we adopted her as a stray back in october, she is 5 months now. very playful, has her first round of dewormer and distresser vaccines. unfortunately we cant keep her too long because of everyone’s busy schedules. if looking to get her spayed, i highly recommend the nutmeg clinic in stratford ct. definitely needs a lot of attention so if anyone is just looking to fill the silence in their home, she’s a good fit. ** will supply her food

Story
We welcomed our cat into our home when he was just two weeks old, a sweet gift from a family friend in December 2017. Now, we're are looking for a loving home where he can continue to be cared for and cherished. If you're someone who can offer him a calm, caring environment and the love he deserves, he'll make a wonderful and loyal companion. (P.S I do have some stuff to give that can last him a few weeks + month before you have to buy anything like food, a bed, litter.)

Story
Meet Fir, a three-month-old tabby from the Christmas Tree litter. She came to us from a home in Bridgeport along with her siblings, Fraser, Spruce, and Evergreen. Due to an unspayed female and unneutered male cat in the home, multiple litters were born. Thankfully, the kittens were rescued and given the chance for brighter futures. While the boys have already been adopted, Fir and her sister Evergreen are still waiting for their furever homes. Fir is playful and loves to chase her toys and zoom around during playtime. She may be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly once she feels comfortable. While she isn’t overly affectionate right away, she truly enjoys being pet and will happily sweet-talk you when treats are involved. Fir is a very sweet girl who will blossom with lots of love. Fir does well with other cats and is great with children of all ages. Because she thrives with companionship, she must be adopted either with her sister Evergreen or into a home that already has another playful kitty. Her adoption fee is $275 and Fir is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and will be spayed next month. If you're interested in this little cutie, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Meet Evergreen, a six-month-old tabby sweetheart who truly lives up to her name—steady, loving, and always happy to be by your side. She came to us from a home in Bridgeport along with her siblings, Fraser, Spruce, and Fir. Due to an unspayed female and unneutered male cat in the home, multiple litters were born. Thankfully, the kittens were rescued and given the chance for brighter futures. While the boys have already been adopted, Evergreen and her sister Fir are still waiting for their furever homes. Evergreen has the most gentle and affectionate nature and enjoys being involved in whatever her people are doing, whether that’s playtime, lounging around the house, snuggling, or simply watching the world go by from her tower or the window. She loves attention and will happily settle in for snuggles any time of the day. Evergreen is social, curious, and thrives on companionship, making her a wonderful addition to a home looking for a loving, loyal kitty. She does well with other cats and is great with children of all ages. Because she thrives with companionship, she must be adopted either with her sister Fir or into a home that already has another playful kitty. If you’re looking for a sweet baby to grow with you, Evergreen may be the purrfect match. Her adoption fee is $275 and Evergreen is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. Story
Meet McFlurry, a three-month-old gray tabby with the most gorgeous coat and the sweetest, gentlest eyes. He was taken in—along with his friends McMuffin and Mr. Whiskers—by a kind Good Samaritan in Greenwich, who made sure they were safe before seeking out a rescue to help them find loving furever homes. Full of personality and joy, she’s often described as “a dog on a leash” — bursting with energy, endlessly entertaining, and always ready to be right by your side. This playful girl will happily follow you wherever you go, curious about everything and eager to be part of the action. She loves to play, especially in the bathtub, where she turns everyday moments into pure fun. When she’s not zooming around, you’ll likely find her glued to cat TV or exploring her surroundings with wide-eyed wonder. McFlurry is a lively, affectionate kitten who would thrive in a home ready to match her enthusiasm. She must be adopted with one of her foster buddies or into a home with another young cat. She was also great with children of all ages at a past event. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who will keep you smiling and never let you feel alone, McFlurry might just be your purrfect match. Her adoption fee is $275 and McFlurry is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and will be spayed when of age. If you're interested in this cutie, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
We always have Barn and Farm cats to place! Most of these are cats who are not friendly with people, although many do become so over time. These cats live outside primarily and help reduce rodent and pest populations. Farms, barns, feed stores, warehouses, greenhouses, or any building that offers a cat escape from severe weather and predators is ideal for placement. We like to place in pairs but that is not required. The cats in these photos are shy/timid with people but not aggressive and would do best in an outdoor home, not as a house cat. We ask for a $50 fee for each cat adopted however we do spend about $150 per cat to be spayed or neutered and get vaccines so any additional donation is greatly appreciated. Blue is a very sweet, easy going, and affectionate adult kitty approx 4-5 years old. He came to us when his owner went into the hospital and could no longer provide care. He was an only cat before coming to us but did well in a multi-cat foster home. Blue does prefer girl kitties over other boys :) He loves to follow you around and will sit on the couch or bed for hours being petted. If interested in adopting, start at CatsCT.org. and submit an application. See this kitty in purrson at PETCO, 4559 Main St, Bridgeport weekends 11-2.

Story
Mona is a sweet and gentle girl about 2 1/2 who came to us as a stray. She loves to have attention and spend time with people. Mona gets along with most other nice cats or would be happy having all your attention to herself. Mona has tested positive for FIV, also known at kitty Aids. Just like with people it is NOT contagious through casual contact. It's safe to share food, water, and litter box with a negative cat. FIV is only passed by mating or a deep bite wound, where saliva from the positive cat enters the blood stream of another kitty. This is very rare in socialized house cats. FIV cats may have a shorter life span in part due to the fact that with a compromised immune system they are more prone to contracting infections. FIV positive cats must live strictly indoors to reduce the chances of contracting something dangerous. It is NOT a death sentence! FIV positive cats can live well into their teens and have a very normal life. Mona was fostered in a home with several negative cats. If interested in adopting, start at CatsCT.org. and submit an application. See this kitty in purrson at PETCO, 4559 Main St, Bridgeport anytime the store is open.
