Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED ❤️ After spending the last 5 years in our care, this incredibly sweet girl deserves to know what it’s like to have a loving home of her own. Chica is a 50–55 lb, approximately 6-year-old Shepherd mix who is more than ready to find the family she’s been waiting for. Chica is a happy, active girl who would love a family that enjoys walks, hikes, or outdoor adventures. Once she’s had some exercise, she’s perfectly content to relax and lounge with her people. A securely fenced yard where she can run, play, and soak up the sunshine would be a dream come true for her. It’s clear Chica was once someone’s beloved companion. She knows several basic commands—including “shake!”—and is incredibly smart, attentive, and eager to please. She’s well-mannered, enjoys spending time with her people, and even sits patiently for baths and the blow dryer! Chica can be leash-reactive around other dogs, so she’ll do best with an experienced adopter who understands dog behavior and is committed to continuing her training. She has made wonderful progress with us and continues to improve every day. While she prefers to be the only dog in the home, she is able to walk around other dogs successfully with proper handling. Chica is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $350. If you’ve been looking for a loyal, loving companion and are willing to give this deserving girl the chance she’s waited so long for, Chica just might be your perfect match.

Story
Taiga is a loving, obedient, and loyal dog who enjoys walks, naps, and playing with other dogs. She began wandering through the neighborhood where her foster lives, approaching gently each day for food. She had several pregnancies while living outdoors. One day she settled in the front yard and gave birth to a single puppy. Then her foster decided it was time to bring her inside so she could finally be safe and cared for.Taiga is friendly, social, and an excellent companion. Her ideal home includes other dogs, active people, and a yard. She should not live with cats or small animals she might view as prey. She is ready for a family who will appreciate her calm loyalty and sweet nature. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

Named after My Little Pony for their friendly and happiness! These 5 playful puppies are full of personality, silliness, and nonstop fun. Whether they’re bouncing around the yard, pouncing on their siblings, or “talking” to you with their adorable little puppy noises, this crew knows how to keep everyone entertained. These babies LOVE to help with everything — even if their version of helping means stealing your hoodie strings, tugging on your pajama pants, or turning laundry time into a full wrestling match. Tug-of-war is their favorite sport, and they are always ready for playtime and adventures. When they finally tire themselves out, they’re happy to pile up together for cuddles and naps. If you’re looking for goofy best friends that will keep you laughing, keep you on your toes, and fill your home with love, this magical little litter is ready to gallop straight into your heart! FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet this fluffy boy, Kiko! He is a 7-year-old, 50 LB Australian Shepherd mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. Kiko is a sweet, energetic boy who loves to be outside exploring. He is active and would love a forever home that will exercise him daily and provide him an active lifestyle. He would also do best in a standalone home with a fenced yard to explore, preferably outside the city. Kiko has done well with other dogs in our care and would be a great additional dog in a home. He would also do fine as an only dog, soaking up all the love and attention. Kiko is a very strong boy, and will require adopters that are able to handle his strength. He is also incredibly smart and eager to learn, which will make training a blast! Kiko is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Ty! Ty is an 11-month-old, 25 lb Cattle Dog/Shepherd mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This handsome young pup is as smart as he is sweet and is looking for an active family that will help him reach his incredible potential. Ty is a happy, affectionate boy who loves being with his people. He’s super cuddly, playful, and has a submissive, easygoing nature with other dogs. He’s done well with canine companions and would love another friendly dog in the home to be his playmate and adventure buddy. He could also thrive as an only dog, provided his family is committed to keeping him well-socialized and giving him plenty of opportunities to interact with the world around him. Ty is incredibly intelligent, eager to learn, and highly motivated to work with his handler. He loves learning new things and will do well in a home that enjoys training and keeping him mentally engaged. He would be an excellent candidate for continued obedience, agility, trick training, or any activity that allows him to use both his brain and his body. Ty is also an active young dog who will do best with a family that enjoys daily walks, hikes, adventures, and an outgoing lifestyle. He’s looking for people who will make him part of the action and continue building his confidence and skills through positive experiences. Ty has not yet been tested with cats. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, and fun-loving companion who’s eager to learn and ready to be your sidekick on every adventure, Ty is ready to meet you! Ty is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
FOSTER OR FORVER HOME NEEDED Meet Koala! Koala is a 2-year-old, 25 lb Australian Shepherd/Spaniel mix who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter. This beautiful girl is sweet, loyal, sensitive, and looking for the right person to build a strong bond with. Koala can be shy when meeting new people and takes a little time to open up, but once she feels safe and comfortable, she becomes affectionate, playful, and deeply devoted to her person. She would love nothing more than to be someone’s loyal little sidekick. She does well with other dogs and enjoys playing with them, but in a home environment she can show some resource guarding behaviors surrounding her person. Because of this, Koala is looking for confident, experienced adopters—preferably with rescue dog or working breed experience—who understand boundaries, structure, and behavior management and can continue helping her work through those tendencies in a positive, consistent way. As she settles in and gains confidence, Koala’s playful and energetic personality starts to shine through. She’s smart, observant, and forms strong attachments to the people she trusts most. Koala is looking for a patient, understanding home that will give her the guidance, leadership, and security she needs to thrive. In return, she’ll be an incredibly loyal and loving companion. If you’re experienced with sensitive, intelligent dogs and looking for a devoted little best friend, Koala might just be your perfect match! Koala is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption fee is $500.
