Story
This is Lady! She was found as a kitten stealing table scraps and playfully terrorizing patrons around a restaurant in Durham. She would make an amazing companion for anyone looking to adopt, even for a first time cat owner! She’s a very sweet and playful girl who loves attention and back rubs. She loves treats and Cat TV, but does not do well with dogs, as she is quite scared of them. She is a very feisty, funny little girl who would make an amazing pet!

Story
Simba is a sweet and playful boy, but not coping well with the addition of a new baby. His anxiety is causing him to urinate around the house and I have to make the extremely difficult decision to find him a new, loving home. He is also bonded with his sister, Nala (also 12), so I think they would be happier in a new home together. Simba loves to cuddle with his catnap toys, and also play fetch with rubber bands. Nala loves dribbling crinkly balls like a soccer ball! I can't belive they are 12 because they play like kittens. They will snuggle with me on the couch (when they decide to :)) and sleep in bed with me. They are inside cats, spayed/neutered. They will do best in a generally quiet home with no dogs. They also love plenty of windows for sleeping in the sun and bird-watching.

Story
He is part of a bonded pair (brothers) and must be adopted together. They were born from the same litter and have never been away from each other. They were both fixed at 6 weeks. Rusty was born March 17, 2023. He is very active and loves to chase his brother around. He is affectionate and loves to boop heads with you. He loves to lay in the window/sun inside or outside. He has never shown any signs of aggression and doesn’t bite or scratch. I have had him since birth and have never had any behavioral issues. He hasn’t been around a lot of strangers and can be skittish until he gets to know you, but comes around quickly. He is so sweet and loving. They have been well loved and I am beyond heartbroken to have to rehome him and his brother, but it is what is best for our situation. Please feel free to contact me with any additional questions/concerns.

Story
Joey wandered into (or dropped into) my yard. I took him to the vet and she said he was about 5 weeks old. He’s a big cat and the sweetest cat you’ll ever meet. I wish i could keep him but I’m just getting too old to care for him. I want him to have a loving home because he is very loving. He is about 5 years old .

Story
Eliza (pronounced Eh-Leez-ah) is a shy, sweet, litter-trained, indoor cat. She is overweight and needs to be with someone who will not over-feed her and help her lose a few pounds. She will wander outside if the door is open, but she comes back in when called. Eliza has been staying with my disabled sister since her original owner abandoned her, but my sister is medically no longer able to care for her. I love cats and would take her in, but we currently have dogs who are not cat-compatable. The fee is just to make sure you're serious about adopting. We will provide her adoptive person with all of her food, bowls, litter, litter boxes, and toys. She is shy, so may hide at first. We do have some vet records, as she visited the vet recently for a check-up.

Story
Tiger is a super affectionate orange tabby that I had since he was 8 weeks old. He loves affection and wished he could be a lap cat but because my son is allergic to cats, he does not get on furniture or laps. He is sweet and gets along very well with our dog who also needs to be rehomed because I will be relocating back to California into a studio apartment and cannot have pets and currently am very busy with my work schedule with no one to help take care of them. He would be the best cat for anyone seeking a loveable and affectionate therapeutic companion.
