We are searching for a very special home for Punkin, a sweet FIV-positive kitty who deserves the chance to finally relax and feel safe in a real home environment. Punkin is a gentle, quiet girl who would do best as the only cat in the home, or possibly with another calm FIV-positive cat. She is not aggressive in any way and is definitely not a fighter. Right now, Punkin spends most of her time in a large three-story kennel. Before that, she lived in her own room with another FIV+ cat. She eats well, keeps herself clean, and is healthy overall, but she is shy and withdrawn, and we know she would be much happier with someone patient and kind who could give her a peaceful home and allow her to come out of her shell at her own pace. For those unfamiliar with FIV: it is not spread through food bowls, water bowls, grooming or casual contact. It is generally transmitted only through deep bite wounds from serious fighting, and Punkin has never been that type of cat. Hi - I am looking to rehome our 3 or 4 year old cat, Opal. She is a cat that I had rescued over a year ago - found underweight outside heading into the winter season. Since then, she has been fully evaluated and is up-to-date with the veterinarian. She is on Bravecto. She is very passive and sweet (very much a lap cat), and really enjoys human interaction (petting, play). Other pets cause her stress, so I would not be comfortable rehoming her to a home that already has cats or dogs. My wife and I are planning to move in the upcoming months and sadly cannot take her with us. It would make me incredibly happy to know she is going to a loving home. There is no rehoming fee, and I am happy to include most of the apparatus needed (litter box, food bowls, a few toys, etc.) - as well as planning to re-dose her Bravecto in the next few weeks if wished (good for 3 months).

She likes to socialize and talk with neighbors. She gets along with dogs better than other cats. She tolerates other cats. She is great with kids. She was a rescue cat, so I'm not sure how old she actually is. I think about 8.

He showed up on my back porch in November 2025, emaciated and with an injured eye. He was frightened and traumatized from living rough, but clearly had been socialized with people before and wanted human attention. I took him to the vet, found he was neutered but not chipped. I looked for an owner but could not find one, so I decided to keep him. He loves to cuddle on my lap while I work at the computer and he is playful and clever. I tried for several months to heal the eye injury, but ultimately the eye needed to be removed. I then started calling him Pirate Roberts because he has one eye and a previously scared ear. He has gained weight, is healthy and happy, but I have not been able to introduce him successfully to my other, pre-existing cat. He attacked her again this week, so now I am looking to re-home him. I believe he should be in a one cat home and be an indoor only cat.

Bonded pair of male 1 year old cats. Super sweet! Love to be outside and inside. They use the litter box and scratching post. They were recently at the vet, are in good health, and received all one year old vaccinations, including rabies. They are chipped and neutered as well. Our kids are gone and as traveling empty nesters, we just don’t think we’re giving them the attention they deserve.
