Our female cat was adopted as a kitten by our son when he was in college. He ended up moving across the country and we ended up having her for the past 4 years. It's just my husband and I and she has been very spoiled. She is an indoor cat but loves to wander around our backyard when the weather allows. She is used to a quiet house and shy's away from children or lots of noise. She has never been around other animals, so we do not know how well she would do. She is a brown tabby and is almost 8 years old. We will be relocating and cannot take her with us. She would be perfect for a quiet home and with an adult or adults who enjoy a quiet companion.

Loving, affectionate tabby. I am looking for a more suitable home for him. He is 8. He'd love a female companion since he was once bonded to one. He does not like male cats in his area. Indoors mostly but enjoys going out too. If you work from home, that would be good because he likes his human. My circumstances have changed.

Hi - I am looking to rehome our 3 or 4 year old cat, Opal. She is a cat that I had rescued over a year ago - found underweight outside heading into the winter season. Since then, she has been fully evaluated and is up-to-date with the veterinarian. She is on Bravecto. She is very passive and sweet (very much a lap cat), and really enjoys human interaction (petting, play). Other pets cause her stress, so I would not be comfortable rehoming her to a home that already has cats or dogs. My wife and I are planning to move in the upcoming months and sadly cannot take her with us. It would make me incredibly happy to know she is going to a loving home. There is no rehoming fee, and I am happy to include most of the apparatus needed (litter box, food bowls, a few toys, etc.) - as well as planning to re-dose her Bravecto in the next few weeks if wished (good for 3 months).

I’m available for adoption and will be ready to go home once I get spayed/neutered! Come out to Greenhill Humane Society to meet me! Do you like other cats? I should do well with another cat after a slow introduction period! What do you think about living with a dog? I would probably be able to adjust to living with a cat savvy dog after a slow introduction period. How do you feel about kids? I am very shy; kids can be a bit scary to me (loud noises/fast movements are very scary to me)! I need to go to an adult only home.What`s your ideal home like? I am looking someone that has experience with shy/undersocialized cats and that will be understanding that I am shy and will need more time than a typical kitten to adjust to my new home! A calm quiet household would be best for me with no children. Since I am a kitten I have lots of energy and will require lots of play time! It would also be ideal if there was another kitten or young playful cat in the home to insure that I learn appropriate cat manners! Is there anything else we should know about you? I`m a very cute kitten! I must go to a home with active/healthy adults who will be able to get down on the floor with me multiple times a day.
