Recently losing her beloved owner who passed away, Lissa needs a patient, cat-savvy home where she can decompress and settle into her new throne. Tammany is a gentle, food-motivated cat who makes his needs known, especially when it comes to mealtime or treats. When he isn’t seeking snacks, he’s a dedicated napper with a calm presence and occasional interest in brief outdoor exploration. He has a chronic issue with one eye that causes persistent tearing; while it affects his appearance, it doesn’t diminish his affectionate nature. He has responded to intermittent eye-drop treatments and will need an adopter who can continue that care. Tammany is litter-box trained and is now looking for a new home because his lifelong owner passed away, leaving him without the person and the dog he lived with for many years. He will need time and a quiet environment to adjust. His experience with children is unknown, as his previous owner was a retiree. Jose is a very lovable cat. He is about 5 y.o. unfortunately due living situation. We need to rehome him. He gets along with people, he's not a fan of the younger kids but deal with them. His is litter box trained. He prefers to not be around dogs but he has been living with dogs. He gets long with cats, at least cats he's been around. I just want him to go to a home he will be happy and thrive in. I don't feel like he gets the attention he needs her. With such young kids.

She can be timid but is also a cuddler!

There are no surprises with our black and white boy Rio; just like his can't-be-missed coat, he has a huge personality, too! This sweet boy loves to help (supervise?) around our facility; he is always nearby to help you with whatever you are doing, or to encourage you to take a break and give him a snuggle or three. He is mischievous and full of fun, but is always happy to spend time cuddling with you! Rio is just over a year old, and has had surgery on his left eye (we aren't sure if he had an old injury or untreated infection, but he is 100% able to find you, whether it's time to have fun or a snuggle!) Rio was too sweet to stay a TNR; we know someone will be able to match the love he has to give! In addition, Rio has also: -Tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV; -Is neutered; -Is vaccinated; -Has been treated for fleas and worms; and -Had a negative fecal test. -The balance of his vaccinations are included in our adoption plan.
