Story
I need help finding a new home for our beloved dog Wilson. Wilson is a large senior dog (9 years old this month, 80 lbs.) that we adopted from Saving Great Animals in June 2020. He is part border collie and part cattle dog (DNA results available). My wife (age 75) has dementia and Alzheimer’s. She had to enter an adult family home for long term care. I am 73 with early-stage Parkinson’s. I have decided to move into a senior apartment. I found a place that will let Wilson join me for now. But Wilson is not cut out to live in an apartment. He is a herding breed. We go to Marymoor every day. He loves his walks at MM and around our neighborhood in Redmond. He is generally well behaved with other dogs. I don’t think that he is difficult to get along with. he prefers to stand behind me when he’s meeting a new dog. He would do best where he is the only dog, and probably no children. Maybe if you are recently retired or you live at a slower pace, Wilson could be a great compan

Animal Information:  Meet Blackberry! He and his 2 siblings are 12 weeks old Border Collie mixes (best guess) and will be joining us from California along with their mom Brownie on 06/11/2026. Foster Profile: I wanted to compose the perfect bio for Blackberry but nothing could measure up to him. Berry is super smart, super affectionate and super friendly. We have been working on potty training, which requires a consistent routine. Kennel training, which he has aced, and leash walking. He knows sit and is quick to follow my resident dog's lead with fetch. This little guy likes to follow me like a little lamb. He is very curious about everything. He has done great with my resident dog as well as other dogs in my neighborhood. He has also done well at the public park as well as our visit to Home Depot. He loves to be active and does great in the car. He could also be great in a home with another dog. He is going to be an incredible companion. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Stanislaus Shelter in Modesto, CA. They will be transferred via START, arriving to foster care on 06/11/2026 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care. June 20, 2026, 5:28 pm

Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Meet Rapunzel! Rapunzel is a 3-month-old Mini Australian Shepherd puppy with a sweet personality and a heart full of love. This adorable little girl is playful, social, and always ready to make new friends, whether they have two legs or four. Rapunzel loves playing with other dogs and enjoys exploring the world around her. She's curious, confident, and full of puppy enthusiasm, bringing smiles wherever she goes. After a day of adventures and playtime, she's more than happy to curl up for some cuddles and affection. Like many Mini Aussies, Rapunzel is incredibly smart and eager to learn. She'll thrive in a home that can provide plenty of love, training, and opportunities to keep her active mind engaged as she grows. Rapunzel's journey began when her mom, an 18-pound purebred Miniature Australian Shepherd, was rescued from a backyard breeding situation. Thanks to that rescue, Rapunzel now has the opportunity to find a family that will cherish her and give her the wonderful life she deserves. If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent, and affectionate companion, Rapunzel may be the perfect addition to your family. Adopt this beautiful little girl and let her weave her way into your heart!
