WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Kaylee 🐾 Kaylee may be tiny, but don’t tell her that — she’s absolutely convinced she runs the world. This 10-week-old Border Collie × Australian Cattle Dog mix is bursting with confidence, brains, and pure puppy sparkle. She’s bold, outgoing, and always the first to dive into whatever adventure is happening. New toy? Hers. New sound? Investigating. Siblings napping? Time to wake them up and party. She’s got that classic cattle dog grit paired with border collie smarts, which means she’s quick to learn, highly observant, and already showing signs of being one clever little problem solver. She’s playful, energetic, and endlessly entertaining — equal parts athlete and comedian. Kaylee is wonderfully social and full of personality, with just the right amount of bossy “supervisor” energy that makes everyone laugh. We expect her to be about 35 lbs full grown — the perfect size for hiking, training, road trips, or an active lifestyle. Because of her working-breed mix, she’ll thrive in a home ready to keep her mind and body busy with training, games, and lots of engagement. In return, you’ll get the most loyal, fun-loving sidekick you could ask for. If you’re ready for a smart, spunky best friend who will keep life exciting, Kaylee is your girl. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this deserving girl the forever home she’s been waiting for 💛🐾

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🍃🐾 Meet Huckleberry — Your Sweet, Silly, Adventure-Lovin’ Sidekick 🐾🍃 Male • 3 Years Old • ~45 lbs (working his way up to 55!) • Aussie Mix Some dogs come into your life loud and bold… and some, like Huckleberry Finn, quietly sneak into your heart and never leave. 💛 At around 3 years old, Huckleberry is that perfect mix of playful adventurer and gentle soul. He’s got an athletic side that loves to get out and explore, and a soft, sweet side that just wants to be close to his people (once he knows you’re his). Now, let’s get one thing out of the way… Yes, he could use a few extra groceries. 🍔 We’re working toward his ideal “fluffy but fit” weight of about 50-55 pounds — and honestly, he’s very on board with this plan, especially since it involves snacks. Huckleberry is incredibly dog friendly — truly happiest when he has a canine buddy by his side. He’ll need a home with another friendly pup where he can play, follow, nap, and share life with his built-in best friend. His favorite things include: • Playing with dog friends (top tier activity) • Splashing in the water like a happy goofball • Exploring the great outdoors • Accepting treats as a full-time profession When it comes to people, Huckleberry may be a little shy at first, but give him a moment, a soft voice, and definitely a snack, and you’ll see him blossom right before your eyes. Once he trusts you, his loyalty runs deep. He’s the kind of dog who will quietly walk beside you on life’s adventures — whether that’s hiking a trail, camping under the stars, or just enjoying a peaceful evening at home. And honestly? He’s just out here looking for his Tom Sawyer — his person, his partner, his best friend to share all of life’s little (and big) adventures with. Huckleberry isn’t just looking for a home — he’s looking for his person, his Tom. The one who will give him the time, love, and companionship he deserves… and in return, he’ll give you a lifetime of loyalty and quiet, heart-melting moments. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and be the Tom Sawyer to this sweet Huck's story. 🐾💛

Story
Dog video: https://youtube.com/shorts/Qob9_pTe_jQ Cat in video: https://youtube.com/shorts/VC2qRKqs0p8?feature=share Snuggle time: https://youtu.be/Uo3TkspW3NQ Animal Information: Sunny is a 1–2 year old Border Collie/Shepherd mix weighing about 55 pounds. She is a healthy, happy young dog with a wonderful temperament. Sunny has a nice energy level; she’s active enough to enjoy walks and playtime but not overly hyper. She has very soft fur and an affectionate personality. Sunny loves being close to her people and will happily lay her head on your chest for cuddles, along with plenty of sweet kisses. Sunny is crate trained, house trained, and does well on leash. She is quiet, enjoys being around people, and settles nicely in the home. She may still need a little help learning to give clearer cues when she needs to go outside, but she is already doing very well. She gets along great with other animals and is currently living with three cats and two large dogs in her foster home without any issues.  Foster Profile: Sunny is an absolute gem! She has been a wonderful sweet loving pup  who is slow to warm-- initially shy but fairly quickly becomes friendly which is very typical of her breed mix . She is curious and gentle around people and currently curious about other dogs from a distance. Sunny is Very energetic, typical of her breed and currently goes on two to three hours of walks each day-- she would love an active family who hikes or runs and is also willing to maybe engage her brain with agility or flyable or barn hunt or sheep herding-- tiring her out will include engaging her brain, nit just her muscles. Breed experience is a must. she enjoys playing in the house and is a lovely leaner and paw giver when seeking attention. She does have an off switch, but she's a fast recharge. Sunny does well in her crate and understands it as a safe space. Sunny is not very vocal in terms of barking, but has a brief whimper initially when left at home. She needs time to warm up to you on her own or she may give a low growl to let you know to give her a moment. Sunny is working on her leash manners and will need continued guidance in this area and we are working on it. o far, Sunny rides very well in the car and is calm while occasionally looking out the window. Sunny knows sit and of and give paw, and se also responds well to hand signals. Sunny seeks attention and enjoys snuggling and being close and could use some training on How To Chill. She will need structure and activities, because she is a smart cookie.                                                                                                              Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
