Story
Meet Wesley, a five-month-old tabby with the sweetest little face and the most stunning striped coat you’ve ever seen. He came to us as a stray alongside his sister, Lilu, an orange tabby beauty, and the two have been figuring out indoor life together ever since. Wesley is truly a cat’s cat. He absolutely LOVES other kitties and takes so much comfort in their presence, so he must be adopted with his sister or into a home that already has a feline companion. Having a buddy helps him feel safe and brings out his playful, affectionate side. Wesley is very playful as well and loves to chase rope toys and scratch away on his tower. While he can be a bit shy at first, Wesley is making wonderful progress in his foster home. He was a bit skittish in the beginning, but once he learns to trust you, he becomes a comfortable, loving little shadow. Wesley is now even starting to come up to his foster family for pets and rubs — and he’s a BIG purr ball. Once that motor starts, it doesn’t stop! He loves butt rubs and enjoys cuddles (on his terms, of course — he is still a gentleman with boundaries). He doesn’t love being picked up but will tolerate it, and he continues to gain confidence each day. His adoption fee is $275 and Wesley is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and neutered. If you're interested in this little cutie, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Meet Kevin, a four-month-old orange tabby with eyes that perfectly match his gorgeous orange coat. He came to us as a stray, but you would never guess it based on his incredible personality. He was a little unsure the first day in his foster home, but once he realized he was safe, his true self came shining through — and what a sweetheart he is! He really is a “Kevin”…but not like Kevin McCallister — because this Kevin definitely does not like being home alone. He’s a true companion who wants to be wherever you are. Whether you’re lounging on the couch, moving around the house, or settling in for the night, Kevin is right there, ready to hang out and soak up the love. He enjoys being picked up, happily cuddles in close, and has a wonderful purr that lets you know just how content he is. He loves to play, is always up for a tasty bite of chicken, and has already claimed his favorite cozy spot on the couch. Kevin absolutely loves other cats so he must be adopted to a home with his foster buddy, Carmen (brown & white tabby), or with another young kitty. He is a little apprehensive around his foster’s dog, but he’s also very curious and interested in her. We believe with a little time and patience, he’ll adjust. From stray beginnings to a certified cuddle bug, Kevin is ready to find a furever home where he’ll never have to be alone again. His adoption fee is $275 and Kevin is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and neutered. If you're interested in this little cutie, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Meet Susie, an eight-month-old white & tabby DSH with a story that spans miles and a heart that’s just waiting to bloom. This island girl made her way to us all the way to Connecticut from beautiful Barbados, and while her journey has been a big one, she’s ready to finally settle into a furever home of her own. Susie can be a little shy at first and appreciates a gentle, patient approach as she gets to know you. New environments can feel overwhelming, but give her a little time and space, and you’ll see her sweet personality start to shine. Once she trusts you, she transforms into a total love — soaking up affection, leaning into pets, and quietly adoring her people. She plays well with other cats and truly thrives with feline companionship, so she must be adopted into a home with another kitty friend. A confident cat buddy will help her continue building confidence and feeling secure. If you believe that the best bonds are the ones built with patience and love, Susie just might be your purrfect match. Her adoption fee is $275 and Susie is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. Story
Meet Lilu, a five-month-old orange tabby with a darling face and a soft, sun-kissed coat to match her warm personality. And here’s a fun fact: only about 20% of orange tabbies are female — which makes this little lady extra special. She came to us as a stray with her equally adorable brother, Wesley, and the two have been learning just how sweet indoor life can be. Lilu may be a bit timid at first, but once she feels safe, her affectionate side truly shines. She loves being held and rubbed — especially upside down like a baby — and she’s a big fan of head rubs. Lilu’s a big purrer and a total snuggle bug once she trusts you. She also really enjoys the company of other cats and takes comfort in having a feline friend nearby. Because of this, she must be adopted with her brother Wesley or into a home that already has another friendly kitty. Having a companion helps her confidence continue to grow. Lilu’s an active player who loves chasing rope toys and happily scratching away on her post. While she was pretty skittish at first, with patience and kindness she becomes a loving, playful companion who will absolutely steal your heart. Her adoption fee is $275 and Lilu is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and spayed. If you're interested in this little cutie, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
Meet Meatball – a two-year-old tabby with a name that fits him perfectly! This handsome hunk earned his title thanks to his delightfully meatball-sized body: big, round, and absolutely scrumptious. Meatball was recently surrendered in New Haven when his owner could no longer care for him. While change is never easy, this resilient boy has settled in and is ready to find a furever home where he can truly shine. Meatball is a sweet and playful guy with a big personality to match his plumpness. He loves batting around toys, napping in the sink like he owns the place, sipping from a running faucet (a true connoisseur), and occasionally causing a little harmless havoc just to keep life interesting. He’s equal parts cuddly and mischievous — the perfect combo. We’ve learned that Meatball prefers to be the star of the show and isn’t a fan of other cats, so he’s looking for a home where he can be your one and only. In return, he promises plenty of entertainment, affection, and meatball-sized love. His adoption fee is $225 and Meatball is vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative, microchipped, and neutered. If you're interested in this big ball of cuteness, please fill out an application at https://form.jotform.com/201805462692153. For questions, email info@happilyfureverafter.org.

Story
We always have Barn and Farm cats to place! Most of these are cats who are not friendly with people, although many do become so over time. These cats live outside primarily and help reduce rodent and pest populations. Farms, barns, feed stores, warehouses, greenhouses, or any building that offers a cat escape from severe weather and predators is ideal for placement. We like to place in pairs but that is not required. The cats in these photos are shy/timid with people but not aggressive and would do best in an outdoor home, not as a house cat. We ask for a $50 fee for each cat adopted however we do spend about $150 per cat to be spayed or neutered and get vaccines so any additional donation is greatly appreciated. Story
Mona is a sweet and easygoing girl about 2-3 who came to us as a stray. She loves to have attention and spend time with people and is still playful. Mona gets along with most other nice cats or would be happy having all your attention to herself. Mona has tested positive for FIV, also known at kitty Aids. Just like with people it is NOT contagious through casual contact. It's safe to share food, water, and litter box with a negative cat. FIV is only passed by mating or a deep bite wound, where saliva from the positive cat enters the blood stream of another kitty. This is very rare in socialized house cats. FIV cats may have a shorter life span in part due to the fact that with a compromised immune system they are more prone to contracting infections. FIV positive cats must live strictly indoors to reduce the chances of contracting something dangerous. It is NOT a death sentence! FIV positive cats can live well into their teens and have a very normal life. Mona was fostered in a home with several negative cats. If interested in adopting, start at CatsCT.org. and submit an application. See this kitty in purrson at PETCO, 4559 Main St, Bridgeport anytime the store is open.
