FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Bonnie! Bonnie is a 1½-year-old, 46 lb Kelpie/Doberman mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This beautiful girl is as smart as she is sweet and is ready to find a home that will help her reach her full potential! Bonnie is loving, loyal, and incredibly people-oriented. She’s super friendly, does great with other dogs, and enjoys being part of whatever her humans are doing. She’s also very intelligent, treat-motivated, and eager to please, making her a dream for someone who enjoys training and wants a dog they can really work with. Bonnie is the kind of dog who will go far with the right guidance—she loves learning new things and thrives when given structure and purpose. An active home would be ideal for Bonnie, where she can get regular exercise, mental stimulation, and continue building her skills. Whether it’s daily walks, adventures, or training sessions, she’ll be happiest when she’s engaged and included. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, and fun companion who’s ready to learn and grow with you, Bonnie might just be your perfect match! Bonnie is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
MEET ROCKY, a 2-year-old Australian Kelpie in need of a foster or forever home! Rocky is a very affectionate dog who loves his human! He would do well with someone who works from home or is retired, as he loves to be with people. Rocky weighs only 40 lbs., and is a loving boy. He's done well with other dogs in the past, though we can test him further. Kelpies are intelligent dogs, believed to have been descended from Border Collies. They love to be stimulated with walks and other activities. Rocky would do best in an active home where he can go for walks, hikes or other outings. He's currently in Southern California, but can be transported to Washington. Please email for an application.

Toto would thrive in a home with children and lots of love and affection. He's also a big fan of regular walks, making him a great companion for an active owner.Toto's journey wasn't easy -- he was found covered in fleas and mange near a clinic. He's a perfect fit for a family who can shower him with attention and love. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. Story
Hi, I am Monkey! I am a happy, playful, and quirky little dog with lots of personality. I love to play with other dogs, go for walks, and snuggle on the couch with my people. I enjoy lying in the sun and being lazy, but I also get the zoomies and love to play when the mood hits me.I was hit by a car in front of my rescuer's house in May 2025 and had a fractured femur that was surgically repaired. I used to live across the street, mostly outside, but after my accident, the man who had me didn't want me back. That turned out to be lucky for me because now I'm looking for a loving forever home where I will be wanted and loved.I'm kennel trained, affectionate, and loyal. I would do great in a home with another dog and an owner who enjoys walks and snuggle time. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. Story
Taiga is a loving, obedient, and loyal dog who enjoys walks, naps, and playing with other dogs. She began wandering through the neighborhood where her foster lives, approaching gently each day for food. She had several pregnancies while living outdoors. One day she settled in the front yard and gave birth to a single puppy. Then her foster decided it was time to bring her inside so she could finally be safe and cared for.Taiga is friendly, social, and an excellent companion. Her ideal home includes other dogs, active people, and a yard. She should not live with cats or small animals she might view as prey. She's ready for a family who will appreciate her calm loyalty and sweet nature. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🍃🐾 Meet Huckleberry — Your Sweet, Silly, Adventure-Lovin’ Sidekick 🐾🍃 Male • 3 Years Old • ~45 lbs (working his way up to 55!) • Aussie Mix Some dogs come into your life loud and bold… and some, like Huckleberry Finn, quietly sneak into your heart and never leave. 💛 At around 3 years old, Huckleberry is that perfect mix of playful adventurer and gentle soul. He’s got an athletic side that loves to get out and explore, and a soft, sweet side that just wants to be close to his people (once he knows you’re his). Now, let’s get one thing out of the way… Yes, he could use a few extra groceries. 🍔 We’re working toward his ideal “fluffy but fit” weight of about 50-55 pounds — and honestly, he’s very on board with this plan, especially since it involves snacks. Huckleberry is incredibly dog friendly — truly happiest when he has a canine buddy by his side. He’ll need a home with another friendly pup where he can play, follow, nap, and share life with his built-in best friend. His favorite things include: • Playing with dog friends (top tier activity) • Splashing in the water like a happy goofball • Exploring the great outdoors • Accepting treats as a full-time profession When it comes to people, Huckleberry may be a little shy at first, but give him a moment, a soft voice, and definitely a snack, and you’ll see him blossom right before your eyes. Once he trusts you, his loyalty runs deep. He’s the kind of dog who will quietly walk beside you on life’s adventures — whether that’s hiking a trail, camping under the stars, or just enjoying a peaceful evening at home. And honestly? He’s just out here looking for his Tom Sawyer — his person, his partner, his best friend to share all of life’s little (and big) adventures with. Huckleberry isn’t just looking for a home — he’s looking for his person, his Tom. The one who will give him the time, love, and companionship he deserves… and in return, he’ll give you a lifetime of loyalty and quiet, heart-melting moments. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and be the Tom Sawyer to this sweet Huck's story. 🐾💛

