I've never had a family but I hear everyone talking about them and they sure do sound nice!! I was part of an accidental litter and have spent my whole puppyhood in a shelter. That is no place for a puppy to grow up, but in spite of all that I still have a great outlook on life and am very social, happy and just loving life! I is just as adorable as they come, and have got all the qualities you could want in a furry friend. I's affectionate, curious, playful, enthusiastic, and has an adventurous spirit. Even though I is just a baby of around 4months, I already has so much love to give and is eager to learn and grow with you. I do great with people both tall and small and love playing with all the others here at my foster home. But I have not yet had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures I hear y'all call a cat. I'm here looking to adopt me a family, a home...one I can say will be all mine! And since you're reading this, I'm hoping that you'll consider making ME a part of yours!!!! I am very shy at first meet but given some time and patience, I start to come out of my shell and show my sweet loving nature. Me and my siblings were part of an accidental litter. We have not had much socialization and will need a family to introduce us to all the great things in this big ole world. I am that proverbial lump of clay to be molded with gentle hands and kind words into your bestest family member. I am still a baby yet at only 4 months and should probably be around the 50-60lb area when I get myself fully growed up. I am so looking forward to learning...everything! I would love to be your lil sidekick on ALL your adventures. Once I'm comfortable I do great with people even the smaller versions. I also do great with other pups but I haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting any of those creatures y'all call a cat. If introduced properly at my young age I should do OK with them too. I would probably do best with a mentor 'sibling' to help show me the ropes in being a great family member. I would probably also do best in a home where my person is there a lot to spend extra time with me. I am soooo ready to unleash all this awesomeness (and I know it's in here) on my new family so if you think I could be a perfect fit for your home and lifestyle please just stop scrolling and fill out my adoption application. Animal Profile:   Buddy is a 4.5-year-old Doodle, 1/2 Border Collie 1/2 Standard Poodle. He was purchased from a breeder prior to his owners having children. Buddy is a friendly, but slightly anxious guy who has not adjusted well to having a toddler in the home. His family invested in a 4 week board and train with a local dog trainer in hopes that it would help Buddy feel more comfortable around small toddlers. Buddy completed his training; he has excellent house and leash manners, is house trained, crate trained; and knows the ‘place’ command. Unfortunately he was still too uncomfortable around the kids after training, and his family decided it was best to find him a new home. Buddy has been trained using balanced methods, including e collar for off leash reliability. Buddy does great at doggy daycare, but does have some resource guarding around food and select toys when it comes to other dogs. While he enjoys his dog friends, we think he’d be happiest as an only dog. Buddy has not lived with cats. Buddy is currently in foster care with his day care owners, and doing well there. Foster Update: coming soon! Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which includes his neuter, core vaccinations,  DPPV, Bordetella, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application  May 17, 2025, 1:02 am

WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Chonq - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! 🐾 Meet Chonq – Ball Enthusiast. Kiss Distributor. Certified Good Boy. Breed: 50% Australian Shepherd, 50% Pit Bull, 100% Love Age: Turning 9 on June 25th, but don’t tell him—he thinks he’s still 3 Weight: A sturdy 66 lbs of snuggly muscle Chonq is the kind of dog who makes you believe in soulmates with fur. He’s housebroken, loyal, smart, and knows that fetch is not a game—it’s a way of life. He will run like a gazelle (a surprisingly fast, wiggly gazelle) after any ball you throw, and bring it back with a look that says, “Again. Immediately.” Raised with love, adventure, and a strong Kong toy game, Chonq was adopted as a tiny pup by his dad and lived a nomadic life of action adventure on the road.  His dad adored him and gave him a life full of hikes, cuddles, toys, and swimming pool cannonballs. Sadly, Chonq lost his person last year to suicide, and while he’s been staying with family, he’s now searching for a forever home—one where his heart, paws, and tennis balls can all rest easy. Ideal Home: Active human(s) who love walks, adventures, and playing fetch until your arm falls off Bonus points if you have a pool—this boy lives for swimming Someone who doesn’t mind kisses… because he’s generous with them Personality Highlights: Sweet, silly, and full of love Will wait patiently if left home alone and won’t chew, shred, or protest Prances like a deer when he’s hunting for his ball 🦌 Gives kisses like it’s his job (and he’s employee of the month, every month) Chonq's Must-Haves: Heavy-duty toys only (he’s been known to obliterate lesser toys with joyful enthusiasm) Room to run and stretch those legs (this guy moves like he’s chasing Olympic gold) Someone who wants a best friend, not just a dog Good with: ✅ Dogs ✅ Cats ✅ Kids If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a goofy smile, and a heart of gold Chonq is your guy. His bags are packed (with Kong toys and dreams of belly rubs). Are you his forever? If Chonq seems like the perfect fit for you and your lifestyle just stop scrolling and fill out his adoption application. You can find it at haydudeequine.org

Animal Profile: Beethoven (hearing impaired like his namesake) is an estimated 3.5-year-old 40 lb neutered male mixed breed -- possibly terrier aussie mix mix -- who was a stray intake to the Caddo Parish Shelter in Louisiana and was assessed to be friendly, social and outgoing with everyone. He has a coat made for the PNW! This boy was used for dog testing because he is neutral or friendly with everyone. We will share more info once we get to know him in foster care.   Foster Update: Beethoven can't hear but he is a next-level snuggle buddy and goofy boy who is house-trained, crate trained, and friendly with other dogs. He's also done okay with cats. He'd do best with a dog buddy in his home. He is prone to anxiety without proper leadership so an experienced dog owner who can provide training and help him be his best self is needed. Thoven has nice leash manners and is non-destructive in the house.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from Caddo Parish animal shelter in Louisiana and arrived to Seattle area via Tail Lights Rescue Project on 08/08//2023. He was adopted and then returned about a year later due to not being a good fit in his home (single man no other dogs in an apartment). He is currently in foster care in North Bend and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area. June 5, 2025, 2:39 pm
