He is deaf and partially blind, and will require a family who is prepared for these special needs. Despite his lack of certain senses, Powder is an amazingly sweet and happy boy. He loves people and attention and will bond deeply. Powder is amazing with dogs of all sizes and feels much more confident around them as they can help make up for his lack of hearing and sight. He will require another dog in his forever home. Powder will need a family that can help him get used to his home and routine so he can know what to expect in his day to day as he cannot adapt as quickly to new environments as hearing/seeing dogs. He can be a little spooked in new environments and will thrive in a home that can help him build trust and confidence. Powder is truly an amazing dog that will make his forever family very happy.
