Tabby kittens & cats in Auburn, New York

Gigi is a very loving and affectionate pet but unfortunately she no longer gets along with my other cat. This has changed her demeanor. Her stress response has been hard to see. She just hides instead of being her affectionate self. It is my hope that when she gets used to a new and safe environment she will resume her prior demeanor. Gigi is litter trained, has been indoor and is up to date with all vet visits Unfortunately she is inconsistent with litter box use now in her current state but has been perfect prior to this household dynamic shift.

Cleo is a very sweet cat, hates the outdoors, and loves to cuddle all the time. Her best friend is a dog and she does considerably well in baths. I am moving in with roommates who have dogs that don’t do well with cats. She is a cat that needs lots of love, toys, and a friend. Whether that friend is a person or an animal she loves the attention. She is roughly a little over a year now.

Sherbet is a great friend! He likes to sleep under beds and in dark corners. He was adopted as a kitten 5 years ago and we have been his only home. The reason we are trying to rehome him is that we have a different tuxedo cat who has been bullying Sherbet, and they don't really get along. Sherbet also really loves to eat, and tends to eat his dinner as well as his brother's, so he's put on a little weight lately. He would probably do better in a home where his food can be rationed better and has someone to play with him. He loves scratches under his jaw and belly rubs. He has never scratched or bit and is great with kids.

Good morning! My mom is 75 years old and she's been taking care of two cats (see pictures) helping out her granddaughter that recently had a baby. The two cats are well taken care of and they are safe living on my mother's back enclosed porch. The care of the cats are becoming a financial burden on my mother because she's on a fixed income. We would like to see these two cats placed with someone that could care for them. The black cat is a male cat and the gray cat is a female cat both cars are 14 months old, they've had their shots and they both have flea collars on. Please let me know if you could help with this. Alex and Jason's journey began being abandoned with their mother and siblings. A concerned neighbor contacted a Cnycc volunteer to help. They have been with the caring neighbor as their foster for almost one year. Their mom and siblings have been adopted to wonderful homes, and the two bonded brothers are looking for their forever home. Both boys are shy at first and need time and patience to adjust to new people and places. You can see in the video how they have blossomed into sweet companions with their foster. Jason is a tabby cat and loves chasing his toys and exploring, being pet and jumping on his foster's lap, and is a cuddle bug! Alex is a gentle tabby boy who is also shy at first with new people. Alex likes getting scratches on his head and face and enjoys hunting toys! Alex and Jason will brighten up any home, and look forward to meeting their loving forever family. They do best in a home with older children and no dogs. With tender loving care, these adorable boys will become your new best friends. Balu is a male all black cat around 8 years old. He was originally a feral cat but was caught and I adopted him a year later. He was neutered by the person who caught him. He is very shy when first getting to know you but once he gets to know you he is very loving and affectionate. Right now he lives with three other cats and they get along pretty well, but our vet thinks Balu would do better in a house with no animals. He is littler box trained. Balu needs a nice quiet home to live out golden years in peace and quiet. We unfortunately cannot give him the life he needs anymore and as much as it pains me to find him a new home, he deserves a better quality of life than we can offer him.

Bonney is a 3 almost 4/o old kitty who showed up during a muggy May day. After cleaning her and taking her in, she has turned out to be a super friendly and sweet kitty looking for a new home. She loves belly rubs! She seems almost doglike at times with how she acts at times. She doesn’t seem picky with wet or dry food, and if she’s hungry, she’ll definitely meow at you loudly to let you know. Bonney needs a home with good space. She gets the post poop zoomies, so a nice place to run would do her immense favors! She likes to occasionally find little hiding places to sit like she’s a bat in a cave. Scratching posts or designated scratching areas are a must for Bonney, as she LOVES scratching when she stretches or when she wants to entertain herself. She does like cords and some blankets and bedsheets, so make sure you figure out good stimulation. Lastly, we cannot keep her because she keeps rough housing our 16 y/o elderly cat. Bonney has a lot of energy, and our cat just is too old.

We brought Archie home from a cat cafe in Syracuse in January 2024. We were immediately enchanted by how affectionate he was, and how quickly he got used to our household. He has beautiful blue eyes and a loud, easy purr, LOVES one-on-one attention and even gets along great with small children.He does not do well with other cats as he is extremely territorial and jealous of diverted attention. We do not know how he does with dogs. But Archie will quickly and devotedly attach himself to you after pets and cuddles! Our reason for rehoming him is that we are welcoming a new baby soon and expect many lifestyle changes.
