Story
Animal Information: Max is an almost 7 month old Australian Shepherd mix puppy currently. Max was confiscated after being found with multiple broken ribs from a suspected animal abuse case. Even with this rough start, Max appears to be a pretty normal puppy. He is a bit scared of loud noises. We are so happy to be bringing Max to the Seattle area in search of his forever family. Foster Profile:  Max has been part of our family for the past four months, and he has been an absolute joy to foster. He's the kind of dog who settles in quickly, loves his people, and would make a wonderful addition to almost any home. We welcomed Max when he was about 3 months old, and he immediately became a full member of our two-dog household. He gets along wonderfully with our resident dogs and enjoys being part of the pack. Like any young pup, Max is curious and enjoys exploring, but he also has an easygoing personality that makes him a pleasure to have around. For such a young dog, Max has excellent house manners. He is fully potty trained and hasn't had a single accident in the house in over five months. He's comfortable in his crate and can happily relax for a few hours with a favorite bone while you're away. Max walks nicely on leash, has good recall, and naturally likes to stay close to his people. While he still has playful puppy moments, he's surprisingly calm and enjoys spending much of the day relaxing. A daily walk and some playtime seem to suit him just fine—he doesn't appear to be a dog who needs endless exercise to be happy. One of our favorite things about Max is his affectionate morning routine. He loves to wake us up with sweet puppy kisses, and while we enjoy our morning coffee, he'll happily curl up beside us, soaking up all the pets and snuggles he can get. It's the perfect way to start the day and a wonderful glimpse into what a loving companion he is. Max has that rare "off switch" everyone hopes for in a young dog, he enjoys his playtime but is just as happy to settle in and relax with his family. We think Max would thrive with a family or a single adopter looking for a loyal, easygoing companion. He would do well in a home with teenage children and would likely fit in with other friendly dogs, as he's done so well with ours. Max is truly a special pup with a wonderful balance of playful, affectionate, and relaxed. He's the kind of dog who will happily join you on a walk, then come home and spend the afternoon by your side. We can't wait for him to find the loving forever home he deserves. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Story
Animal Information: Brinnon is a 5.5-year-old Aussie/Border Collie mix being surrendered due to his owner’s personal health and mobility challenges. He’s a sweet, intelligent dog whose needs simply are not being fully met in his current home. True to his herding breed roots, Brinnon has created his own “job” when he hasn’t been given enough structure or outlet, which currently shows up as barking at strangers coming and going in the home. Despite this behavior, he is friendly and capable of doing well with confident handling. He currently works with a dog walker and has been successful on outings with experienced guidance. Brinnon is able to make friends with other dogs and has previously lived with cats. He is currently obese, so part of his rehabilitation and future training will focus on helping him safely reach a healthier weight through proper exercise and routine. Anyone with a soft spot for herding breeds will quickly fall in love with this sweet, deserving boy. Foster Profile: Brinnon is a floof of a guy who needs an active family to help him get to his goal of being fit as well as fluffy! Luckily, he LOVES to exercise and is looking for an active family who can provide excellent leadership and confidence building. He walks beautifully on a leash with an occasional excited lunge but we are working on that and he corrects quickly and easily. He's potty trained too! True to his breed, he is a bit wary with lots of comings and goings, but he did great at a BBQ with 20 people including four teenagers. Breed experience is preferred and dog respectful kids 12+ considered. In general he's a pretty well adjusted smart, sweet doggo. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was surrendered to our rescue when her owners could no longer care for her. He joined the rescue and will be available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.July 5, 2026, 2:32 pm

Sherry is full of puppy fun and loves spending her days playing with toys, exploring, and wrestling with her sister, Kim. Please note that we are a foster based rescue in TX. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. We transport them to new states once adopted. ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hey there — I’m Astro 🚀💙 I’m a 7-week-old Great Pyrenees/Aussie/Lab mix with fluffy cream-colored fur, dreamy blue eyes, and a face that apparently makes humans immediately start talking in baby voices. I don’t really understand it yet, but I’m rolling with it. My siblings and I were rescued from a rural area outside of Bastrop, Texas after being found as strays with our mama. She was extremely skinny when we came into rescue, but she still took such good care of us. Now we’re safe, loved, and discovering that life is pretty great when you have soft blankets, full bellies, and people who adore you. I’m a sweet and curious little guy with a gentle personality and just enough puppy confidence to make exploring fun. I love waddling around investigating new things, soaking up attention, and giving my best serious “tiny polar bear” expression when people take my picture. With my mix, I’ll probably grow into a beautiful medium-to-large dog around 60–70 lbs full grown — loyal, smart, affectionate, and ready for adventures with my future family. What I’m really looking for is a home where I can grow up feeling safe, loved, and included in all the little moments of life. Someone to teach me things, cuddle me after long puppy days, and remind me that I’ll never have to survive on my own again. Until then, I’ll just keep being the fluffy blue-eyed heartbreaker of the litter. 🩵🐾

Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hey y’all! I’m Amigo! 🐾 I’m a happy-go-lucky 7-week-old Great Pyrenees x Labrador mix, and I’m the ultimate best friend in training! I came into the world with my sister Adalida and the rest of our crew as strays in Bastrop, Texas. Our mama is a Lab x Pyr mix, and while we’re not sure about dad, one thing’s for sure — I’m gonna grow up to be a sturdy, handsome boy right around 60-70 lbs. I take more after my Lab side in looks — sleek, soft cream-colored coat, floppy ears, and that classic Lab build — but I’ve got these striking blue-green eyes that everyone keeps talking about. They’re kinda mesmerizing, if I do say so myself! I’m the kind of puppy who: Loves belly rubs and zoomies around the yard Gives the sweetest, slobbery kisses Follows my people everywhere (loyalty is my middle name) Plays gently but with plenty of goofy puppy energy Melts hearts with those big blue-green eyes Even as a little guy, I’m already showing that perfect mix of Lab goofiness and Pyr calmness. I’m sweet, smart, and ready to be your constant companion — whether it’s chasing balls, hiking Texas trails, or just chilling on the couch after a long day. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and super handsome adventure buddy who’ll be your best Amigo for life, I’m your boy! Come on and take me home — I promise I’ll be the best friend you’ve ever had. 🤠 — Amigo 💙

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet this fluffy boy, Kiko! He is a 7-year-old, 50 LB Australian Shepherd mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Kiko is a sweet, energetic boy who loves to be outside exploring. He is active and would love a forever home that will exercise him daily and provide him an active lifestyle. He would also do best in a standalone home with a fenced yard to explore, preferably outside the city. Kiko has done well with other dogs in our care and would be a great additional dog in a home. He would also do fine as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention. Kiko is a very strong boy, and will require adopters that are able to handle his strength. He is also incredibly smart and eager to learn, which will make training a blast! Kiko is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
FOSTER OR FORVER HOME NEEDED Meet Koala! Koala is a 2-year-old, 25 lb Australian Shepherd/Spaniel mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This beautiful girl is sweet, loyal, sensitive, and looking for the right person to build a strong bond with. Koala can be shy when meeting new people and takes a little time to open up, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she becomes affectionate, playful, and deeply devoted to her person. She would love nothing more than to be someone’s loyal little sidekick. She does well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, but in a home environment she can show some resource guarding behaviors surrounding her person. Because of this, Koala is looking for confident, experienced adopters—preferably with rescue dog or working breed experience—who understand boundaries, structure, and behavior management and can continue helping her work through those tendencies in a positive, consistent way. As she settles in and gains confidence, Koala’s playful and energetic personality starts to shine through. She’s smart, observant, and forms strong attachments to the people she trusts most. Koala is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give her the guidance, leadership, and security she needs to thrive. In return, she’ll be an incredibly loyal and loving companion. If you’re experienced with sensitive, intelligent dogs and looking for a devoted little best friend, Koala might just be your perfect match! Koala is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Stetson! Stetson is a 2-year-old, 62 lb Australian Shepherd/Collie mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. He’s a big, sweet, teddy-bear of a dog with a beautiful coat and looking to be someone’s next adventure buddy! This handsome boy is smart, treat-motivated, and very active. He’ll need an adopter with herding-breed/large dog experience who’s excited to work with him mentally and physically. Stetson enjoys training, loves being with his people, and would thrive in a home that offers daily exercise, structure, and continued training! Stetson does well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine sibling, but he could also do well as an only dog as long as his adopters commit to continued socialization. He’s strong and fast, and while he walks well on leash most of the time, he can pull when excited. He can also be mouthy and jump up when overstimulated, so a home with no small children is recommended — dog-savvy kids 12+ could possibly be okay. When he’s not on the move, Stetson loves rolling around in the grass, soaking up attention, and just being close to his people. He’s affectionate, goofy, and deeply loving ~ a loyal companion for the right active home! Stetson is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Animal Information:  Meet Brownie! She is a 2 year old, 29 lb female Border Collie mix (best guess) who joined us from California, along with her 3 12-week-old puppies on 06/11/2026. When our rescue partner reached out to us about the puppies, we couldn't leave mom behind.  Foster Profile: Brownie is a special gem of a girl, looking for that special gem of a family. Brownie is an incredible pup! She has stolen our hearts-- she's smart, wants to please and is great with our resident dogs. She is Such a love bug! She's potty trained and crate trained though we are working on her "feelings" about being crated and she's coming along-- no apartments considered for this reason. She couldn't be more affectionate-- regularly sitting to ask for pets and climbing into our laps to be a little lap dog. PLEASE NOTE! WE ARE A TEXAS BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY IN TEXAS AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO YOUR STATE ONCE ADOPTED. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org 🐾 Sven is a 2-year-old Border Collie/Lab mix weighing in at a handsome 53 pounds. He has the perfect combination of sweet and playful—calm and gentle around the house, but always ready for fun when it's time to play. Sven is the kind of dog who wins hearts wherever he goes. He's incredibly gentle, wonderful with kids, and has a loving personality that makes him an easy companion. He gets along well with cats too, although he may occasionally try to convince them to play like they're fellow dogs! His favorite toy is his yellow ducky pull toy, and if you're looking for the quickest way to become his best friend, give him scratches on his lower tummy or thighs. He'll happily melt into a puddle of appreciation. Sven came from a farm, and while he doesn't necessarily need acreage, he would thrive in a home with people to shower him with attention and affection. More than anything, Sven wants to be part of the family and included in all of life's adventures. If you're looking for an amazing, gentle, goofy best friend who is equal parts cuddle bug and playmate, Sven may be the perfect match for you.
