Meet Russ – Your Future Cuddle Buddy! 🐾❤️ Russ is a gentle, loving, and curious cat who would make a wonderful addition to a family, especially one with children. He is incredibly patient with little ones and is very understanding when spoken to. He loves his morning cuddles and enjoys being close to the people he trusts. Russ has a few simple preferences: he loves having access to his food and prefers an open litter box rather than a covered one. While he may greet you outside out of curiosity, Russ is an indoor cat who prefers the comfort and safety of home. If the door is open, he happily comes right back inside. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate companion who loves cuddles, is gentle with kids, and has a curious little personality, Russ might be the perfect addition to your family. He has so much love to give and is ready to find his forever home!

Big neurotic teddy bear. He is great with other cats once he's been properly introduced. We picked this guy up in Frederick about 7+ years ago; the sign said he was 2 years old but we suspect he was older then. He loves head rubs and will come to you for them if you lower the back of your hand -- he'll come up and rub on your hand. Despite his size he's not an over-eater; we typically feed our cats once per day with the occasional wet food treat and they do fine. He was twice introduced to pairs of kittens that grew up with him as their big old grandpa cat and he cuddled with them like best buds.

Stripes is in the house! I am about 4 years old. I love my friend Patches! It has been Patches and Stripes for as long as I can remember. It would be great if we could be adopted together. However, since we have been looking for a forever home for a long time now (more than 2 years!), Patches and I have made the tough decision that we can be adopted to separate homes. We are hoping that this, plus our adoption fees being waived thanks to generous sponsors, will increase our chances of success. I am looking for that unique adopter who will love me and take care of me but will not expect a snuggly kitty in return. I am a pseudo scaredy cat. While I still have an instinct to hide when a person walks in the room, now I stop myself and do some stretching. It is very important to stretch before exercising. Also, I am bribable. So, when you want a little attention from me, I will take Churo from your fingers! I would prefer a home with another cat. While another cat in my home can only make life better, and help me come out of my shell, children and dogs are a big ICK. Seriously, cats rule! If you think that you could be that special someone for me, please learn more about me by filling out a no obligation cat adoption application. All of our cats are in foster homes. Please submit an application to start the process today! https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Meet Jester: The King of Pets and Wet Food! Jester is a 7-year-old handsome gentleman with a big personality and an even bigger love for people. If you're looking for a cat who wants to be involved in everything you do, Jester is your guy. He adores human attention, demands pets on a regular basis, and will happily rub against your legs to remind you that he should be the center of your world. Don't let his age fool you. Jester still gets the occasional burst of energy and is known to tear through the house with impressive zoomies before settling back down for more affection. While toys are fine, he'd much rather spend his time with his favorite humans. Speaking of favorites, Jester's true love language is wet food. Need to make a new best friend? Crack open a can. He would do just about anything for a tasty wet food meal. Jester would do best in a home without young children. He prefers a calmer environment where he can enjoy attention on his own terms and be the beloved companion he was born to be. One more thing: if you're looking for a cat who enjoys brushing sessions, keep looking. Let's just say that brushing is not on Jester’s list of favorite activities. If you're ready for a loving, affectionate cat with plenty of character, a passion for snacks, and a talent for making every day more entertaining, Jester is waiting to meet you. 🐾❤️ Fill out a no-obligation cat adoption application today at humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/