Story
Animal Profile: Maui's ideal home will have a balanced dog that can show him the world isn't such a scary place. A big bonus would be if the dog is willing to play. He has no resource guarding tendencies, and respects when other dogs establish boundaries. He will thrive under strong leadership, with an active family committed to continuing his training. Previous experience with anxious dogs is preferred. Maui is a goofy young boy who is equal parts klutz and weighted blanket. He is still a little unsure about the world, and we are working on building up his confidence—he has come a long way. He takes his time warming up to strangers, but once he does he will melt onto the ground for belly rubs. He is eager to please, and highly motivated by both food and affection. He doesn't have a lot of body awareness, and will often bump into furniture or people. His exuberance might be a little much for young children, but dog-savvy kids would be ok. He has spent time with a 20 month old toddler, and showed no aggression despite being climbed on and grabbed. His crate is his safe space, and he enjoys retreating there when he's overwhelmed or tired. Maui will be up for as much activity as you would like to take him, and might get some zoomies if not walked sufficiently—two 30 min walks a day would be sufficient. He can be reactive to dogs on leash, but responds well to training so far. He also loves to play with toys—fetch and tug are his favourite games. He is not destructive, and has never had an accident in his time here. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575, which includes spay/neuter, current rabies/DAPPV/bordetella vaccinations, microchip, health certificate, and heartworm test. All adoption fees are donations to a Washington non-profit corporation and all donations go to benefit the animals in our rescue.  Apply online at www.DogGoneSeattle.org Animal History: March 7, 2026, 12:47 pm

Story
Animal Information: I would like to introduce you to Riley, who will be joining us from Eastern Washington along with his two brothers. Riley is a 11-week-old Cattle Dog mix from an accidental litter. When our rescue partner reached out for help in placing some of the puppies we couldn't say no. The brothers are waiting for their freedom ride to Bothell, They are scheduled to arrive on St. Patrick's Day, March 17, 2026.  Foster Profile: Meet Riley. Aside from his adorable markings and light-colored eyes, he is exceptionally intelligent and gets along well with all my animals (two cats and a dog). He has a gentle and loving personality with the perfect amount of playfulness. He listens when he’s told not to do something and even likes to fetch. For being only 10 weeks old, he is doing very well with potty training; as long as he is taken out, he goes potty outside every time with very few accidents. He is now used to being on a leash in my yard, and I have successfully got him used to his crate at night and for about 2–3 hours during the day. Honestly, he will make a phenomenal housemate. From what I can tell, he would do well with any home that has time to continue his training, though I don't think he's ready to be left in a crate for longer periods while he is so young. Having raised my own dogs from puppies and helped multiple family members with training, I can confidently say he is truly one in a million. He is a great little guy and I will miss him a lot! We are looking for a home with a securely fenced yard and family willing to continue is training. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, heartworm test if indicated, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166).  Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Yakima Valley Pet Rescue, WA. Arriving in foster care 03/17/26. He will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.March 24, 2026, 4:38 pm
