Story
Animal Information: Max is an estimated 11 week old Australian Shepherd mix puppy currently weighing approximately 10 lbs. Max was confiscated after being found with multiple broken ribs from a suspected animal abuse case. Even with this rough start, Max appears to be a pretty normal puppy. He is a bit scared of loud noises. We are so happy to be bringing Max to the Seattle area in search of his forever family. Foster Profile:  Our family has fostered Max since he was 12 weeks old. He’s currently about 25 pounds. He quickly adapted to his environment. We have two other male dogs. Max has a great disposition and gets along well with both my adult dog and my teenage dog. Max has been around kids ranging from 6 to 17 . We have a fairly busy household, and he doesn’t seem to mind. He is a joy to have around. Max is highly food-motivated, slightly alpha and can hold his own with bigger dogs with whom he plays all the time. He is a super fluffy, white and tan coat. He doesn’t show any signs of shedding yet he smells good and is fully potty trained. He hasn’t had an accident in our house in over a month. Max loves to play outside and explore like every puppy. He has great recall and will come to the word “treat” when he gets distracted. He can be crated, but prefers to sleep with the pack. In the mornings, he is super snuggly and nibbles your ears. He is such an amazing dog and will make a great companion for somebody special. I think he would do well in an active family home or a home that has other dogs. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter (on contract, if applicable), core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from San Bernadino Animal Control, in partnership with ARF our rescue partner in San Bernadino, CA. He was transferred via START, arriving to foster care on 2/5/2026 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.May 1, 2026, 4:54 pm

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌾🐾 Meet Emma — Your New Ranch Manager (and Couch Companion) 🐾🌾 Hi, I’m Emma 💛 3 years old and I clock in around 70 lbs, but I swear I’m a medium… I just have a big heart (and maybe a little extra fluff) 😉💛 I come with a very impressive résumé. I was raised on a ranch, so I already know how to: - Round things up (goats, cows… possibly your kids😊 ) - Supervise all outdoor activities - Keep a watchful eye on… well, everything - Keep cool when the sun's hot Basically, if there’s a job to do, I’ve already taken care of it... You’re welcome! But don’t let my strong work ethic fool you—I’ve got a soft side too. Once the “workday” is over, I’m all about hanging out with my people, soaking up love, and relaxing nearby like the loyal little shadow I am. I’ve got great manners (yes, I’m house trained 💁‍♀️), walk nicely on a leash, and I get along with dogs, kids, and even cats. I like to think of myself as a well-rounded professional. My dream home? Somewhere I can stretch my legs, have a little purpose (even if it’s just “Backyard Supervisor”), and be part of the family. I’m smart, devoted, and always aiming to do the right thing. Oh—and fair warning… you may never take the trash out or check the yard alone again. I will be assisting. I’ve waited a long time for my forever home, but I know it’s out there. And when I find my people? I’m all in. Apply today at haydudeequine.org if you're ready for the bestest girl just about any family could ask for? 🐾💛

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet this fluffy boy, Kiko! He is a 7-year-old, 50 LB Australian Shepherd mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Kiko is a sweet, energetic boy who loves to be outside exploring. He is active and would love a forever home that will exercise him daily and provide him an active lifestyle. He would also do best in a standalone home with a fenced yard to explore, preferably outside the city. Kiko has done well with other dogs in our care and would be a great additional dog in a home. He would also do fine as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention. Kiko is a very strong boy, and will require adopters that are able to handle his strength. He is also incredibly smart and eager to learn, which will make training a blast! Kiko is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Stetson! Stetson is a 2-year-old, 62 lb Australian Shepherd/Collie mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. He’s a big, sweet, teddy-bear of a dog with a beautiful coat and looking to be someone’s next adventure buddy! This handsome boy is smart, treat-motivated, and very active. He’ll need an adopter with herding-breed/large dog experience who’s excited to work with him mentally and physically. Stetson enjoys training, loves being with his people, and would thrive in a home that offers daily exercise, structure, and continued training! Stetson does well with other dogs and would enjoy having a canine sibling, but he could also do well as an only dog as long as his adopters commit to continued socialization. He’s strong and fast, and while he walks well on leash most of the time, he can pull when excited. He can also be mouthy and jump up when overstimulated, so a home with no small children is recommended — dog-savvy kids 12+ could possibly be okay. When he’s not on the move, Stetson loves rolling around in the grass, soaking up attention, and just being close to his people. He’s affectionate, goofy, and deeply loving ~ a loyal companion for the right active home! Stetson is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Say hello to this sweet boy, Powder! He is a 40lb, ~1 year-old, Aussie mix, who came to us from a high kill shelter in CA. He is deaf and partially blind, and will require a family who is prepared for these special needs. Despite his lack of certain senses, Powder is an amazingly sweet and happy boy. He loves people and attention and will bond deeply. Powder is amazing with dogs of all sizes and feels much more confident around them as they can help make up for his lack of hearing and sight. He will require another dog in his forever home. Powder will need a family that can help him get used to his home and routine so he can know what to expect in his day to day as he cannot adapt as quickly to new environments as hearing/seeing dogs. He can be a little spooked in new environments and will thrive in a home that can help him build trust and confidence. Powder is truly an amazing dog that will make his forever family very happy. He would love a home that will play with him, and spoil him with lots of affection and love. He is crated trained and smart! We are recommending a home without small children, as he would do best in a calmer home and environment. Powder is neutered, microchipped and UTD on shots. His adoption fee is $400.

