Animal Information:  Meet Blackberry! He and his 2 siblings are 12 weeks old Border Collie mixes (best guess) and will be joining us from California along with their mom Brownie on 06/11/2026. Foster Profile: I wanted to compose the perfect bio for Blackberry but nothing could measure up to him. Berry is super smart, super affectionate and super friendly. We have been working on potty training, which requires a consistent routine. Kennel training, which he has aced, and leash walking. He knows sit and is quick to follow my resident dog's lead with fetch. This little guy likes to follow me like a little lamb. He is very curious about everything. He has done great with my resident dog as well as other dogs in my neighborhood. He has also done well at the public park as well as our visit to Home Depot. He loves to be active and does great in the car. He could also be great in a home with another dog. He is going to be an incredible companion. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). She is a healthy, happy young dog with a wonderful temperament. Sunny has a nice energy level; she’s active enough to enjoy walks and playtime but not overly hyper. She has very soft fur and an affectionate personality. Sunny loves being close to her people and will happily lay her head on your chest for cuddles, along with plenty of sweet kisses. Sunny is crate trained, house trained, and does well on leash. She is quiet, enjoys being around people, and settles nicely in the home. She may still need a little help learning to give clearer cues when she needs to go outside, but she is already doing very well. She gets along great with other animals and is currently living with three cats and two large dogs in her foster home without any issues.  Foster Profile: Sunny is an absolute gem! She has been a wonderful sweet loving pup  who is slow to warm-- initially shy but fairly quickly becomes friendly which is very typical of her breed mix . She is curious and gentle around people and currently curious about other dogs from a distance. Sunny is Very energetic, typical of her breed and currently goes on two to three hours of walks each day-- she would love an active family who hikes or runs and is also willing to maybe engage her brain with agility or flyable or barn hunt or sheep herding-- tiring her out will include engaging her brain, nit just her muscles. Breed experience is a must. she enjoys playing in the house and is a lovely leaner and paw giver when seeking attention. She does have an off switch, but she's a fast recharge. Sunny does well in her crate and understands it as a safe space. Sunny is not very vocal in terms of barking, but has a brief whimper initially when left at home. She needs time to warm up to you on her own or she may give a low growl to let you know to give her a moment. Sunny is working on her leash manners and will need continued guidance in this area and we are working on it. o far, Sunny rides very well in the car and is calm while occasionally looking out the window. Sunny knows sit and of and give paw, and se also responds well to hand signals. Sunny seeks attention and enjoys snuggling and being close and could use some training on How To Chill. She will need structure and activities, because she is a smart cookie.                                                                                                              Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Story
Animal Profile: Buddy is a 4.5-year-old Doodle (1/2 Border Collie 1/2 Standard Poodle). He was purchased from a breeder prior to his owners having children. Buddy is a friendly but slightly anxious guy who has not adjusted well to having a toddler in the home. His family invested in a 4-week board and train with a local dog trainer in hopes that it would help Buddy feel more comfortable around small toddlers. Buddy completed his training; he has excellent house and leash manners, is house trained, crate trained; and knows the ‘place’ command. Unfortunately he was still too uncomfortable around the kids after training, and his family decided it was best to find him a new home. Buddy has been trained using balanced methods, including e collar for off leash reliability. Buddy does great at doggy daycare, but does have some resource guarding around food and select toys when it comes to other dogs. While he enjoys his dog friends, we think he’d be happiest as an only dog. Buddy has not lived with cats. Buddy is currently in foster care with a balanced trainer, and doing well. Foster Update: coming soon! Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which includes his neuter, core vaccinations,  DPPV, Bordetella, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application  June 15, 2026, 6:18 pm

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌊🐾 Hi, I’m Ariel! 🐾🌊 I may not live under the sea, but I do believe life is better with adventure, dramatic entrances, and lots of attention. I’m a Beagle x Heeler mix born on March 12, and I’m already practicing my starring role as your future best friend. I’ve got the curiosity of a Beagle, the athletic spirit of a Heeler, and just enough sass to keep life interesting. I love people so much and would happily follow you around all day helping with absolutely everything… whether you asked for help or not. I’m brave, playful, and always ready for action — zoomies, hikes, backyard wrestling matches, toy stealing, and dramatic monologues when dinner is 37 seconds late are all specialties of mine. My siblings and I are what you’d call “gritty puppies,” meaning we’re tough, adventurous, and not afraid to get a little dirty while having fun. We’re expected to stay medium-sized, which is basically the perfect size for couch cuddles and outdoor adventures. My mom looks like a purebred Blue Heeler, so I’ll likely grow into a smart, active girl who thrives with people that want a loyal sidekick for everyday life. I’d love a home that appreciates a puppy with personality — because trust me, I have plenty of it. If you’re looking for a sweet, athletic little shadow with expressive eyes and main-character energy… I’m your girl. 💕

Story
Animal Profile: Nelson is a 28 lb hunky little short stack with a big personality and an even bigger smile. Originally labeled as a “Shiba Inu” mix, Nelson has since been DNA tested and is a Pit Bull/Cattle Dog/Fox Terrier mix, which explains his charm and his smarts. Nelson is being returned to the rescue after a year and a half due to his incompatibility with one of the two children in the home. Nelson does not appreciate hugs and cuddles especially while he is sleeping and even with multiple warnings including snaps and tooth contact, has never offered an injury inflicting bite. With his winning grin, compact build, and engaging personality, Nelson is ready to be someone’s loyal companion. He just needs the right match to thrive. Foster Update:  Nelson is an active and engaging dog; he looks to work, and play, and would benefit from an owner who can find a balance of mental/physical engagement and leadership. He has completed a board-and-train program with Mayhem Dog Training and is fully e-collar trained, and did well at Doggy Daycare with Rocket Dogs. He’s currently in foster care with On The Mark Balanced Training in Snohomish, Wa where he gets to participate in off leash adventures, workout on the treadmill, and play with a whole pack of dogs. His ideal home would be an adult only household, with or without well-balanced dog and an adopter who has e-collar experience or is willing to learn. Continued support is available: Joy from Mayhem Dog Training is happy to provide follow-up lessons after adoption to help ensure a smooth transition. Nelson was originally found wandering as a stray and ended up in a shelter in early September 2024. When no one came to claim him, he captured the heart of a rescue partner, and now he’s ready for a fresh start with the right family.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, and microchip with registration. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History:  This dog was returned to the rescue after 18 months in a home, originally transported from Caddo Parish Animal Shelter in Shreveport Louisiana via Tail Lights Rescue Project in 2024. He will be available for adoption once evaluated in foster care in the Seattle area.  June 15, 2026, 6:18 pm

This adorable little girl is playful, social, and always ready to make new friends, whether they have two legs or four. Rapunzel loves playing with other dogs and enjoys exploring the world around her. She's curious, confident, and full of puppy enthusiasm, bringing smiles wherever she goes. After a day of adventures and playtime, she's more than happy to curl up for some cuddles and affection. Like many Mini Aussies, Rapunzel is incredibly smart and eager to learn. She'll thrive in a home that can provide plenty of love, training, and opportunities to keep her active mind engaged as she grows. Rapunzel's journey began when her mom, an 18-pound purebred Miniature Australian Shepherd, was rescued from a backyard breeding situation. Thanks to that rescue, Rapunzel now has the opportunity to find a family that will cherish her and give her the wonderful life she deserves. If you're looking for a loyal, intelligent, and affectionate companion, Rapunzel may be the perfect addition to your family. Adopt this beautiful little girl and let her weave her way into your heart!
