FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Lincoln! He is a very high energy, active and sweet 2-year-old, 40 lb Australian Shepherd. He is a happy boy and loves to get attention from his people! He will do great with a family that understands herding dogs and their needs. He can be strong willed and is still working on basic obedience and will need a family that will continue his training. He is working on not jumping up and mouthing right now so he needs an adult only home or a home with kids over 14. He is super sweet, but he has a lot of happy and unfocused energy. He is very smart and will thrive with training. He would love to be in a home in a suburban or rural neighborhood with a securely fenced yard for him to run and play. He will do best in a home where someone is home much of the time. He likes other dogs but can play very rough with them and would rather spend time with his humans so for that reason we are looking for a home for him as an only dog or with another dog who is able to handle his rough play. He will need an adopter that will keep him physically and mentally active and would make a great jogging or adventure buddy. He is up to date on all of his vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Fury! He is a 9-year-old, 55 lb Blue Merle AKC registered Australian Shepherd who was surrendered to us as his owner could no longer care for him. Fury loves to be petted, pampered and groomed. He likes to play by himself with soccer balls and plushie toys, he tosses then around and chases them independently. He loves to lounge in the sunshine. Fury would like to find himself his very own retirement home where he can be an only dog with his own securely fenced yard to relax in during the day, and a cozy kennel at night. He would do best in a home where he can be the only pet. He walks well on a leash for the most part but can be leash reactive and he does not care for other male dogs or dogs who get in his face on leash. He will lunge at cars that pass by as his herding breed instinct takes over. For this reason, he would do best in a quiet suburban or rural neighborhood. He’s been gentle with the young child in his previous home under supervision but nips at the butts of anyone who runs next to him so it is recommended that he goes to an adult only home or with children over 12. When feeding time comes around, he acts as if he is going to be food aggressive/possessive by growling and sounding scary but is really just a marshmallow with no follow through. Fury is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $350.

Cricket is initially shy and will need a patient adopter as she learns to trust again. She walks well on a leash, sticking right by your side but is easily startled and we are looking for a home for her outside of the city in a quiet neighborhood. She is crate trained and takes treats gently. She gets along great with other dogs and they give her confidence. Meet Magellan! He had been living on the street for a few months when someone asked if we could take him in. He’s sooooo happy and bouncy! He weighs 51 pounds and is about a year old, still a baby with sparkling white teeth! He is GREAT with the other dogs in the yard and so he is able to run free with the front yard pack. He has a chill disposition and isn’t dominant with the other dogs. Believe it or not, sometimes street dogs can be more well adjusted than a dog that is owner surrendered! He’s probably even good with cats, we can always cat test any dog! Magellan loves to play! Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Black Diamond, WA Meet Wrigley! He is an 6 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 50 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Wrigley is fearful of strangers! He is good with older children! No dogs, due to his reactivity! He hasn’t been tested around younger children or cats. Wrigley has bitten 3 people. When he was around 2 years old, he ran out the front door and bit the delivery man on the ankle, while he was standing on the owner’s porch. He bit a stranger two years ago who entered the owner’s home. This week, the dog sitter had a stranger enter the owner’s home through the front door. The dog sitter opened the crate and Wrigley bit the stranger on the leg. The dog sitter attempted to remove Wrangley, but Wrangley bit him on the hand. Wrigley barks and gets agitated at the fence when he can hear the neighbors and their dogs. He gets trazodone for car rides, due to his anxiety. The owner is surrendering him because of his bite incidents that were caused by situational triggers. The owner is unable to be home most of the time, due to their work schedule. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Wrigley, please contact the owner listed below. He is very high energy and needs an experienced adopter that can continue his training. He is brilliant and eager to learn— he loves treats of all kinds and responds very well to learning new commands. Currently he follows the sit and lay down commands consistently, and is coming when called without distractions. He gets very excited at new people and jumps when greeting them. For the time that I’ve had him he has only ever slept in the bed with me, and he loves cuddling. He will come to you with a harness and leash, and large crate if you would like— although he hasn’t been crate trained and uses a “carseat” during travel. He doesn’t like getting into vehicles and still shows signs of separation anxiety. He is such a sweet and sincere and faithful and playful boy. I’ll miss him with all of my heart and I’m hoping somebody can provide the space to run and the attention to finish training that he needs.

Archie is an active and happy dog. He loves doing any activities like running, hiking, doing long walks, playing fetch. He is trained, knows many commands. He is good with cats, he lived with cat in our household. He is healthy, up to date on all his shots. We have always kept him up to date on his vaccines and did regular blood and fecal tests. He is house trained, does all his business outside. We are looking a new home for him as he has hard time adjusting to having a kid in the house. He is very stressed when hour daughter is crying or just running and screaming around the house. We thought he just needs some time, but it is not getting better. He loves our daughter, he is not bad with her in any way. We don't want to give him any antidepressants or sedatives to help him. That is why we made this decision to find a new home for him. It is heartbreaking for us, he is our family member, and this option is the last resort for us. He is just 6,5 years old and has plenty of years ahead.

She will build trust with her people after a period of time spent together and trust building, but she is not a ‘people’ dog with new people. She is definitely a dog's dog. She prefers to be with her dog friends and spends her days out in a play yard with 5-7 other dogs. Keira will need a home that understands and is ok with the fact she is not a super lovey dog that will want human attention all the time. Keira will do best in an adult only home that is patient in building her trust and ok with her being aloof and doing her own thing at times. She is well mannered and does great hanging out in a fenced yard with her dog friends. She is super active and loves to run around in her current large play yard with other dogs. Keira will thrive in a home with a large fenced yard outside of the city. She is not an apartment/condo/townhome dog. Keira requires at least one other dog around her size in the home, and herding breed experience. She would thrive in a more rural setting with a large fenced yard. Keira is UTD on shots, spayed, and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.
