Story
I adopted him from the SPCA when he was young, and he has been a loving part of my life ever since. He is now 13 years old and a very gentle, calm, and affectionate cat. Recently, he was diagnosed with diabetes, and although he is stable on insulin, I can no longer afford the ongoing medical care he needs. I am looking for a new home that can provide him with consistency, patience, and the medical support he deserves. An adopter with experience caring for diabetic cats or someone willing to learn his routine would be ideal. He is sweet, cooperative, quiet, and very loving. He enjoys soft places to nap, being close to his person, and living in a peaceful environment. He still has so much love to give, and I want him to find a home that can meet his needs and cherish his gentle nature.

Story
The boys are 8 years old. I have raised them myself and hope to find a loving home for them soon. They are indoor cats but would love some outdoor time. They like to be greeted and they also like to cuddle with you. They are not declawed but know what it means when you say ouch. They are always together and do this weird twinning thing at times. They are from the same litter from a farm in Jefferson county.

Story
Meet Uncle Rico – The Charismatic Purr Machine! ?? Born in May 2025, Uncle Rico is the life of the party and a total sweetheart! He’s a walking purr machine who loves his food and enjoys being the center of attention. While he’s not the biggest fan of being held, he absolutely adores pets and affection — he just likes to keep things on his own terms. Uncle Rico shares his foster home with Kip and Tina, and the three of them have a blast playing together, especially with the wand toy. They can be adopted separately, as a pair, or—best of all—as a trio if you’re ready for triple the love and fun! If you’re looking for a social, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining companion, Uncle Rico is ready to win your heart (and probably steal your snacks)! Story
Stripes is in the house! I am about 4 years old. I love my friend Patches! It has been Patches and Stripes for as long as I can remember. It would be great if we could be adopted together. However, since we have been looking for a forever home for a long time now (more than 2 years!), Patches and I have made the tough decision that we can be adopted to separate homes. We are hoping that this, plus our adoption fees being waived thanks to generous sponsors, will increase our chances of success. I am looking for that unique adopter who will love me and take care of me but will not expect a snuggly kitty in return. I am a pseudo scaredy cat. While I still have an instinct to hide when a person walks in the room, now I stop myself and do some stretching. It is very important to stretch before exercising. Also, I am bribable. So, when you want a little attention from me, I will take Churo from your fingers! I would prefer a home with another cat. While another cat in my home can only make life better, and help me come out of my shell, children and dogs are a big ICK. Seriously, cats rule! If you think that you could be that special someone for me, please learn more about me by filling out a no obligation cat adoption application. All of our cats are in foster homes. Please submit an application to start the process today! https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Story
Meet Tina – The Sassy Sweetheart! Tina is a beautiful brown tabby with adorable white boots, born in July 2025. She’s currently sharing her foster home with Kip and Uncle Rico, and the three of them get along wonderfully! They love playing together—especially when the wand toy comes out—but they’re not inseparable and can be adopted separately or as a pair (or Trio!). Tina is a lovely mix of independence and affection. She enjoys being held—but on her own terms (typical girl!). When she’s ready for attention, she’s quick to purr and will melt your heart with her charm. If you’re looking for a confident, affectionate kitten who knows what she wants and loves to play, Tina might be your perfect little companion! Sadly looking to rehome my 2 cats. They are from the same liter and have never been separated. They are beyond lovey and energetic. They can be anyone’s best friend in a matter of minutes. Oso more than Odin but that’s only because Odin is a little shy but once he warms up he’ll never leave you alone.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Check out this beauty. Ms Elsie is hanging around waiting for her forever home.  She is a petite girl but a strong personality.   A talker when she is ready to eat and likes to touch our leg to get our attention.   Elsie is up to date on shots and has been micro chipped.   She prefers a less active home so she would be happy with adults or another cat to play with.  Come meet her and fall in love.  Mountaincatstnr.comVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    _______________________________________________________________ MCTNR Adoption Process We do have an application process including a vet reference and written landlord permission if you rent.  Home visit may be required.
