Story
Sapphire is a beautiful 2-year-old indoor cat looking for her forever home. She has a playful personality and loves spending time exploring, playing, and relaxing. While she's independent, she also enjoys cuddling with the special person she chooses to bond with. Once you've earned her trust, she's a wonderful companion. Sapphire gets along well with other cats and is also comfortable around dogs, making her a great addition to a multi-pet household. Making the decision to rehome her has been incredibly difficult, so we're looking for a loving, permanent home where she'll be cherished. If you think Sapphire might be the perfect fit for your family—or know someone who is looking to adopt—please reach out. We'd love to find her the home she deserves.

Story
Coral is about 4 years old. We are unable to keep her due to our financial situation and not being able to keep up with her needs. She needs to go to someone who is able to afford to treat her for fleas and take her to the vet. She has some skin issues, she has sensitive skin so due to her itching so bad from fleas she has scabs on her skin. She is very loving but can be extremely needy and she loves constant attention. If you are someone who can provide the care that she needs as well as lots of time and attention, she may be the right cat for you!

Story
Chanel is very affectionate and playful. She sits on your lap, comes when you call, loves playing games with you. She loves being chased. You can pick her up, roll her around, rub her belly, and she will never swipe. She allows baths, being brushed and having her nails cut. Great with kids. Chanel is litter-trained, will also go outside. She has only ever used the wood pellets. Traveled with her internationally and she did fine. When my baby nephew comes to visit, he will grab her fur or pat her head, and she just takes it and wanders around following him everywhere. Korean Shorthairs have personalities that are curious and high-energy and love people. Talkative, like a Siamese. Needs a home that has plenty of space, a family who does not mind her making noise. I socialized her well since she was a kitten. Chanel is really unlike any other cat I have met. She's the absolute sweetest. Cuddly, energetic and clever. I made an IG with some photos and videos of her @chaneltheluxurycat.

Emily's StoryEmily: Professional Toy Inspector & Full-Time Purr MachineLooking for tiny roommates who pay rent in purrs, entertainment, and unconditional love? Meet Emily and her mom Phyllis! Emily is a kitten on an important mission: chase every toy, investigate every cardboard box, and make sure no shoelace goes un-pounced. She's equal parts explorer, comedian, and cuddle bug.Feather wand, string, or laser, she will happily chase it! And if you let her win, she will walk away dragging the toy with her like she has won a prize at the carnival. It's adorable! When she's not zooming around the house like she's training for the Kitten Olympics, Emily is happy to curl up beside you with Phyllis for a well-earned nap. She has a gentle, affectionate personality and loves earning pets once she's gotten to know you. Her motor starts purring with just a little love.Emily believes every home should include: At least one sunny window for bird watching.Toys that mysteriously disappear under the couch.A human who appreciates surprise cuddle sessions. Her Mama Phyllis She's litter box trained, up to date on age-appropriate veterinary care, and ready to supervise all your daily activities—from making the bed to folding laundry (she'll "help," whether you ask or not).If your home is missing rumbling purrs, and a healthy dose of adorable chaos, Emily and Phyllis are ready to clock in.

Story
Stripes is in the house! I am about 4 years old. I love my friend Patches! It has been Patches and Stripes for as long as I can remember. It would be great if we could be adopted together. However, since we have been looking for a forever home for a long time now (more than 2 years!), Patches and I have made the tough decision that we can be adopted to separate homes. We are hoping that this, plus our adoption fees being waived thanks to generous sponsors, will increase our chances of success. I am looking for that unique adopter who will love me and take care of me but will not expect a snuggly kitty in return. I am a pseudo scaredy cat. While I still have an instinct to hide when a person walks in the room, now I stop myself and do some stretching. It is very important to stretch before exercising. Also, I am bribable. So, when you want a little attention from me, I will take Churo from your fingers! I would prefer a home with another cat. While another cat in my home can only make life better, and help me come out of my shell, children and dogs are a big ICK. Seriously, cats rule! If you think that you could be that special someone for me, please learn more about me by filling out a no obligation cat adoption application. All of our cats are in foster homes. Please submit an application to start the process today! https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Story
Meet Vincent — a handsome two-year-old brown tabby with a sleek short coat and an easygoing charm. While he may not be ‘flashy’, Vincent more than makes up for it with his expressive eyes and warm, affectionate personality. There is really nothing better than a good ol plain brown tabby. Vincent shares a close bond with his best friend Jules, and the two have come a long way together. Once cared for outdoors by a kind family, they were given the chance at a better life—and Vincent has embraced indoor living like a pro. He’s comfortable, curious, and clearly enjoying all the perks of home life.Vincent can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and loves being part of the action once he feels secure. He’s great with other cats and does well with respectful, mindful children, making him a wonderful addition to a calm, loving home. You may notice Vincent’s unique ear—he has a small ear tip from an old injury, which just adds to his character and tells part of his story. It doesn’t bother him one bit and only makes him more unforgettable.Whether he’s lounging nearby or keeping you company throughout the day, Vincent is a loyal, gentle companion ready to find his forever home—ideally with his best buddy Jules by his side.Fill out a no obligation cat adoption application today at https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Charlie Girl, is one of the friendliest cats we've ever hosted. A little over 2, she is incredibly sweet and one of the first to approach any visitors to the Cat Shed. She came to us through trapping along with her own kittens - survivors due largely to Charlie's amazing job as a mom. All kittens have long been adopted, but despite her pretty self and winning personality, after months, Charlie still hasn't found her people. Please consider giving this sweet cat the loving home she so deserves! She is very unique as in she has 3 common female types, Tuxedo, Tortie and Calico all in one. Sometimes her tortitude shows but mostly she is very friendly and gets along ok with the other cats.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    _______________________________________________________________ MCTNR Adoption Process We do have an application process including a vet reference and written landlord permission if you rent.  Home visit may be required.
