FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet this fluffy boy, Kiko! He is a 7-year-old, 50 LB Australian Shepherd mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Kiko is a sweet, energetic boy who loves to be outside exploring. He is active and would love a forever home that will exercise him daily and provide him an active lifestyle. He would also do best in a standalone home with a fenced yard to explore, preferably outside the city. Kiko has done well with other dogs in our care and would be a great additional dog in a home. He would also do fine as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention. Kiko is a very strong boy, and will require adopters that are able to handle his strength. He is also incredibly smart and eager to learn, which will make training a blast! Kiko is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
FOSTER OR FORVER HOME NEEDED Meet Koala! Koala is a 2-year-old, 25 lb Australian Shepherd/Spaniel mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This beautiful girl is sweet, loyal, sensitive, and looking for the right person to build a strong bond with. Koala can be shy when meeting new people and takes a little time to open up, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she becomes affectionate, playful, and deeply devoted to her person. She would love nothing more than to be someone’s loyal little sidekick. She does well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, but in a home environment she can show some resource guarding behaviors surrounding her person. Because of this, Koala is looking for confident, experienced adopters—preferably with rescue dog or working breed experience—who understand boundaries, structure, and behavior management and can continue helping her work through those tendencies in a positive, consistent way. As she settles in and gains confidence, Koala’s playful and energetic personality starts to shine through. She’s smart, observant, and forms strong attachments to the people she trusts most. Koala is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give her the guidance, leadership, and security she needs to thrive. In return, she’ll be an incredibly loyal and loving companion. If you’re experienced with sensitive, intelligent dogs and looking for a devoted little best friend, Koala might just be your perfect match! Koala is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Bruno! Bruno is a 2-year-old, 37 lb Australian Shepherd who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This handsome boy is full of personality and is looking for an active family to share all of life’s adventures with! Bruno is sweet, goofy, and always ready to have fun. He has a happy, playful spirit that makes him a joy to be around, and he loves spending time with both people and other dogs. Whether he’s heading out for a walk, exploring a new trail, or simply hanging out with his family, Bruno is happiest when he’s included in the action. As an active young Aussie, Bruno will thrive in a home that can provide him with regular exercise, mental enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to learn and explore. He’s a smart boy who will enjoy continuing his training and building an even stronger bond with his forever family. Bruno has done well with other dogs and would love a canine companion to play with and help keep him socialized. He could also do well as an only dog, provided his adopters are committed to continuing his socialization and giving him lots of opportunities to get out and experience the world. FOREVER HOME NEEDED (currently in foster care) Meet Rancher! Rancher is a 7-month-old, 30 lb Australian Shepherd mix puppy who is very bright and has all the potential to become an incredible partner for an active, experienced home. This handsome boy is exactly what you’d expect from a young herding breed—smart, observant, and always ready to learn. Rancher thrives when he has a job to do and loves working alongside his handler. He quickly picks up on new tasks, enjoys learning, and would be an excellent candidate for agility, obedience, trick training, or any activity that keeps both his mind and body engaged. Rancher is active, playful, and well-socialized with other dogs. He loves having canine friends and would thrive in a home with another playful, similarly sized or larger dog to wrestle, learn from, and burn energy with. He also loves the water and is always up for an adventure! Rancher is looking for a very hands-on adopter who understands the needs of working breeds. He’ll do best with someone who is committed to continuing his training, providing daily exercise, and giving him plenty of mental enrichment. He would especially enjoy a home where someone is around much of the time and can dedicate the time and consistency he needs to reach his full potential. Due to his strong natural herding instincts, high prey drive, and hard mouth when it comes to small animals, he is best suited to a home without small pets and children. Rancher is doing well with his house training and is mostly housetrained when given regular opportunities to go outside. Rancher is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $650.

FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Missy! Missy is an 8-month-old, 26 lb Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter. This sweet girl is looking for a patient family that will help her continue building confidence and give her a life full of adventure! Missy can be a little shy when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar situations, but once she feels safe, she forms deep bonds with her people. She has a playful side that shines once she’s comfortable and absolutely loves spending time with other dogs. Because she’s still gaining confidence, Missy is looking for a quieter home a little outside the hustle and bustle of the city where she can settle in at her own pace. We are looking for a standalone home with a securely fenced yard for her. Missy would love to have another playful, confident, well-adjusted dog in the home to help show her the ropes, continue building her confidence, and be her full-time playmate. She thrives with canine companionship and will benefit greatly from having a positive role model. Missy is smart, eager to learn, and will do best with adopters who are committed to continuing her training, keeping her mentally engaged, and providing plenty of daily exercise and adventures. Story
Meet Hickory! Hickory is a 1½-year-old, 38 lb Australian Shepherd who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. Hickory is a stunning young Aussie with a heart as big as her personality. She arrived a bit underweight, and we’re helping her get back to full strength. Her future family will need to continue that journey to keep her happy, healthy, and thriving. Hickory is the definition of a Velcro dog. She is incredibly loyal and wants to be by your side at all times—whether you’re in the kitchen, on the couch, or even brushing your teeth. If you’re looking for a constant companion, Hickory is your girl. She’s affectionate, loving, and a total snuggler who will happily curl up next to (or on top of!) you whenever she gets the chance. She would do best in a home where someone is home much of the time. Hickory has a medium-to-high energy level and loves to run, play, and chase a ball in the yard. She’d thrive with an active adopter who enjoys walks and hikes, outdoor adventures and playtime in a fenced yard. Hickory is housebroken, walks well on leash (no pulling!), rides great in the car, is very smart and responsive to verbal cues, and is highly treat-motivated and eager to learn. She is not fully crate trained but has a great foundation and will benefit from continued training or be allowed to roam freely in the home. We are looking for a standalone home outside of the city with a fully fenced yard where she can run and play. No apartments or busy city life for her. Hickory can be friendly with other dogs but has shown dominant behaviors and can resource guard her person. Because of this, she will need a confident owner who can help her with this behavior. She would do best as the only dog in the home with continued socialization or she could possibly do well with a calm, confident male dog. If you’re searching for a dog who will adore you endlessly, follow you everywhere, and be your partner in both adventure and relaxation—Hickory is it. She’s the kind of dog who forms a deep bond and will truly become your shadow and best friend. Hickory is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.

