McIntosh is one happy little guy who is ready to find his forever family! At about 6 months old, this playful pup is full of fun, personality, and puppy wiggles. He loves playing with other dogs, kids, and especially chasing balls. He's the kind of puppy who is always ready to join in on the fun, but once he's worn himself out, he's happy to curl up beside you for some serious cuddle time. McIntosh is already crate trained, potty trained, and walks nicely on a leash, so he's got a great head start on becoming the perfect family companion. And when it comes to sleeping, McIntosh has his own unique style—he loves being half on and half off his bed! Sweet, playful, social, and affectionate, McIntosh is ready for a family who will keep his tail wagging and his heart full. Taiga is a loving, obedient, and loyal dog who enjoys walks, naps, and playing with other dogs. She began wandering through the neighborhood where her foster lives, approaching gently each day for food. She had several pregnancies while living outdoors. One day she settled in the front yard and gave birth to a single puppy. Then her foster decided it was time to bring her inside so she could finally be safe and cared for.Taiga is friendly, social, and an excellent companion. Her ideal home includes other dogs, active people, and a yard. She should not live with cats or small animals she might view as prey. She is ready for a family who will appreciate her calm loyalty and sweet nature. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. Story
Hi, I’m Zoro! I’m a friendly, eager-to-please guy who loves being around people. I’m dog friendly, leash trained, and potty trained, though I’m still working on keeping all four paws on the ground when I get excited. I have medium to high energy and can adapt to different environments, so I’m happy to chill at home or join you for walks and playtime. If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion who loves attention and wants to be by your side, I’d be thrilled to meet you. I am currently located in Texas but am available for adoption in multiple states across the country. My out of state adoption fee is $750. This fee helps cover the cost of care while I was at the shelter AND the cost of transporting me home! This includes: spay/neuter, if unaltered upon intake. age-appropriate vaccinations during time in care. a registered microchip if unchipped upon intake. a heartworm test if over six months of age. current flea/tick prevention during time in care. 3(+) broad spectrum deworming treatment. any medical expenses while in care. a health certificate for travel. the cost of travel (drivers, gas, and vehicle maintenance if via our route, or up to $200 in crate rental fees if on another transporter’s route!) BEST WAY TO INQUIRE, EMAIL Adoptions@BAMMRESCUEPDX.ORG 2 yr old tricolor M/N Kelpie/GSD mix Looking for a dogs dog?? Gunner is your guy! He was comfortable enough around me, allowed touch, took treats, interacted some with me, but he really really wanted to play with the big dog in the next yard. He wasn't aloof though! Took treats gently, eager to please and loved being called a good boi, it was a fun yard time for both us us He does seem to be feeling the stress from the shelter, some have had some trouble getting him out of his kennel but he was perfectly behaved for me. This is an active breed, he will need consistent physical and mental exercise to be happy, it is likely what is causing his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity. It is worth noting that he was a very loud bork monster when I first approached his kennel but after 3 treats he was ready to follow me anywhere I was going Knows how to sit, walks well on the leash (just a tiny bit of pulling) and seemed potty trained!! ##2528145##

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Boudreaux the sweetest Southern gentleman you'll ever meet! At 8-9 years old and around 40lbs, Boudreaux has perfected the balance between playful and relaxed. He's a laid-back guy who loves spending time with his people, whether that's lounging by your side or chasing after a tennis ball in a game of fetch. Boudreaux is looking for a new beginning after spending his entire life with the person who raised him from a puppy. Sadly, due to his owner's declining health, they can no longer care for him. This decision was made out of love, and now Boudreaux is hoping to find another family to spend his golden years with. This handsome gentleman has never met a stranger. He absolutely loves people and greets everyone like an old friend. Boudreaux has a calm, laid-back personality, but don't let his age fool you—he still lights up when it's time to play fetch! He also loves cooling off in the water, making him the perfect companion for lake days, backyard kiddie pools, or simply splashing around on a warm afternoon. This sweet boy is also great with other dogs and is fully housebroken, making him an easy addition to just about any home. With his gentle personality, good manners, and loving heart, Boudreaux is ready to spend his life bringing joy, companionship, and plenty of tail wags to a lucky family. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will happily join you for a game of fetch, a splash in the water, or a relaxing evening at home, Boudreaux is waiting to meet you!

Story
Animal Profile: Nelson is a 3-year-old 28 lb hunky little short stack with a big personality and an even bigger smile. Originally labeled as a “Shiba Inu” mix, Nelson has since been DNA tested and is a Pit Bull/Cattle Dog/Fox Terrier mix, which explains his charm and his smarts. Nelson is being returned to the rescue after a year and a half due to his incompatibility with one of the two children in the home. Nelson does not appreciate hugs and cuddles especially while he is sleeping and even with multiple warnings including snaps and tooth contact, has never offered an injury inflicting bite. With his winning grin, compact build, and engaging personality, Nelson is ready to be someone’s loyal companion. He just needs the right match to thrive. Foster Update: Nelson is an active, engaging, and intelligent dog who truly wants a job to do and a person to do it with. He thrives when his days include a healthy balance of mental stimulation, physical exercise, and clear, confident leadership. This handsome boy has already put in a lot of work to set himself up for success. He has completed a board-and-train program with Mayhem Dog Training and is fully e-collar trained, giving him a strong foundation in structure and communication. Nelson also did well in a daycare setting with Rocket Dogs, where he enjoyed appropriate social interaction and play. He is currently in foster care with On The Mark Balanced Training in Snohomish, WA, where he gets to enjoy an active, structured lifestyle that suits him well. His routine includes off-leash adventures, treadmill workouts, and time with a well-managed pack of dogs—activities that help him stay balanced, fulfilled, and engaged. Nelson would do best in an adult-only home, either as an only dog or with a calm, well-balanced canine companion. His ideal adopter is someone with e-collar experience or someone open to learning and continuing his training journey. He responds very well to structure and will thrive with consistency and clear expectations. Ongoing support is available after adoption: Joy from Mayhem Dog Training is happy to provide follow-up lessons to help ensure a smooth and successful transition into his new home. Nelson’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. He was originally found as a stray and taken to a shelter in early September 2024. When no one came forward to claim him, he captured the heart of a rescue partner who saw his potential and invested in his future. Now, after everything he’s learned and overcome, Nelson is ready for his fresh start with the right family. He’s looking for someone who will appreciate his drive, guide his energy, and give him the structure he needs to thrive. In return, Nelson will offer loyalty, enthusiasm, and a true partnership built on trust and teamwork.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, and microchip with registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History:  This dog was returned to the rescue after 18 months in a home, originally transported from Caddo Parish Animal Shelter in Shreveport Louisiana via Tail Lights Rescue Project in 2024. He will be available for adoption once evaluated in foster care in the Seattle area.  September 7, 2026, 2:08 pm

Sassy was found in a small rural area of about 2,000 people east of Tulsa, and sadly no one came looking for her. She’s an energetic girl who also knows how to settle down and chill.
