Story
Meet Rosie, a beautiful 8-month-old tabby with a gentle soul and a heart full of love. This young mama was found fending for herself and her kitten, Posie, near a petroleum plant in Bethel. Rosie was just a kitten herself when she had Posie only four months ago, making her story all the more heartbreaking. Despite being so young, she showed incredible devotion and resilience, protecting and raising her baby in an environment no cat should ever endure. Through it all, she remained loving, trusting, and deeply connected to people—a true testament to her sweet nature. Rosie is talkative and affectionate, always ready to greet you with soft chirps and little conversations. She enjoys being near her people and will happily follow you around, keeping you company throughout the day. Whether you’re relaxing or going about your routine, Rosie wants to be part of it. She has a calm, nurturing presence but also a playful, youthful side that shines through. Now that her days of raising a baby are behind her, Rosie is more than ready for a home of her own where she can finally be cared for and cherished the way she deserves. She would do fine as a solo cat soaking up all the attention, or in a home with another kitty. Her easygoing and affectionate personality makes her a purrfect addition to any home. Her adoption fee is $275, and Rosie is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. Story
Meet Willow, a one-year-old tabby who was rescued from a difficult situation in Waterbury after a Good Samaritan stepped in and saved her and her two kittens. The home was overcrowded and only focused on breeding and selling cats, and Willow spent much of her early life confined with very limited access to proper food, water, or socialization. Despite that rough start, she has shown remarkable resilience. Because of her background, Willow can be a bit timid when meeting new people and may take a little time to feel comfortable in unfamiliar situations. Once she feels safe, her personality truly shines through—she becomes a gentle, affectionate love bug who enjoys attention and quiet companionship. Willow has the softest, silk-like coat and a calm, easygoing nature. She keeps her space tidy and doesn’t create much chaos, preferring a peaceful environment where she can relax and observe the world at her own pace. She would thrive in a quiet, patient home that understands the value of giving a shy cat the time she needs to blossom. Her adoption fee is $225 and Willow is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. If you're interested in this gorgeous girl, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Meet Salty, a five-month-old tabby who made his way to Connecticut all the way from Barbados, bringing a little bit of island charm with him! His name is inspired by the salty ocean air he came from—and it suits him perfectly. While he may be a bit shy at first, Salty has truly blossomed into such a sweet and loving kitten. Once he feels comfortable, he’ll happily curl up in bed with you, making himself right at home as your snuggly little companion. Salty is also full of playful kitten energy! He enjoys batting around toys, climbing his cat tower, and spending time gazing out the window, taking in the world around him. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and truly thrives with feline companionship. Because of this, Salty must go to a home with another kitty friend. He’ll make a purrfect addition to any home! His adoption fee is $275 and Salty is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and neutered. If you're interested in this sweet boy, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Amy came to me as Rozy from a man who lost their home. She is sweet but very shy. She is not a holding type of cat. It takes a long time for her to trust anyone. She eats only her food. She doesn't like treats or snacks. She eats seniors Science Diet with cranberry drops as a supplement for her bladder. Amy loves to drink from a fresh glass of water on the coffee table, seriously lol. I'm disabled and I just got another diagnosis. I have cat allergies and I've dealt with her for almost 2 years. I can't do it anymore. I personally cannot afford veterinary visits to get her checked out. The person where she came from was not very kind to her.Amy is a one person pet. She would do best with being the only pet.I've loved her but I can't care for her anymore. I'm very sad about this. Trusting someone who is very kind and has patience with an older cat is very difficult. Not everyone will be so kind. I'm hoping and praying someone special will come and love her more than me.

Story
Tiger was born July 28, 2025. she was a kitten of a stray cat in a litter of eight. I can no longer find the paper yet she did have her shots. She has not been spayed. She has the ability to use her litter box as long as she has access to it. She is also used to sleeping in the cage at night and roaming throughout the day. She loves chasing and smacking around little toy balls or ball like objects. She enjoys indoor sunbathing in windows. We’ve had no issue with her tearing up furniture, clothing, curtains, as you could usually see in kittens. Besides the random parkour off of furniture, she is a well-behaved kitten who loves to play. I am moving so I no longer can take care of her. I do have a huge cage for her that fits her litter box, small scratching post, and her bed. The litter box can come out of her cage as long as you show her the location of her litter box or if it stays in the cage I’d advise it to be changed often.

Story
We always have Barn and Farm cats to place! Most of these are cats who are not friendly with people, although many do become so over time. These cats live outside primarily and help reduce rodent and pest populations. Farms, barns, feed stores, warehouses, greenhouses, or any building that offers a cat escape from severe weather and predators is ideal for placement. We like to place in pairs but that is not required. The cats in these photos are shy/timid with people but not aggressive and would do best in an outdoor home, not as a house cat. We ask for a $50 fee for each cat adopted however we do spend about $150 per cat to be spayed or neutered and get vaccines so any additional donation is greatly appreciated. Story
KIRI is a sweet and playful kitty about 1 year old. We think she was kicked when she was an outside stray cat as she had several broken ribs when we first took her. She is completely healed up now and very ready to find her forever home. Her left hind leg does not support all of her weight, so she is a little wobbly. This could be related to her physical injuries OR she could have a very mild case of "CH" - cerebellar hypoplasia. Kiri loves other cats and loves to play. She would be a great companion for another kitty in your home. She is a bit shy/nervous with new people at first but loves food and treats which is a great way to make friends with her quickly. She does not have any special needs except a home without stairs. She uses a little box just fine, she can get up on a cat condo and on a couch or bed. If interested in adopting, start at CatsCT.org. and submit an application. Meet this kitty in purrson at Bridgeport Petco, 4559 Main St by appointment..

Story
If interested in adopting, start at CatsCT.org to submit an application. Nigel is a handsome young adult who loves to be petted, have attention and spend time with people. He gets along with other cats and would be a great companion for an adult or senior cat in your home or just for you! Nigel came to us as a stray and was in a foster home for several months. He has tested positive for FIV, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, similar to HIV. Just like with people this is NOT contagious through casual contact. It's safe to share food, water, and a litter box with a negative cat. FIV is only passed by a mating, or a deep bite wound, where saliva from the positive cat enters the blood stream of another kitty. This is very rare in socialized house cats. FIV cats may have a shorter life span in part due to the fact that with a compromised immune system they are more prone to contracting infections. FIV positive cats must live strictly indoors to reduce the chances of contracting something dangerous. It is NOT a death sentence! FIV positive cats can live well into their teens and have a very normal life.