Story
Meet Sage! Sage is an adorable 7-month-old Australian Shepherd with a bright mind, an adventurous spirit, and endless potential. Like many young herding breeds, she's incredibly intelligent, curious, athletic, and always ready for her next adventure. Whether she's splashing in the water, running through the yard, or learning something new, Sage approaches life with enthusiasm and a happy attitude. Sage is a playful puppy who loves spending time with other dogs and has been well socialized. She would thrive in a home with another young, playful dog that enjoys wrestling and playing. Because she's still learning appropriate play skills, she can sometimes play with a hard mouth or become a little too intense during exciting play sessions. She may also display some dominant behaviors with dogs her own size, so she'll need an experienced owner who can continue to guide her and reinforce good manners. As an active, energetic puppy, Sage needs plenty of daily physical exercise and mental enrichment. She loves to run, enjoys the water, and is an enthusiastic chewer, so appropriate chew toys and activities are a must. She is mostly house-trained when kept on a consistent schedule and will continue to succeed with routine and patience. Sage is looking for an active family committed to continuing her obedience training and helping her mature into the incredible companion she's meant to be. She would do best in a home outside the city with a securely fenced yard where she has room to run and explore. Apartments and condos are not the right fit for her energy level. Because of her exuberant puppy nature, Sage is best suited for a home with children ages 13 and older. She would also do well with someone who is home much of the time and can dedicate the time, structure, and consistency she needs during this important stage of her life. With the right family, Sage will grow into a loyal, loving, and adventurous companion who is always ready to join in on hikes, outdoor activities, and everyday adventures. Sage is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $650.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Sundance! Sundance is a stunning 1.5-year-old, 45 lb Border Collie who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. Sundance is highly intelligent, people-oriented, and eager to please his handler. He already knows commands such as sit, down, and shake, and he is extremely trainable and motivated to learn more! He does well with other dogs and would benefit from living with another playful canine companion, ideally a female, to help keep him well-socialized. Sundance will require continued training and savvy handling, but in the right environment, he is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and bonded with his people! Sundance is not a city dog. He will do best in a suburban or rural setting with a fully fenced yard (no apartments, condos, or busy urban environments). He is seeking a structured, predictable home with a solid routine as well as an adult-only home, with no children and no cats. This beautiful boy would thrive with an active adopter who enjoys adventures, training, and truly partnering with their dog. In return, Sundance offers loyalty, intelligence, affection, and the kind of connection that makes herding dogs so special! If you have experience with herding breeds and are looking for a driven, loving companion who wants to work alongside you, Sundance may be your perfect match! Story
Meet Charlie – A Gentle Soul Looking for His Safe Place (currently in foster care) Charlie is a 2.5-year-old, 30 lb Mini Aussie Doodle with a tender heart and a quiet spirit. He’s searching for a patient, understanding adopter who will give him the time and consistency he needs to feel safe and truly at home. Charlie walks well on a leash, sticking right by your side and looking to his person for security and guidance. While he may be shy at first, there’s a deeply loyal companion waiting to emerge once he learns to trust you. Charlie is a very sensitive boy. Loud noises, sudden movements, and new environments can be overwhelming for him, so he will need a calm, structured home where routines are predictable. He’s especially nervous around new people and prefers to go at his own pace—he’ll come to you when he’s ready, and that trust is incredibly rewarding to earn. One thing that truly helps Charlie shine is other dogs, as he gains confidence by following their lead. Because of this, he must have another young, confident dog in the home to help him feel secure and continue building his confidence. Charlie’s ideal home: • Quiet, standalone house (no apartments or busy city environments) • Securely fenced 6-foot yard • Adults only; no children • A patient adopter willing to let him move at his pace (he tends to bond most closely with women) • Someone home most of the time • Another friendly, confident dog He is still working on potty training and will need gentle guidance and consistency. Charlie also isn’t the type to jump right into cuddles—he prefers to take things slow and will build a deep bond with his person over time. At night, he sleeps peacefully in his dog bed right next to yours. If you have a calm home, a kind heart, and the patience to let a shy dog blossom at his own pace, Charlie could become your most devoted companion. Charlie is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $600.
