Story
Loki is a 4yr old mixed tabby rescued from a stray litter. Neutered and fully vaccinated, he is healthy and up to date on all routine care. His Personality is shy at first, but transforms in a snuggle buddy once he gets to know you. Playful, loves chasing toys and exploring. Would be happy with another cat to keep him company. He eats Wellness Cat food, wet and dry. Looking to rehome him, I am retiring soon and plan to travel, he deserves a home where someone is home more often or another cat to keep him company. He does have separation anxiety. If you are ready to welcome a playful, loving, great snuggler into your home, He would love to meet you! Please reach out to arrange a visit!

Story
My master seems to be becoming more and more distracted thinking I will not have a home. I'm afraid to sleep in a car. I'm afraid to go to the happy shelter place alone. My master knows I do not like cars. My master adopted me just before the county animal services officer was going to put me in a transport container. Almost all the time I'm happy to look out at nature through the tall screen of my master's apartment's sliding glass door, to listen to my master tell me positive things like "you are big and furry," and "you are big cat" even though I'm small. But what will happen if I am in car? I've been a good cat for 13 years. I need a good home.

Story
Mochi was my first cat—adopted during the COVID shutdown when she was just 8 weeks old. For the past 5 years, she’s been my little shadow, always curious, smart, and full of personality. She’s incredibly affectionate with people and loves to play, especially fetch with balled-up tinfoil. She’s also a bit of a trickster—she’s figured out how to open cupboards, unscrew feeder lids, and will find bread no matter where you hide it. Recently, I moved in with my girlfriend who has multiple cats, and unfortunately, Mochi hasn’t been able to get along with them despite weeks of slow introductions. With a baby on the way, we’ve realized that rehoming her is the kindest and safest option for everyone involved—including Mochi. She’s a wonderful, loving cat who just needs to be the only pet in a quiet home where she can thrive as the center of someone’s world. Letting her go is incredibly hard, but I know she’ll bring so much joy to the right person.

Meet Oreo! Oreo is a beautiful 3-year-old sweetheart with a soft spirit and a curious nature. She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it doesn’t take her long to warm up especially if you give her a cozy spot to call her own. Oreo loves spending her days perched up high, gazing out the window and watching the world go by from her favorite cat tree. She is calicivirus positive, so she’ll do best as the only cat in the home or with other calici-positive friends. Once she feels safe, Oreo’s gentle personality truly shines. She’s the perfect mix of calm, cuddly, and curious. Submit an adoption application at al-van.org/adopt.
