Story
Animal Information: Max is an estimated 11 week old Australian Shepherd mix puppy currently weighing approximately 10 lbs. Max was confiscated after being found with multiple broken ribs from a suspected animal abuse case. Even with this rough start, Max appears to be a pretty normal puppy. He is a bit scared of loud noises. We are so happy to be bringing Max to the Seattle area in search of his forever family. Foster Profile:  Our family has fostered Max since he was 12 weeks old. He’s currently about 25 pounds. He quickly adapted to his environment. We have two other male dogs. Max has a great disposition and gets along well with both my adult dog and my teenage dog. Max has been around kids ranging from 6 to 17 . We have a fairly busy household, and he doesn’t seem to mind. He is a joy to have around. Max is highly food-motivated, slightly alpha and can hold his own with bigger dogs with whom he plays all the time. He is a super fluffy, white and tan coat. He doesn’t show any signs of shedding yet he smells good and is fully potty trained. He hasn’t had an accident in our house in over a month. Max loves to play outside and explore like every puppy. He has great recall and will come to the word “treat” when he gets distracted. He can be crated, but prefers to sleep with the pack. In the mornings, he is super snuggly and nibbles your ears. He is such an amazing dog and will make a great companion for somebody special. I think he would do well in an active family home or a home that has other dogs. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from San Bernadino Animal Control, in partnership with ARF our rescue partner in San Bernadino, CA. WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌾🐾 Meet Emma — Your New Ranch Manager (and Couch Companion) 🐾🌾 Hi, I’m Emma 💛 3 years old and I clock in around 70 lbs, but I swear I’m a medium… I just have a big heart (and maybe a little extra fluff) 😉💛 I come with a very impressive résumé. I was raised on a ranch, so I already know how to: - Round things up (goats, cows… possibly your kids😊 ) - Supervise all outdoor activities - Keep a watchful eye on… well, everything - Keep cool when the sun's hot Basically, if there’s a job to do, I’ve already taken care of it... You’re welcome! But don’t let my strong work ethic fool you—I’ve got a soft side too. Once the “workday” is over, I’m all about hanging out with my people, soaking up love, and relaxing nearby like the loyal little shadow I am. I’ve got great manners (yes, I’m house trained 💁‍♀️), walk nicely on a leash, and I get along with dogs, kids, and even cats. I like to think of myself as a well-rounded professional. My dream home? Somewhere I can stretch my legs, have a little purpose (even if it’s just “Backyard Supervisor”), and be part of the family. I’m smart, devoted, and always aiming to do the right thing. Oh—and fair warning… you may never take the trash out or check the yard alone again. I will be assisting. I’ve waited a long time for my forever home, but I know it’s out there. And when I find my people? I’m all in. Apply today at haydudeequine.org if you're ready for the bestest girl just about any family could ask for? 🐾💛

Please note that we are a foster based rescue in TX. All of our dogs reside in foster homes in TX. We transport them to new states once adopted. ALL ADOPTERS MUST BE 21+. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hey there — I’m Astro 🚀💙 I’m a 7-week-old Great Pyrenees/Aussie/Lab mix with fluffy cream-colored fur, dreamy blue eyes, and a face that apparently makes humans immediately start talking in baby voices. I don’t really understand it yet, but I’m rolling with it. My siblings and I were rescued from a rural area outside of Bastrop, Texas after being found as strays with our mama. She was extremely skinny when we came into rescue, but she still took such good care of us. Now we’re safe, loved, and discovering that life is pretty great when you have soft blankets, full bellies, and people who adore you. I’m a sweet and curious little guy with a gentle personality and just enough puppy confidence to make exploring fun. I love waddling around investigating new things, soaking up attention, and giving my best serious “tiny polar bear” expression when people take my picture. With my mix, I’ll probably grow into a beautiful medium-to-large dog around 60–70 lbs full grown — loyal, smart, affectionate, and ready for adventures with my future family. What I’m really looking for is a home where I can grow up feeling safe, loved, and included in all the little moments of life. Someone to teach me things, cuddle me after long puppy days, and remind me that I’ll never have to survive on my own again. Until then, I’ll just keep being the fluffy blue-eyed heartbreaker of the litter. 🩵🐾

Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hey y’all! I’m Amigo! 🐾 I’m a happy-go-lucky 7-week-old Great Pyrenees x Labrador mix, and I’m the ultimate best friend in training! I came into the world with my sister Adalida and the rest of our crew as strays in Bastrop, Texas. Our mama is a Lab x Pyr mix, and while we’re not sure about dad, one thing’s for sure — I’m gonna grow up to be a sturdy, handsome boy right around 60-70 lbs. I take more after my Lab side in looks — sleek, soft cream-colored coat, floppy ears, and that classic Lab build — but I’ve got these striking blue-green eyes that everyone keeps talking about. They’re kinda mesmerizing, if I do say so myself! I’m the kind of puppy who: Loves belly rubs and zoomies around the yard Gives the sweetest, slobbery kisses Follows my people everywhere (loyalty is my middle name) Plays gently but with plenty of goofy puppy energy Melts hearts with those big blue-green eyes Even as a little guy, I’m already showing that perfect mix of Lab goofiness and Pyr calmness. I’m sweet, smart, and ready to be your constant companion — whether it’s chasing balls, hiking Texas trails, or just chilling on the couch after a long day. If you’re looking for a fun, loving, and super handsome adventure buddy who’ll be your best Amigo for life, I’m your boy! Come on and take me home — I promise I’ll be the best friend you’ve ever had. 🤠 — Amigo 💙

Story
Animal Information: Venus is a female German Shepherd/Malinois mix. Venus is the roman goddess of love. She was found as a stray with her mom and 9 siblings. She had been at the Devore animal shelter for 2 weeks and was on the euth list due to space. Thanks to a Seattle area foster stepping up to take the family in, they were all saved. We will share more about Venus her mom and siblings as they settle in. Foster Profile: Say hello to Venus, our sweet 4 month old Malinois/Shepherd mix foster pup, currently weighing 26 pounds. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, loyal, and incredibly smart best friend—Venus might be your girl. She is very connected to her people, eager to learn, and already knows sit , down, shake, spin, and place (mat)—she is currently working on roll over.:) She is very food motivated and thrives with guidance and consistency. Venus does best in a calm, predictable environment. When things get too busy, she can feel overwhelmed, but she’s learning to manage her impulses and settle. She’s dog-friendly, adventurous, and a confident pup. She is potty trained, and crate trained, though she prefers not to be crated when people are home—she’d much rather be part of the action. Venus isn’t very snuggly and is still a very mouthy puppy. With her sharp teeth, she may nip while learning boundaries, so any home with kids should be comfortable with typical puppy behavior. She is currently fostered in our home with young kids and does best with close supervision with our younger one. Older kids may be better suited to handling her. She would thrive with an active person or family—think hiking, beach days, and maybe even agility in the future. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who brings fun, beauty, heart, and brains, Venusis ready to meet you. ( Home with securely fenced yard and breed experience preferred.) We will not be considering apartments for these puppies Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Story
Kylo is seriously the best dog ever. He’s got an amazingly chill temperament for an Aussie and is really chill. He’s great on walks and I walk him off leash most of the time. Loves outdoors, hikes, water etc. (he is pretty lazy and gets pretty pooped after like 3 miles). He’s generally great with other dogs when he meets them and has only been aggressive with other dogs around his food. (He will growl trying to protect it). We unfortunately have to rehome him because of our toddler. He just plays too rough with kids and we can’t risk him hurting her, other small kids, or future kids we will have. He tends to “heard” small kids which is his instinct, but that sometimes involves nipping at their ankles. I probably would not recommend him to anyone with young kids. Besides that he’s literally the perfect dog. We are SO sad to even be considering this but feel we have to.

Jessie is the cutest little mini Aussie. She loves attention, loves to play and just loves life. She can be sassy! She is dog friendly if she wants to be. She grew up on a farm so she is used to rough play. She needs to be re-home due to my mother's health taking a turn for the worse and I already 4 dogs of my own.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet this fluffy boy, Kiko! He is a 7-year-old, 50 LB Australian Shepherd mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Kiko is a sweet, energetic boy who loves to be outside exploring. He is active and would love a forever home that will exercise him daily and provide him an active lifestyle. He would also do best in a standalone home with a fenced yard to explore, preferably outside the city. Kiko has done well with other dogs in our care and would be a great additional dog in a home. He would also do fine as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention. Kiko is a very strong boy, and will require adopters that are able to handle his strength. He is also incredibly smart and eager to learn, which will make training a blast! Kiko is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

These pups are in Bothell, Washington too!

