Story
Chanel is very affectionate and playful. She sits on your lap, comes when you call, loves playing games with you. She loves being chased. You can pick her up, roll her around, rub her belly, and she will never swipe. She allows baths, being brushed and having her nails cut. Great with kids. Chanel is litter-trained, will also go outside. She has only ever used the wood pellets. Traveled with her internationally and she did fine. When my baby nephew comes to visit, he will grab her fur or pat her head, and she just takes it and wanders around following him everywhere. Korean Shorthairs have personalities that are curious and high-energy and love people. Talkative, like a Siamese. Needs a home that has plenty of space, a family who does not mind her making noise. I socialized her well since she was a kitten. Chanel is really unlike any other cat I have met. She's the absolute sweetest. Cuddly, energetic and clever. I made an IG with some photos and videos of her @chaneltheluxurycat.

Found Apollo and Nix abandoned when they were kittens and took them both in. They are 13 and very relaxed and calm cats. Unfortunately I’m moving and won’t be able to take them with me. Apollo has on and off UTIs because of his older age.

Story
I found Nix and my other cat, Apollo, abandoned as kittens and adopted them. They are older and Apollo has on and off UTIs while Nix doesn’t have any problems. They are calm and relaxed. They are around 13 years old, unfortunately I am moving and unable to take them. I’m looking for an owner that will provide a nice place for them, feed them, and change litter. They don’t require much maintenance.

Story
Stripes is in the house! I am about 4 years old. I love my friend Patches! It has been Patches and Stripes for as long as I can remember. It would be great if we could be adopted together. However, since we have been looking for a forever home for a long time now (more than 2 years!), Patches and I have made the tough decision that we can be adopted to separate homes. We are hoping that this, plus our adoption fees being waived thanks to generous sponsors, will increase our chances of success. I am looking for that unique adopter who will love me and take care of me but will not expect a snuggly kitty in return. I am a pseudo scaredy cat. While I still have an instinct to hide when a person walks in the room, now I stop myself and do some stretching. It is very important to stretch before exercising. Also, I am bribable. So, when you want a little attention from me, I will take Churo from your fingers! I would prefer a home with another cat. While another cat in my home can only make life better, and help me come out of my shell, children and dogs are a big ICK. Seriously, cats rule! If you think that you could be that special someone for me, please learn more about me by filling out a no obligation cat adoption application. All of our cats are in foster homes. Please submit an application to start the process today! https://humaneloudoun.org/adopt/cat-adoption-application/

Story
The only thing better than one brown tabby is TWO —Meet Vincent and Jules, a handsome two-year-old brown tabby duo with sleek short coats and an easygoing charm. They both have very expressive eyes and a warm, affectionate personality. Vincent shares a close bond with his best friend Jules, and the two have come a long way together. Once cared for outdoors by a kind family, they were given the chance at a better life—and V and J have embraced indoor living like a pro. They are both comfortable, curious, and clearly enjoying all the perks of home life. Vincent can be a little reserved when meeting new people, but he warms up quickly and loves being part of the action once he feels secure. He's great with other cats and does well with respectful, mindful children, making him a wonderful addition to a calm, loving home. You may notice Vincents unique ear—he has a small ear tip from an old injury, which just adds to his character and tells part of his story. It doesn't bother him one bit and only makes him more unforgettable. Now for Jules- he has a confident, outgoing personality and a heart full of charm! This handsome guy is a delight wherever he goes and isnt shy about making himself part of the action. Confident and curious, Jules does well with cat-savvy kids who understand how to respectfully engage with a spirited, social kitty like him! Brown tabbies are just the BEST. Everyone should have a pair! Throughout August 2026, as part of Clear the Shelters, and thanks to generous sponsors, the adoption fees for Vincent and Jules are waived. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Aptly named for his ursine-looking face, Grizzly is a friendly, affectionate kitty who loves to hop up on laps for a little lovin'. His other favorite activity is playing with wand toys. 😺 He came from a home with another cat and a small dog, both of which he got along well with. Though we can never make guarantees, this indicates he may do well with another cat or a cat-friendly dog. When Grizzly was relinquished by his previous owner, he had bladder stones (a serious and painful condition), which were dissolved by feeding him a prescription urinary diet. He will need to be on this diet for life to ensure no new stones develop. Grizzly is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and FeLV/FIV negative.

Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Storm is a sweet boy who will purr when you pet him and likes to snuggle with his people in bed or on their lap – though as his current mom says, “it has to be his idea.” ;-) Though he may take your heart by storm, this handsome guy is relatively quiet and has an independent side. He enjoys fishing pole type cat toys as well as any toys that move on their own, but he is also happy to entertain himself with paper bags and empty boxes. He seems to enjoy being picked up by his people. Though he has never lived with other animals, Storm used to play chase games with a neighbor’s cat-friendly black lab. Storm occasionally likes to go outside but has also been content as an indoor kitty (e.g., when he recently crashed at his “aunt’s” home). We suspect that he would be happy as an indoor-only cat, but if his adopter were able to provide supervised outdoor time (e.g., on harness and leash) or a catio, he would likely appreciate that. He is shy with unfamiliar people so may need a little extra time to adjust to a new home. Sorm is about 9 years old (a Pisces! born March 16th), neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He has always had perfect litter box habits. Storm’s mom is looking for a new home for this sweet guy because due to a series of major life changes, she has had to move in, for the foreseeable future, with a family member who cannot have another cat in her home. We (FFOCAS) are helping her safely rehome him. Interested? Please reach out via email (ffocas4pets@gmail.com). We’ll ask you to fill out a rehoming application to keep this process as safe as possible for everyone – especially Storm!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Handsome, 3-year-old Finn is an outgoing, smart, somewhat impish boy. He greets everyone with his tail straight in the air, enjoys daily training sessions with his foster mom (he can give a high five and go to his mat on cue), and throws himself into playtime with kittenish abandon. But Finn was probably mishandled before being rescued and is still learning that he can trust people not to handle him in ways he finds unpleasant. Because of this, Finn needs a quiet adult-only home with a patient adopter who will take the time and effort to earn his trust. Finn is neutered, vaccinated and FeLV/FIV negative.
