Story
The boys are 8 years old. I have raised them myself and hope to find a loving home for them soon. They are indoor cats but would love some outdoor time. They like to be greeted and they also like to cuddle with you. They are not declawed but know what it means when you say ouch. They are always together and do this weird twinning thing at times. They are from the same litter from a farm in Jefferson county.

Story
Chanel is very affectionate and playful. She sits on your lap, comes when you call, loves playing games with you. She loves being chased. You can pick her up, roll her around, rub her belly, and she will never swipe. She allows baths, being brushed and having her nails cut. Great with kids. Chanel is litter-trained, will also go outside. She has only ever used the wood pellets. Traveled with her internationally and she did fine. When my baby nephew comes to visit, he will grab her fur or pat her head, and she just takes it and wanders around following him everywhere. Korean Shorthairs have personalities that are curious and high-energy and love people. Talkative, like a Siamese. Needs a home that has plenty of space, a family who does not mind her making noise. I socialized her well since she was a kitten. Chanel is really unlike any other cat I have met. She's the absolute sweetest. Cuddly, energetic and clever.

Story
Meet Uncle Rico – The Charismatic Purr Machine! ?? Born in May 2025, Uncle Rico is the life of the party and a total sweetheart! He’s a walking purr machine who loves his food and enjoys being the center of attention. While he’s not the biggest fan of being held, he absolutely adores pets and affection — he just likes to keep things on his own terms. Uncle Rico shares his foster home with Kip and Tina, and the three of them have a blast playing together, especially with the wand toy. They can be adopted separately, as a pair, or—best of all—as a trio if you’re ready for triple the love and fun! If you’re looking for a social, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining companion, Uncle Rico is ready to win your heart (and probably steal your snacks)! Story
Stripes is in the house! I am about 4 years old. I love my friend Patches! It has been Patches and Stripes for as long as I can remember. It would be great if we could be adopted together. However, since we have been looking for a forever home for a long time now (more than 2 years!), Patches and I have made the tough decision that we can be adopted to separate homes. We are hoping that this, plus our adoption fees being waived thanks to generous sponsors, will increase our chances of success. I am looking for that unique adopter who will love me and take care of me but will not expect a snuggly kitty in return. I am a pseudo scaredy cat. While I still have an instinct to hide when a person walks in the room, now I stop myself and do some stretching. It is very important to stretch before exercising. Also, I am bribable. So, when you want a little attention from me, I will take Churo from your fingers! I would prefer a home with another cat. While another cat in my home can only make life better, and help me come out of my shell, children and dogs are a big ICK. Seriously, cats rule! If you think that you could be that special someone for me, please learn more about me by filling out a no obligation cat adoption application. All of our cats are in foster homes. Please submit an application to start the process today! https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Meet Tina – The Sassy Sweetheart! Tina is a beautiful brown tabby with adorable white boots, born in July 2025. She’s currently sharing her foster home with Kip and Uncle Rico, and the three of them get along wonderfully! They love playing together—especially when the wand toy comes out—but they’re not inseparable and can be adopted separately or as a pair (or Trio!). Tina is a lovely mix of independence and affection. She enjoys being held—but on her own terms (typical girl!). When she’s ready for attention, she’s quick to purr and will melt your heart with her charm. If you’re looking for a confident, affectionate kitten who knows what she wants and loves to play, Tina might be your perfect little companion! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sweet Gabby came in from a TNR location. She had a serious eye issue with both eyes. We decided to keep her, try to save her eyes. She was so friendly and deserved a new place to land. After multiple vet visits and many attempts, one eye just never improved. It needs nothing done but she is blind in the one eye. Thankfully the other eye responded well with the medicine and is she is doing great.  She has seriously the most dense soft fur, she does shed a little but makes up for it all with her loving personality. She gets feisty at times and bites (not hard or in a mean way, just her way of playing) For this reason, she would do well in a home with older children who will understand her actions. She is ready to move on to her forever family, we know she will do fabulous.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    _______________________________________________________________ MCTNR Adoption Process We do have an application process including a vet reference and written landlord permission if you rent.  Home visit may be required. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Charlie Girl, is one of the friendliest cats we've ever hosted. A little over 2, she is incredibly sweet and one of the first to approach any visitors to the Cat Shed. She came to us through trapping along with her own kittens - survivors due largely to Charlie's amazing job as a mom. All kittens have long been adopted, but despite her pretty self and winning personality, after months, Charlie still hasn't found her people. Please consider giving this sweet cat the loving home she so deserves! She is very unique as in she has 3 common female types, Tuxedo, Tortie and Calico all in one. Sometimes her tortitude shows but mostly she is very friendly and gets along ok with the other cats.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    _______________________________________________________________ MCTNR Adoption Process We do have an application process including a vet reference and written landlord permission if you rent.  Home visit may be required. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cyrus came in from a TNR location. He needed desperate help and care of his missing eye. After many months of antibiotics and attempts to close his eye area, he is finally on the mend and ready to meet his potential family. Cyrus is very attentive and will follow you around like a dog. He likes to have a space of his own to feel safe. He does not mind being crated. Good with other cats and ok with cat friendly dogs. He may need time to warm up to a new person (s) He is missing one eye but that doesn't stop him from playing and being a normal cat.      Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.    _______________________________________________________________ MCTNR Adoption Process We do have an application process including a vet reference and written landlord permission if you rent.  Home visit may be required.
