He is currently receiving oriental medical rehabilitation (acupuncture/physical therapy). His activity levels and walk durations should be adjusted based on his daily condition.2️⃣ Rescue Story* Miracle arrived at the Gimje Shelter with fractures in both hind legs and his spine. Is a total sweetheart who will approach strangers first with plenty of charm. His favorite spot is sitting right on a human's lap. Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Nareum 💙 ADOGS Instagram: @_adogs_ 1. Medical History * Spayed * Microchipped, and heartworm negative. 2. Rescue Story * Nareum was staying at the Gimje Shelter, waiting for a family while enduring an environment highly vulnerable to infectious diseases. Sadly, no one reached out to help her. Unable to leave her behind in such harsh conditions, Adogs stepped in and rescued her to give a chance at a bright future. 3. Personality & Characteristics * Interaction with People: Is shy around strangers. Is curious about people and shows interest from a distance, but physical touch is difficult for her right now. However, if you're holding a treat, she will approach, stand up on her hind legs, and eagerly ask for it! Will also take treats directly from your hand. If someone approaches her too quickly, she runs away, and if someone tries to suddenly pick her up or pet her, she may give a soft warning bite ("nip") before fleeing. Even with familiar people, touch is currently limited to a gentle tap on her nose when she approaches first. While she feels comfortable around people she knows, she doesn't easily allow physical touch yet. * Interaction with Dog: Loves making dog friends! Proactively approaches new dogs and makes friends easily at the center. Gets along great even with dogs that are overly energetic or lack manners, playing right along with them. If another dog expresses discomfort, she gently steps away rather than acting aggressively—she's a true gentle soul. * Interaction with Cat: When she sees cats outside the play area, she silently watches them with curiosity. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown at the moment since she is currently living in a group setting at the center. Will need training from scratch once she moves into a home. * Potty Training: Currently uses both indoor pads and outdoor spaces at the center. Potty training will need to start fresh in a new home environment. * Hygiene Care: Is not yet used to grooming routines like brushing or nail trimming. Tends to run away when you try to hold her for these, so needs a bit more time and patience. * Walks: We attempted walks, but she squirmed and struggled, so it wasn't successful. Since she runs away when seeing a leash/harness, she needs gradual training starting from getting comfortable wearing gear. * Motion Sickness: Rides in the car very well without any signs of motion sickness. * Nipping: Once, when we cornered her in the yard to pick her up and bring her inside, she gave a light nip and ran off. In an unfamiliar environment with strangers trying to catch her, she may show defensive nipping. Additionally, sometimes play-bites gently while playing with dog friends. * Barking: When meeting a stranger for the first time, she may bark briefly for a few minutes. However, stops quickly and starts snooping around out of curiosity. * Likes: Treats! Also absolutely loves playing with dog friends. * Dislikes: Physical touch makes her uncomfortable. Gets scared when people make big or sudden movements. * Personality: Is a lively girl who loves playing with other dogs, with a medium-to-high energy level. While she can seem calm, she gets super playfully excited when she sees things she loves! Adapts to dog friends very quickly, but takes a bit more time to warm up to humans. Needs a patient family who can wait for her to open her heart at her own pace.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️💟Available to fly to SEA💟The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate.Meet Hina💛🌟💙 Update Account: @_adogs_1. Medical History - Neuter Status: Completed (Spayed) - Microchip: Registered (Internal chip completed) - Other Notes: Heartworm retest scheduled (September 2026) Anaplasmosis retest negative 2. Rescue Story Hina first met ADOGS during a winterization volunteer trip at the shelter. At the time, she seemed highly uncomfortable wearing a specific dog coat and had severely licked her legs, creating raw wounds. Concerned that her self-harming behavior would worsen and cause severe infections, ADOGS stepped in urgently to rescue her. 3. Personality & Characteristics - Interaction with Humans: She loves people but is also deeply fearful of them. If you approach her while standing up, she will immediately run away. However, if you sit down and gently extend a hand from the side, she will willingly come over to sniff. While she is wary of strangers, she gladly accepts treats from them and allows gentle touches near her cheeks and neck. She used to wag her tail at familiar faces but dodge their hands, but she has improved significantly. She now accepts physical affection well and will even approach first if she sees you petting another dog! - Interaction with Dogs: She has great social skills! She gets along wonderfully with her shelter friends, enjoying playtime and playful antics. She especially loves hanging out and playing with her friend Hanna(#어독스한나)at the shelter. - Interaction with Cats: She has not encountered any cats yet. - Separation Anxiety: Since she is currently living in a