Story
Our friend had an unplanned litter of puppies and we were looking for a new member of our family. We have had her since she was weaned. She’s fully house trained, knows a few simple commands (sit, stay, eat) We have a small child and a senior dog and Eva does not care for either of them. She’s great with my husband and I, she is great with our teen as well. She has been a great alert dog/guard dog but it has become more and more difficult to have visitors without putting her behind closed doors. We have kenneled her on vacations and she has had no issues with Vet staff. Eva would be much happier with a single adult or a family with no small children or other dogs. Please let me know if you think she might be a good addition to your family.

Tripod is a handicapped adult male blue heeler who has an unknown issue with one of his rear legs. I do not know his age, as he was a stray when we found him. He does have a limp, but he gets along just fine on his three good legs, (hence the name Tripod) and can run and play like normal. His new home should be loving and patient due to him being handicapped. He is so sweet with people. He does not like other dogs though. He has always been an outside dog, so I’m unsure how he is with house training.

Story
Coolie Moo is a Texas Heeler with a heart of gold and lots of playful energy! She is convinced she is your lap dog and is in search of endless belly rubs. Full of love, energy and affection, Coolie is ready to be your new running partner or ranch hand! Coolie was found in November of 2023 on the side of the highway. She had no collar or microchip, was in heat and underweight with fleas and ticks. Coolie fully recovered and has thrived! Her favorite way to spend her days is outside playing with her ball and other dogs. She loves being in the house when she can lay at your feet while you work or binge TV but would still like to be outside when left alone. Her daily homework is learning what is and is not a toy. She would love to be with someone that spends a lot of time at home and loves to be outside in nature. She is vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested (negative) and was spayed at the San Antonio Humane Society on 02/06/2024.

Meet Echo ntroducing Echo! Nyx is a beautiful Shepherd (and possibly Collie?) mix who is approximately 3 months old and currently weighs 7 pounds. We rescued this little gal, along with her brother Nyx from the Weslaco shelter in South Texas near the border of Mexico.These little cuties were found as strays and we are so happy to have them here to help them find their loving,, forever homes. Echo is a typical happy, playful puppy! She is very sweet and enjoys romping around, exploring her surroundings with her brother here at the rescue. She is curious, social and enjoys being held. Echo is having fun learning to play with toys and is very smart and cuddly. We can really see her doing well in a home where she can get lot of attention and playtime with her family. As with any puppy, we know Echo would benefit from basic obedience training to help her learn good manners which will give her a good foundation to be the best puppy she can be. She would be a wonderful companion to grow up in just about any family environment. We have no idea who mom and dad are so we can only estimate that Who will be a medium-sized dog full grown.She is just a fun, happy puppy who can’t wait to find a home of her own! Echo is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and will be available for adoption after May 11th , 2024. Prior to adoption, Echo will be spayed, up-to-date on all vaccinations/shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $375. A meet and greet will be arranged with an approved application. Hes a grate dog. More for teens than little kids. I’m a single mom of three toddlers and just dont have time or energy that he needs to play with him. Ive moved around a lot and he needs a steady loving home. Hes outside and has lots of energy and is a dirty boy. I dont want this but it’s what’s best for him! He loves food and loves running in circles when someone drives up or leaves and love hugging/ cuddling. He needs attention and training for commands he will sit and shake hands though. Also loves to run so needs a fence. He’s had 2 cat friends and loved them. He needs some cleaning and I just physically cant do. I hope who he ends with someone who will love him and treat him right! Thank you !
