Story
URGENTLY seeking a home! Chanel is very affectionate and playful. She sits on your lap, comes when you call, loves playing games with you. She loves being chased. You can pick her up, roll her around, rub her belly, and she will never swipe. She allows baths, being brushed and having her nails cut. Great with kids. Chanel is litter-trained, will also go outside. Traveled with her internationally and she did fine. Curious and high-energy and loves people. Talkative, like a Siamese. Needs a home that has plenty of space, a family who does not mind her making noise. I socialized her well since she was a kitten. Chanel is really unlike any other cat I have met. She's the absolute sweetest. Cuddly, energetic and clever. I made an IG with some photos and videos of her @chaneltheluxurycat.

Story
Ramen was born in early-to-mid April 2026 and is a gray swirl tabby female with barely visible stripes. Ramen is a true sweetheart and cuddlebug. Her favorite spot to nap is on top of you, preferably on your chest. She doesn’t mind if you move her, as long as she can curl right back up on you. Her tiny body conceals her very confident personality. She is fascinated by keyboards and an avid watcher of television.  She would very much like a friend to cuddle with when you aren’t around, either her sister Ziti or another feline companion. Preferably someone small who won’t be too rough with her.  Ramen enjoys her food but doesn’t seem to be crazy about crunchy cat treats.  She is a fan of the squeeze up treats, ham and eggs. To  adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Story
Macaroni was born early-to-mid april 2026 and is a large brown tabby male. Macaroni can be a bit timid at first but warms up quickly and is the absolute sweetest.  He enjoys playtime, meal time, and cuddle time. He is often part of the feline pile ups on someone's lap and enjoys sleeping on the bed with his humans, wherever there is an open space.  He is very laid back and happy to go with the flow, whether waiting happily for pets or being moved to a different nap spot. Macaroni does not seem to enjoy being alone in a room and would appreciate a full time companion. He would be happy to go home with his brother Linguine, or make a potential new friend in the form of any furry companions you may already have, preferably a fellow feline.    To  adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Story
Ziti is a tiny brown female tabby born early to mid April 2026 and is absolutely full of love. She is equally happy following you around the house or watching you from a window seat. She loves being petted and sitting on your lap.  She is very courageous and quick to greet new potential friends. Ziti would prefer not to be alone for very long, so a friend is important. She would be happy living with her sister Ramen, or making a new friend. She would prefer a smaller animal who will not be too rough with her. She is the best hunter of her litter, and wants a human (or humans) who will make sure to play with her. She also loves to climb and jump, so vertical space would be great (cat tree or other surfaces).  Ziti enjoys food but has a smaller appetite than her litter mates.   To  adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Story
Orzo is a black and brown swirl tabby male born in early to mid April 2026. Orzo is a ball of love and has a big personality. He likes to play and he likes to hide the toys. He likes to eat and will growl to let his siblings know to stay away from his dish even when no one is near him. He also loves cuddling and will bump your hand with his head to request you pet him. Orzo doesn’t seem to mind being on his own, and might like to have all the food, toys, and attention to himself. He might also do well with a new friend, one who is bigger and/or older than him, and won’t let themselves be pushed around or bullied. He may even be open to a canine companion.  To  adopt you must first complete an adoption application and meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Aptly named for his ursine-looking face, Grizzly is a friendly, affectionate kitty who loves to hop up on laps for a little lovin'. His other favorite activity is playing with wand toys. 😺 He came from a home with another cat and a small dog, both of which he got along well with. Though we can never make guarantees, this indicates he may do well with another cat or a cat-friendly dog. When Grizzly was relinquished by his previous owner, he had bladder stones (a serious and painful condition), which were dissolved by feeding him a prescription urinary diet. He will need to be on this diet for life to ensure no new stones develop. Grizzly is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and FeLV/FIV negative.

Story
Storm is a sweet boy who will purr when you pet him and likes to snuggle with his people in bed or on their lap – though as his current mom says, “it has to be his idea.” ;-) Though he may take your heart by storm, this handsome guy is relatively quiet and has an independent side. He enjoys fishing pole type cat toys as well as any toys that move on their own, but he is also happy to entertain himself with paper bags and empty boxes. He seems to enjoy being picked up by his people. Though he has never lived with other animals, Storm used to play chase games with a neighbor’s cat-friendly black lab. Storm occasionally likes to go outside but has also been content as an indoor kitty (e.g., when he recently crashed at his “aunt’s” home). We suspect that he would be happy as an indoor-only cat, but if his adopter were able to provide supervised outdoor time (e.g., on harness and leash) or a catio, he would likely appreciate that. He is shy with unfamiliar people so may need a little extra time to adjust to a new home. Sorm is about 9 years old (a Pisces! born March 16th), neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He has always had perfect litter box habits. Storm’s mom is looking for a new home for this sweet guy because due to a series of major life changes, she has had to move in, for the foreseeable future, with a family member who cannot have another cat in her home. We (FFOCAS) are helping her safely rehome him. Interested? Please reach out via email (ffocas4pets@gmail.com). We’ll ask you to fill out a rehoming application to keep this process as safe as possible for everyone – especially Storm!

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Handsome, 3-year-old Finn is an outgoing, smart, somewhat impish boy. He greets everyone with his tail straight in the air, enjoys daily training sessions with his foster mom (he can give a high five and go to his mat on cue), and throws himself into playtime with kittenish abandon. But Finn was probably mishandled before being rescued and is still learning that he can trust people not to handle him in ways he finds unpleasant. Because of this, Finn needs a quiet adult-only home with a patient adopter who will take the time and effort to earn his trust. Finn is neutered, vaccinated and FeLV/FIV negative.
