Story
Rascal is a sweet, almost 9-year-old cat (summer baby) who came from a rescued litter found in a local park. He’s been an amazing family pet and this decision is incredibly difficult for us. Rascal is very laid-back, enjoys being pet, and will snuggle on his terms. He plays occasionally but mostly loves a calm, cozy environment. After a move with my son, Rascal experienced stress that led to a bladder issue, which was treated by a vet. He is currently healthy and up to date on care. Recently, he has started occasionally pooping outside the litter box, which we believe is stress-related. Rascal is not a fan of dogs (at least not our high energy dog), and we feel he would do best in a quiet home as the only pet. We’re hoping to find him a stable environment where he can feel comfortable and thrive. He truly is a wonderful cat and deserves the right home.

Story
My name is Tobias and was born on a farm in northern Illinois. My human mom adopted me as a 12 week old and I’ve been living the quiet life ever since. I played often with the grandchildren, but now they are grown and flown. I enjoy lounging in the sun and exploring the outdoors after twilight. My “mom” is moving to assisted living and I’m not able to join her. I prefer to be your only pet, as I have never had other animal friends. I’m easy to please & promise to behave. I am a gentleman after all.

Story
Trixie spent the first 6 months of her life in a small cage, and she doesn't do well in enclosed spaces like carry crates or cars. I'm moving at the end of the month and don't want to subject her to a 4+ hour car ride. As much as I want to keep her, I don't want to inflict additional trauma that such a long drive would cause. She's been an only cat since I got her, is 3 yrs old, and loves to play under blankets

Story
Beauty DOB: 6/3/25 Beauty is a bonded pair with her brother Sterling — they must be adopted together, and the adoption fee covers both cats. This beautiful girl is so perfectly named. Beauty is currently living her best life in her foster home, and while she is a more reserved kitten who takes time to build trust, she is VERY sweet and special — and absolutely worth the wait. She loves hiding spots when she needs a little space, and perches up high on the cat tree to survey her kingdom and soak up a sunny spot. Bird watching is one of her favorite pastimes. Beauty loves roughhousing and chasing her brother Sterling, and the two of them together are pure joy to watch. She has a sweet morning routine — rubbing against her foster mom’s legs while she brushes her teeth, just to remind her that it’s wet food time. She enjoys laser pointers, scratching posts, bells, feathers, and cat wands. She may take a while to feel fully at home, but once she does, she will sneak into bed with you at night and make herself right at home beside you. One more thing that makes her extra special: Beauty doesn’t meow — she squeaks! She gets along with other cats and is looking for a patient, loving home alongside her brother Sterling. Story
Sterling DOB: 6/3/25 Sterling is a bonded pair with his sister Beauty — they must be adopted together, and the adoption fee covers both cats. To add some class to your house, Sterling is your guy. With the softest fur and a gorgeous coat pattern, this handsome charmer is absolutely stunning in person. He may come across as shy at first, but it doesn’t take long for him to warm up — and once he does, he is social, affectionate, and loves human, canine, and fellow feline interaction. Just one look and this guy starts purring! Sterling loves belly rubs and is never shy about letting you know he likes you. He purrs constantly when being pet and can’t wait to find the perfect lap to curl up on. He likes to snuggle at night and spends his days enjoying his cat tree, bird watching from the window, and batting at laser pointers, cat wands, bells, feathers, and empty boxes. One of his very favorite things? Playing with and chasing his sister Beauty. The two of them are like Yin and Yang — inseparable and endlessly entertaining together. Sterling gets along well with dogs and other cats. He is looking for a home that will give both him and Beauty the love and patience they deserve.
