants animals so they kicked her out. I’ve been trying to find family for her but no one said anything back & I believe it’s because of her age or they just don’t want a cat. she’s genuinely a sweet girl, all she wants to do is get under the blankets for your heat or to lay beside you while you work. I can’t describe how desperate I am to find a family that can take of her especially now that she’s hurt.

Story
This sweet boy appeared abandoned and I was able to feed him outdoors last winter/early spring. He is somewhat shy but affectionate and loves petting. I had 5 cats indoor already so I fed him only. Vetted him, tested fiv and felv negative, vaccinated. He has a habit of panting before he eats, something like a mild nervous habit. Animal Medical Center examined him May 2024 and found no polyps oral or nasal, no physical problems. He is a lover, not aggressive and worked his way around other outdoor cats safely. He stayed indoor a short time and loved it. Litter trained, very calm! I would love to bring him in but my other cats would not allow. He deserves a safe home, very sweet orange tabby boy.