group environment at the shelter, it is difficult to accurately assess. - Potty Training: Because she is staying in a shelter environment, her exact housebreaking habits are unknown. She may require training from scratch once she moves into a home. - Grooming & Hygiene: Due to her defensive nipping tendencies, formal grooming has not been attempted yet. She reacts defensively even when caretakers try to put an elizabethan collar (e-collar) on her, making hygiene routines difficult for now. - Leash Walking: Because she still retains a high level of wariness toward humans, she is not ready for outdoor walks yet. - Biting/Aggression: She will growl and nip defensively when she feels trapped or terrified, such as when someone attempts to put on an e-collar or corners her. She will also snap if a stranger tries to touch or pick her up abruptly without warning, so careful and gentle handling is required. - Barking: She tends to bark quite a bit at strangers. She also barks to ask for food or to demand to be let out of her kennel. She has shown no whining behavior. - Likes: She absolutely loves food and mealtime! - Dislikes: She is still very fearful of humans. She feels highly uncomfortable being cornered or touched suddenly. - Personality: Hina is a timid girl who used to be intensely wary of people, but she is now slowly opening up, approaching familiar faces first, and accepting their touch. She just needs a patient family who will quietly and calmly wait for her to open up her heart at her own pace.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Yulmoo🌟 💙 Adogs Update Account: @_adogs_ 1. Medical History - Neuter Status: Completed (Spayed) - Microchip: Registered (Internal chip completed) - Other Notes: Heartworm retest scheduled (August 2026) Anaplasmosis retest negative - Due to complications from a past heartworm infection, she has a chronic lung condition that requires ongoing medication and careful management. - A sudden spike in her heart rate can put a dangerous strain on her heart, so it is crucial to keep her environment calm and prevent her from getting overly excited. Since she gets short of breath easily during exercise, please avoid strenuous activities or walking her in hot weather. 2. Rescue Story Yulmoo first met ADOGS during a winterization volunteer trip at the Gimje Shelter. At the time, the freezing winter weather was setting in, and the already harsh shelter was struggling with outbreaks of infectious diseases. Knowing Yulmoo could not survive much longer in those conditions, ADOGS stepped in to rescue her. 3. Personality & Characteristics - Interaction with Humans: She is a bit fearful of strangers at first, but she switches into "people-loving mode" in no time, rolling over onto her back to show off her charms. Once she bonds with someone, she follows them around like a shadow for comfort and sweetly demands pets and affection. - Interaction with Dogs: During her time at the shelter, she coexisted well and peacefully with her friends. She is a bit shy when meeting new dogs for the first time. On walks, she occasionally growls while greeting other dogs, so she needs gentle, continued guidance and training in socialization. - Interaction with Cats: She has a strong instinct to chase cats when she spots them, so careful supervision is required. - Separation Anxiety: She has no separation anxiety! She sleeps and behaves wonderfully when left alone. She stays comfortably in her kennel and is a good little princess who sleeps soundly by herself in the living room at night. - Potty Training: In her current foster home, she is almost entirely outdoor-trained. She urinates quickly, but she takes about 15 minutes of exploring to find the perfect spot for bowel movements. - Grooming & Hygiene: Although she isn't a fan of baths, she stays patient and tolerates them well. When it comes to brushing and nail trimming, she gracefully accepts her fate with a slightly resigned but gentle attitude. - Leash Walking: She walks beautifully without pulling on the leash. She tends to walk a bit faster on bare sidewalks where there are no good spots to sniff. She is a brave girl who even enjoys walks on rainy days! However, because she struggles in hot weather, her walks should be kept short during summer. She also needs careful supervision as she tries to chase birds and cats. - Motion Sickness: She rides well in the car without any signs of motion sickness during short-distance trips. - Biting/Aggression: She is an absolute angel who has shown zero biting tendencies! - Barking: She may bark out of fear if a stranger makes sudden, large gestures while approaching her. She also whines to ask for attention if her foster parent returns home but doesn't greet her right away. - Likes: She loves human affection, treats, and nosework games! Since she doesn't show much interest in typical toys, her caretakers feed her daily meals through nosework toys to keep her mentally stimulated. - Dislikes: She gets startled if she is picked up or scooped into a hug too suddenly. - Special Talents: She is a master of tricks! She proudly knows "Sit," "Down," "Bang!" (play dead), "V" (resting her chin on a finger V), "Paw," "Nose," and "High-five." - Personality: Yulmoo is a calm, quiet girl full of affection. Her easygoing, laid-back nature is incredibly charming, making her the ultimate emotionally stable companion dog. She lights up and becomes beautifully vibrant whenever she is doing things she loves, like going on walks or playing nosework games!

