Story
Eliza (pronounced Eh-Leez-ah) is a shy, sweet, litter-trained, indoor cat. She is overweight and needs to be with someone who will not over-feed her and help her lose a few pounds. She will wander outside if the door is open, but she comes back in when called. Eliza has been staying with my disabled sister since her original owner abandoned her, but my sister is medically no longer able to care for her. I love cats and would take her in, but we currently have dogs who are not cat-compatable. The fee is just to make sure you're serious about adopting. We will provide her adoptive person with all of her food, bowls, litter, litter boxes, and toys. She is shy, so may hide at first. We do have some vet records, as she visited the vet recently for a check-up.

Story
Tiger is a super affectionate orange tabby that I had since he was 8 weeks old. He loves affection and wished he could be a lap cat but because my son is allergic to cats, he does not get on furniture or laps. He is sweet and gets along very well with our dog who also needs to be rehomed because I will be relocating back to California into a studio apartment and cannot have pets and currently am very busy with my work schedule with no one to help take care of them. He would be the best cat for anyone seeking a loveable and affectionate therapeutic companion.

Story
Saber was a stray cat that showed up at our house. Once we started providing water and food, and outdoor shelter he stayed around the house. After a few months, he started coming indoors. He likes to climb up on screens and has made holes/ tears in just about every window screen. When indoors he play-fights with our younger cat and they have become too agressive with each other. We already have two male cats and it has become too many male cats for this home. Saber is friendly with other cats and dogs and likes to cuddle. His ear has been clipped and we are told that means the stray cat has been neutered. We have not brought him to the vet for shots yet. We would like for him to find another safe home. He does like to catch birds and we are now keeping him indoors.

I adopted Rosie during a time when I needed to feel loved. She is the most affectionate cat I have ever had. Im so sad that I need to part with her. She needs hugs and cuddles and loves to play games. She is a lap cat! All she wants is to love . She is patient with small children and other animals. She is very sweet and loves to talk to you!

Story
Asher is allittle shy but very friendly. Unfortunately when we adopted her we had another cat named peanut a calico cat. As the years have gone by we have noticed peanut bullying Asher by isolating her trying to fight her and being territorial. Even though we love them both we have thought hard that Asher should feel comfortable in her own home and deserves to be free of this stress! We are also downsizing and moving out which would cause them to have less space to co- exist.

Story
Meet Kiki, a sweet and loving 7-year-old cat who is looking for her forever home. Kiki was adopted from the SPCA of Wake County and has brought so much joy to her current family. She’s a gentle soul who loves nothing more than being petted and snuggling up close to her owners. Kiki is calm, affectionate, and has a peaceful nature—she doesn’t scratch furniture and enjoys just relaxing in her favorite cozy spots and she loves to watch TV. Although she’s had some challenges with one of the cats in her current home, Kiki has a history of getting along beautifully with both cats and dogs in the past. She’s also fantastic with children, always patient and loving with the little ones who give her lots of attention. Kiki’s family is heartbroken to part with her, but unfortunately, their other cat doesn’t get along with her. This has made it difficult for her to stay in her current home, but they know Kiki deserves a space where she can thrive and be loved just as she deserves.

Story
Millie is the best kitty, she is very attached to her humans. She was rescued after her feral mama was hit by a car 3 days after her birth. She was bottle with her 5 siblings, all have been adopted except for her. She is a beautiful muted tortoise shell and very petite. She is such a pretty  girl and so full of love. She gives kisses and lots of snuggles. She is fantastic with children as all she wants to do is play or snuggles She loves everyone she meets and would make a wonderful companion. She was born in June 2024. She has been fully vetted and microchipped.  To apply visit STFFAR.orgMarch 25, 2025, 3:43 pm
