Sophia – The Gentle, Affectionate Young Mama Sophia has already done something remarkable — she raised a beautiful litter of kittens — and she’s still just a kitten herself at only about 9 months old. Back in October of 2025, a kind woman rescued Sophia along with her babies and gave them a safe place to land. She cared for this little family until reaching out to Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR, trusting us to find them the homes they deserve. Sophia took motherhood seriously. She was attentive, patient, and completely devoted to her little ones. Now that her kittens are growing up, it’s finally her turn. Despite everything she’s been through at such a young age, Sophia is incredibly affectionate. She leans into your hand for pets, enjoys staying close, and would be perfectly happy curling up next to you at the end of the day. She has a calm, gentle way about her — not demanding, just quietly loving. It’s easy to forget she’s only about 9 months old because she carries herself with such sweetness and maturity. But she still has that young-cat spark and deserves the chance to grow up in a home where she can just be someone’s cherished girl. Pumpkin didn’t leave his home. His home left him. This sweet boy waited months outside a door… hoping someone would remember he belonged inside. Welcome to Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR, handsome sweet Pumpkin. 🧡 Last June, a woman moved into an apartment and soon noticed a cat lingering around her doorstep. She later learned that Pumpkin had once lived there with the previous tenants. When the couple broke up, Pumpkin’s mom couldn’t take him with her and the boyfriend simply didn’t care. When he moved out, Pumpkin was put outside and left behind. The woman who contacted us said that for months Pumpkin slept on her doorstep, trying to get inside whenever the door opened. She wished she could bring him in, but she couldn’t. Eventually Pumpkin stopped trying and made a “home” in a shed behind the apartment complex. Four walls and food left out for him, but no warmth, no soft bed, and no love. The frigid winter temperatures even left his ears with frostbite. Several rescues were contacted, but everyone was full — including us. Still, we knew we couldn’t turn a blind eye. Now Pumpkin is safe with Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR, and this sweet, handsome boy is finally getting the care he has waited so long for. This is the beginning of a new chapter for him. Now our job is simple — to bring the spark back into those eyes and find the family who will never leave him behind again. 🧡🐾

5/20/25 Trixie is brand new to the adoption floor — these photos were taken just a couple of hours after she moved into her cozy new room. She's a little shy right now, but you can already see her curiosity peeking through as she starts to explore her new surroundings. At about 2.5 (DOB 10/1/22) years old, she’s a bashful girl who just needs a little time and patience to fully blossom. She does well with other cats and would love a friendly feline companion. Trixie is also working on growing back her soft coat after some stress-related overgrooming before she came to us — but with a little love, she’s already on the mend.