Dog video: https://youtube.com/shorts/Qob9_pTe_jQ Cat in video: https://youtube.com/shorts/VC2qRKqs0p8?feature=share Snuggle time: https://youtu.be/Uo3TkspW3NQ Animal Information: Sunny is a 1–2 year old Border Collie/Shepherd mix weighing about 55 pounds. She is a healthy, happy young dog with a wonderful temperament. Sunny has a nice energy level; she’s active enough to enjoy walks and playtime but not overly hyper. She has very soft fur and an affectionate personality. Sunny loves being close to her people and will happily lay her head on your chest for cuddles, along with plenty of sweet kisses. Sunny is crate trained, house trained, and does well on leash. She is quiet, enjoys being around people, and settles nicely in the home. She may still need a little help learning to give clearer cues when she needs to go outside, but she is already doing very well. She gets along great with other animals and is currently living with three cats and two large dogs in her foster home without any issues.  Foster Profile: Sunny is an absolute gem! She has been a wonderful sweet loving pup  who is slow to warm-- initially shy but fairly quickly becomes friendly which is very typical of her breed mix . She is curious and gentle around people and currently curious about other dogs from a distance. Sunny is Very energetic, typical of her breed and currently goes on two to three hours of walks each day-- she would love an active family who hikes or runs and is also willing to maybe engage her brain with agility or flyable or barn hunt or sheep herding-- tiring her out will include engaging her brain, nit just her muscles. Breed experience is a must. she enjoys playing in the house and is a lovely leaner and paw giver when seeking attention. She does have an off switch, but she's a fast recharge. Sunny does well in her crate and understands it as a safe space. Sunny is not very vocal in terms of barking, but has a brief whimper initially when left at home. She needs time to warm up to you on her own or she may give a low growl to let you know to give her a moment. Sunny is working on her leash manners and will need continued guidance in this area and we are working on it. o far, Sunny rides very well in the car and is calm while occasionally looking out the window. Sunny knows sit and of and give paw, and se also responds well to hand signals. Sunny seeks attention and enjoys snuggling and being close and could use some training on How To Chill. She will need structure and activities, because she is a smart cookie.                                                                                                              Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Story
Animal Profile: Buddy is a 4.5-year-old Doodle (1/2 Border Collie 1/2 Standard Poodle). He was purchased from a breeder prior to his owners having children. Buddy is a friendly but slightly anxious guy who has not adjusted well to having a toddler in the home. His family invested in a 4-week board and train with a local dog trainer in hopes that it would help Buddy feel more comfortable around small toddlers. Buddy completed his training; he has excellent house and leash manners, is house trained, crate trained; and knows the ‘place’ command. Unfortunately he was still too uncomfortable around the kids after training, and his family decided it was best to find him a new home. Buddy has been trained using balanced methods, including e collar for off leash reliability. Buddy does great at doggy daycare, but does have some resource guarding around food and select toys when it comes to other dogs. While he enjoys his dog friends, we think he’d be happiest as an only dog. Buddy has not lived with cats. Buddy is currently in foster care with a balanced trainer, and doing well. Foster Update: coming soon! Adoption Info: The adoption fee is $550 which includes his neuter, core vaccinations,  DPPV, Bordetella, microchip, and recent health check with a veterinarian.
