Hes a grate dog. More for teens than little kids. I’m a single mom of three toddlers and just dont have time or energy that he needs to play with him. Ive moved around a lot and he needs a steady loving home. Hes outside and has lots of energy and is a dirty boy. I dont want this but it’s what’s best for him! He loves food and loves running in circles when someone drives up or leaves and love hugging/ cuddling. He needs attention and training for commands he will sit and shake hands though. Also loves to run so needs a fence. He’s had 2 cat friends and loved them. He needs some cleaning and I just physically cant do. I hope who he ends with someone who will love him and treat him right! I'm needing to rehome my 6 year old Australian shepherd. Her name is Harley and she is a pure bred Merle Aussie. She is a very relaxed dog, but is also very anxious. She will need someone who is willing to give her the love and attention she deserves. I Prefer her to go to a home with no kids or cats. Dogs are ok but not younger dogs. Because of her very submissive behavior it has made my cats very nervous around her and they have all 3 began attacking her which is making her irritable. This is incredibly hard for me to do, but she has growled at my son a couple times because of being irritable and it's just not fair for her to be constantly anxious and kept in her dog room for extended periods of time. I am not looking for an expensive adoption fee, and I am open to discuss a lower fee, but because of that I will be very picky on who she goes with to ensure she is placed with the perfect family.

Bingo is a very special dog that was adopted in January of 2020 by a beloved volunteer and friend of SNIPSA. As Bingo was passed over for adoption again and again, he found a special friend in SNIPSA’s dog walker, Kalvin. Day after day, week after week, Kalvin and Bingo went on afternoon walks. This special bond blossomed into best buds for life when Kalvin officially adopted Bingo. Devastatingly, Kalvin passed away in early November. While our hearts are broken for a friend lost too soon, we are committed to making sure Bingo finds a new family who can offer him just as much love (and as many walks) as dear Kalvin. A happy and energetic pup with a huge love of fetching toys, Bingo is also an epic cuddle bug! While his bond for his “human” is strong, he will do better as an only pet. This lover boy is eager to please and would make a doting, loyal companion. We are so invested in finding Bingo the right home that we enrolled him in doggy boot camp at Lone Star State K9. He has spent the past few weeks brushing up on his manners so he can be the best boy for his new owners. Bingo means the world to us and we hope he can find a fresh start in 2024. Have a love for senior dogs? Well then, this old girl will most certainly pull at your heartstrings. Meet Loretta! This adorable Aussie wants nothing but cuddles and a place to call her own. Found blind, emaciated, dehydrated and abandoned in a ditch, someone let this pup down big time. Luckily, Loretta was rescued by Karnes County Humane Organization and offered a temporary refuge. The organization issued a plea for help, and after hearing about her story, SNIPSA decided to step in, too. Loretta has been transferred into a foster home where she can relax as she awaits a prospective adopter. Despite her current state, she was clearly a beloved pet at some point in her life. Loretta wastes no time in befriending humans. She will eagerly crawl into your lap for pets and trustingly follow your scent during trips outside. Having lost most of her sight, she relies mostly on her nose and partial hearing to navigate her surroundings. She has also has an excellent appetite and always cleans her bowl! From what we’ve seen, Loretta would do just fine with other pets as long as they can respect her fragile condition. She enjoys socializing with other friendly dogs, exploring her surroundings and laying in the grass outside. With her calm, affectionate nature, Loretta will be a peaceful presence in any home.
