We are searching for a very special home for Punkin, a sweet FIV-positive kitty who deserves the chance to finally relax and feel safe in a real home environment. Punkin is a gentle, quiet girl who would do best as the only cat in the home, or possibly with another calm FIV-positive cat. She is not aggressive in any way and is definitely not a fighter. Right now, Punkin spends most of her time in a large three-story kennel. Before that, she lived in her own room with another FIV+ cat. She eats well, keeps herself clean, and is healthy overall, but she is shy and withdrawn, and we know she would be much happier with someone patient and kind who could give her a peaceful home and allow her to come out of her shell at her own pace. For those unfamiliar with FIV: it is not spread through food bowls, water bowls, grooming or casual contact. It is generally transmitted only through deep bite wounds from serious fighting, and Punkin has never been that type of cat. Texas loves to be outside, so it is important the home she goes to allows her that freedom. In fact, we do not need a litter box for her. She is very vocal. She likes to socialize and talk with neighbors. She gets along with dogs better than other cats. She tolerates other cats. She is great with kids. She was a rescue cat, so I'm not sure how old she actually is. I think about 8.

Hi - I am looking to rehome our 3 or 4 year old cat, Opal. She is a cat that I had rescued over a year ago - found underweight outside heading into the winter season. Since then, she has been fully evaluated and is up-to-date with the veterinarian. She is on Bravecto. She is very passive and sweet (very much a lap cat), and really enjoys human interaction (petting, play). Other pets cause her stress, so I would not be comfortable rehoming her to a home that already has cats or dogs. My wife and I are planning to move in the upcoming months and sadly cannot take her with us. It would make me incredibly happy to know she is going to a loving home. There is no rehoming fee, and I am happy to include most of the apparatus needed (litter box, food bowls, a few toys, etc.) - as well as planning to re-dose her Bravecto in the next few weeks if wished (good for 3 months).

Scraggles was found as a baby near a dumpster and was brought into our home where we took great care of him. Unfortunately we are unable to take care of him as we wish we could and would like to find him a great loving home.

  Bellatrix is a fun loving little girl! She is super cuddly, loves to snuggle under blankets, and is very affectionate. She still has a ton of kitten energy when she plays so there is never a dull moment. One of her favorite things is to try to steal napkins and use them like a soccer ball. She loves toys of all kinds! Especially if it makes noise. If she isn't playing with a toy she is usually right behind her brother Salazar trying to cause mischief. She does listen well when you tell her no or off. There is not much that scares her, she gets along well with high energy small and large dogs. She is also really good at listening to the older cats in the house when they have had enough of her antics. She does really well with her litter box but does like it nice and clean. She loves her food and will let you know if the bowl is getting low or it's time for dinner. ##2001599##

Eeyore can be such a sweet and loving boy that just needs a little extra help. He loves to greet people at the door, gives high fives, and what I can only best describe as a dolphin jump for pets. He really enjoys cuddling up on a lap for some pets, hanging out in the window watching birds, and finding a good sunspot to soak up the last but of sunshine Oregon has left. He has started to become a vocal player especially when it comes to his spring toys, he loves to prance through the house letting everyone know he captured his pray. He gets along well with most cats but will need an adjustment period. He loves dogs and will try to wrestle and chase both large and small dogs.   Eeyore came to us at around 2.5 weeks old unable to move or feel his hind legs, and no bladder or bowel control. He was rushed to the vet where they found evidence of a previous fracture in his leg that was almost healed as well as nerve damage. With the help of physical therapy, he has movement of his legs now, though it's not the most traditional way of movement but it does not slow him down one bit. He uses his hind legs as if they were skis, he just scoots them along with him. He still needs help with the bathroom, Eeyore wears a diaper during the day, gets his bladder and bowels expressed around 3 times a day or as needed.   ##2034091##

This sweet and adorable Manx boy is an independent lover! He has a lot of playful energy, but has manners and stays off the counters! He loves sunbathing and cat tunnels, and he has his favorite emotional-support crayon plushie. He gets along great with other cats, and his sweet personality means that he respects boundaries with other animals. While he does not prefer to be picked up, he is okay with it and won't fuss. He does love back and belly rubs, though! He has gorgeous markings, and his unique coat matches his unique personality! He will be an amazing part of your family. Hurry out to meet him! Chili is a Manx and was born with Manx syndrome. This does not stop him, though! He has the cutest little run, and while he cannot jump up onto the bed or onto a cat tree, he still finds ways to play and have fun! He previously had megacolon as a kitten, but through diligent care, he has seemingly outgrown it. It is something to watch for, however. Fresh water is his friend!  Don't let his small extra needs deter you from this boy! He is such an amazing soul. ##2144536##
