It breaks my heart to say this, but I’m looking for a loving new home for my 3-year-old cat, Kane Bowers. ❤️ She is truly a little character! She’s spoiled, a little greedy when it comes to food 😂, she she can definitely let you know when she’s not getting her way. She can be quite the whiner, but that’s part of her adorable personality. She loves to cuddle, play, and be around her people. She has so much love to give and would make a wonderful companion for someone who can give her the attention and affection she deserves. Unfortunately, she sheds quite a bit, and my allergies have gotten to the point where I’m no longer able to comfortably keep her. This is an incredibly difficult decision, and I want to make sure she goes to someone who will love and care for her as much as I have. Story

Bean and Sprout were given to me 5 years ago as kittens. They are brother and sister and very loving, calm and never aggresive. Adoption is available for one or both. They are inside/outside, when they choose, during sunny weather but inside most of the winter and can absolutely be kept indoor if you like. I will be back and forth to Florida and cannot travel with them. Both are independent but love rub downs and enjoy sitting in your lap or curled up next to you. They have warmed up to each catsitter I've had when I travel, but it takes a few days to warm up to others with feeding them treats.

Sprout and his sister Bean were given to me 5 years ago as kittens. They are inside/outside if weather permits, otherwise, they stay inside for most of the winter, therefore can adjust to being indoor only. Sprout can be a very loving lap sitter. Always stretching out on his back, feet in the air! He can independent and will come to you when you call him, or if he wants anything, like rub downs or treats. Both cats are calm and never aggressive, but together they are very good but do get on each others nerves and hiss and a bop from time to time. I am going to travel back and forth alot to Fl and must unfortunately rehome them together or separately.

Meet Gemma, a one-year-old tabby with the most gorgeous markings and absolutely stunning golden eyes. She came to us with her five babies — Pebbles, Opal, Flint, Mica, and Slate — after their little family was found living in a quarry in Waterbury. Now that her babies are nearly all adopted, it’s time for this beautiful mama to have her chance, too. While Gemma is understandably very shy and cautious around people, she thankfully isn’t feral. Because of this, we believe there’s a good chance she once belonged to someone and may have been dumped at the quarry, left to fend for herself and eventually raise her babies there. Despite everything she’s been through, we see so much potential in this beautiful girl. Gemma may not be the kitty who immediately runs up asking for pets or curls into your lap on day one — but that doesn’t mean she won’t get there. She simply needs someone willing to give her what she hasn’t had enough of: patience, time, consistency, and love. With the right family who will allow her to adjust at her own pace and celebrate the little victories along the way, we truly believe Gemma can continue learning to trust and blossom into the loving house cat she deserves to be. Fitzgerald is a very chill cat. He is very much motivated by food and looks forward to his next meal at all times.He has a sweet personality. I am simply no longer able to care for him because of personal circumstances. He was adopted at four weeks old and lived with another cat until 18 months ago when that cat passed away. He is currently 12 and in good health. He’s fearless, affectionate once he is comfortable with a person but he is not a needy cat. He simply likes to sleep a lot.Six months ago, he had necessary dental surgery and had several teeth removed. However, he has no issues eating, but for obvious reasons prefers soft food.

One day I received a call from a self identified "dog person" who, although she'd pet Mama de Mayo in the months prior when she'd seen her was at a loss for what to do in her current predicament. Mama de Mayo had snuck into her finished basement & given birth to 5 kittens behind her couch. I asked our local TNR associate to go there to assess the situation & she was able to trap the now nervous new mom. The little family went to foster & now most of her kittens have been adopted. Mama de Mayo was initially pretty nervous in shelter but did well in foster so it will likely take her a little more time to decompress once in her new home. Mama de Mayo has been microchipped, vaccinated & spayed.

She was found by a kind samaritan, but unfortunately, the resident cats in that home weren't very welcoming to her. But Georgette’s story gets better. Since coming to PAWS, she has found her soulmate in a fellow FeLV+ kitty named Cloudy! They've become deeply bonded and must go home together. Because Georgette and Cloudy are FeLV (Feline Leukemia) positive, they need to be the only cats in your home (or live with other FeLV+ friends).
