This sweet girl may be a little shy at first, but give her time and patience, and you’ll start to see the special personality hiding beneath that initial uncertainty.Koala can be anxious and slow to warm up to new people, so she’s looking for someone who understands that trust takes time. She isn’t necessarily going to show you her whole personality during your first meeting, but with a calm, patient approach and a little consistency, she has the ability to form strong bonds with her person.Koala is looking for a home where she can be the queen of the castle! While she can do well around other dogs, she prefers to be the only dog in her home and can become protective of her person around canine housemates. She also needs a home without cats or children, where life can be calm, stable, and predictable.Her ideal home would be a quieter environment with a little yard where she can stretch her legs, play, and enjoy some outdoor time without feeling overwhelmed. She would love a person who enjoys taking her for walks and spending quality time together. Apartment living and busy, overstimulating environments are not the best fit for this sensitive girl.Koala may need a little extra time to feel at home, but for someone who appreciates a quieter companion and is willing to let a relationship develop at her pace, she could become a deeply loyal best friend. Sometimes, the best kind of love is the kind you build slowly, one little step at a time.Koala is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.