Dog video: https://youtube.com/shorts/Qob9_pTe_jQ Cat in video: https://youtube.com/shorts/VC2qRKqs0p8?feature=share Snuggle time: https://youtu.be/Uo3TkspW3NQ Animal Information: Sunny is a 1–2 year old Border Collie/Shepherd mix weighing about 55 pounds. She is a healthy, happy young dog with a wonderful temperament. Sunny has a nice energy level; she’s active enough to enjoy walks and playtime but not overly hyper. She has very soft fur and an affectionate personality. Sunny loves being close to her people and will happily lay her head on your chest for cuddles, along with plenty of sweet kisses. Sunny is crate trained, house trained, and does well on leash. She is quiet, enjoys being around people, and settles nicely in the home. She may still need a little help learning to give clearer cues when she needs to go outside, but she is already doing very well. She gets along great with other animals and is currently living with three cats and two large dogs in her foster home without any issues.  Foster Profile: Sunny is an absolute gem! She has been a wonderful sweet loving pup  who is slow to warm-- initially shy but fairly quickly becomes friendly which is very typical of her breed mix . She is curious and gentle around people and currently curious about other dogs from a distance. Sunny is Very energetic, typical of her breed and currently goes on two to three hours of walks each day-- she would love an active family who hikes or runs and is also willing to maybe engage her brain with agility or flyable or barn hunt or sheep herding-- tiring her out will include engaging her brain, nit just her muscles. Breed experience is a must. she enjoys playing in the house and is a lovely leaner and paw giver when seeking attention. She does have an off switch, but she's a fast recharge. Sunny does well in her crate and understands it as a safe space. Sunny is not very vocal in terms of barking, but has a brief whimper initially when left at home. She needs time to warm up to you on her own or she may give a low growl to let you know to give her a moment. Sunny is working on her leash manners and will need continued guidance in this area and we are working on it. o far, Sunny rides very well in the car and is calm while occasionally looking out the window. Sunny knows sit and of and give paw, and se also responds well to hand signals. Sunny seeks attention and enjoys snuggling and being close and could use some training on How To Chill. She will need structure and activities, because she is a smart cookie.                                                                                                              Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Story
Animal Profile: Buddy is a 4.5-year-old Doodle (1/2 Border Collie 1/2 Standard Poodle). He was purchased from a breeder prior to his owners having children. Buddy is a friendly but slightly anxious guy who has not adjusted well to having a toddler in the home. His family invested in a 4-week board and train with a local dog trainer in hopes that it would help Buddy feel more comfortable around small toddlers. Buddy completed his training; he has excellent house and leash manners, is house trained, crate trained; and knows the ‘place’ command. Unfortunately he was still too uncomfortable around the kids after training, and his family decided it was best to find him a new home. Buddy has been trained using balanced methods, including e collar for off leash reliability. Buddy does great at doggy daycare, but does have some resource guarding around food and select toys when it comes to other dogs. While he enjoys his dog friends, we think he’d be happiest as an only dog. Buddy has not lived with cats. Buddy is currently in foster care with a balanced trainer, and doing well. Foster Update: coming soon! Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which includes his neuter, core vaccinations,  DPPV, Bordetella, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian. WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org ✨🐾 Meet Lady — Gentle Soul, Quiet Companion, Blossoming Beauty 🐾✨ Hi… I’m Lady 💛 I’m about 10 months old, 25 pounds, and if I’m being honest… I’m still figuring this big, busy world out. I may be a little shy when we first meet—you might have to come get me (I like to pretend it’s a game of “you can’t catch me,” but I promise I’m not very committed to winning 😅). Once you do, though? I melt. Soft pets, kind voices, and gentle patience are my absolute favorite things. I’m what they call a “gentle heart.” I don’t have a mean bone in my body—just a sensitive soul who wants to feel safe and loved. And once I do? Oh… I start to shine. ✨ I love other dogs—they help me feel brave and show me that everything’s going to be okay. Having a confident canine friend in my forever home would be like having my own emotional support buddy. Some of my favorite things: - Going on walks (I’m actually really good on a leash!) - Checking in to make sure you’re still there… because you’re important 💛 - Quietly hanging out near you like your polite little shadow - Learning that the world isn’t so scary after all I’m not the chaotic, zoomy type—I’m more of a “let’s take a peaceful walk and then sit together in comfortable silence” kind of girl. Think cozy companion, not party animal. Because I’m still building my confidence, I’d do best in a calmer home without small children. Lots of noise and fast movement can feel overwhelming for me—but with patience, love, and time, I’m blossoming more every single day. 🌼 What I really need is someone who sees me—not just the shy beginnings, but the loving, loyal dog I’m becoming. Someone who will go at my pace, celebrate my little victories, and let me grow into the confident girl I’m meant to be. I promise, I’m worth the wait. So if you’ve got a kind heart, a little patience, and maybe a friendly dog who wouldn’t mind showing me the ropes… I’d love to be your Lady. Apply today at haydudeequine.org 🐾💛