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. 💙 Meet Serin 💙 Adogs Updates: @_adogs_ 1. Medical History * Spayed. * Microchipped, heartworm retest scheduled for December 2026, and anaplasma retest scheduled for August 2026. 2. Rescue Story * Serin spent her days at the Gimje Shelter. Adogs stepped in urgently to rescue her from the harsh shelter environment where she had been quietly enduring her loneliness, and to help her find a loving forever family. 3. Personality & Characteristics * With People: At first, can be a bit shy and timid around new people. However, once she warms up to you, she loves being petted and will actively seek out affection with sweet, playful behavior. Also shows her love by approaching you first with a wagging tail and giving you a warm welcome. * With Dogs: Gets along peacefully and indifferently with her friends at the center. Instead of actively playing with them, she prefers to rest on her own. Doesn't like being bothered by other dogs and may growl to set boundaries, but shows absolutely no aggression. * With Cats: Has not encountered any cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Doesn’t show signs of separation anxiety. Rests well alone and sleeps a lot. * Potty Training: Uses potty pads well indoors. * Grooming: Is good with brushing and nail trimming. Although she’s a bit scared of baths, she accepts it nicely. Is a bit scared of the blow dryer. * Walking: Has no prior experience with walks yet. * Car Sickness: Rides well in a car without any signs of motion sickness. * Biting: Early on, used to do "muzzle punching" (booping with her snout) when people did something she disliked, but no longer shows this behavior. * Barking: Whines in affection when her caretaker comes home after a long time, or when seeing her caretaker after sleeping for a while. * Likes: Loves treats! Absolutely loves being petted by familiar humans. * Dislikes: Is frightened by loud noises—such as yelling or scolding, squeaky toys, vacuum cleaners, hairdryers, or the sound of a chair scraping against the floor as you move closer. Also feels uncomfortable when other dog friends get too pushy or overly clingy. While she isn't the biggest fan of bath time, she tolerates it very calmly and patiently. * Personality: Absolutely adores people. If given enough time to adjust and get past the initial shyness, she turns into a total cuddle bug. Loves sleeping right next to their human and will act extra sweet and needy when her owner comes home. Overall, has a calm and quiet demeanor with a relatively low energy level, spending most of their alone time sleeping. That said, as she feels more comfortable and settled in, she will gradually show a more active and play-loving side!

Story
Shy little one! Meet Maria! Sweet Maria is looking for a special forever home and that just might be you! She’s an adorable 7-pound Chihuahua with a cheerful and upbeat personality. She’s sure to make you laugh and smile! While Maria is a sweetheart, it's important to note that she has a fear of being touched. Despite her gentle nature, Maria struggles with being handled and avoids physical contact. It's something that her foster family has been working on. That said, Maria has recently gone blind out of the blue, so that changes her world quite a bit. One interesting outcome is that she's a little less shy, but we will see how that play out. One of Maria's favorite pastimes is playing with other small dogs, exploring in the yard and sunbathing. When she's not busy playing, Maria chills and hangs out near her people. (She will need a home with a small-dog-proof fence). She would do well in a home with one or more friendly, playful small dogs and one that’s pretty low-key without a lot of people coming in and out. If you already have snuggly pets, Maria’s presence won’t change that. No fighting for your lap! Be a true hero and give this sweet, playful girl her forever home. If you're looking for a small companion with a big heart, consider welcoming Maria into your home! ADOPTION INFO Dog adoption fees include: - All Basic Dog Vaccinations - Rabies - Bordetella - Flea & Tick Treatment - Spay (Up to $400) - Neuter (Up to $300) - Microchip & Registration All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs and cats in our rescue. Story
Welcome Missy to CCPAL Rescue Foster program. Missy Gorda is a 2 -year- old Chug (Pug/Chihuahua). She weighs about 13 pounds and appears to be a good weight. She has the Pug body and is thick in the middle. She is very playful with toys. She is in a foster home with a large dog and Minnie and she does good with both. She isn’t a big shedder. She isn’t too vocal which is nice. She can use the doggy door and goes outside to do her business. She came from a hoarding situation and probably hasn’t been held much. She is a little nervous being held and has a bit of a stiff body. She loves her crate and will go to it when she is scared. The crate makes her feel safe. She is a wonderful little dog. She is really doing great in her foster home. We think the best home for Missy is a home with a partially or fully retired person or someone who has a quieter home. She would be great with someone that is more to themselves and doesn’t have a houseful of people everyday. She is a nice dog and when she is afraid she will retreat to her crate. She is getting lots of attention in her foster home and is doing great. She wouldn’t require a huge yard but a fenced one would be best for this girl. She can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. She is currently in Texas in foster care. She is getting her vaccinations and will be spayed soon. She can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is $400 and transport is $200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Story
elcome Draco to CCPAL foster program. Draco is a 3 year old 7 month old Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund). He weighs about 9 pounds. He is very social and loves cuddles. He loves the good Samaritan that found him on the streets in the Texas snow storm. Draco is great with other dogs and we think his best home would be with another playful dog or a person that is home and would love to play ball, walk and cuddle Draco. He doesn’t dig or tear up anything in the house and he does his business outside. He will use a potty pad if it is too long for him to hold. He is an opportunist when a gate or door is open and will take that opportunity. He will stay behind a baby gate if there is one and his foster is also going to introduce him to a crate. Right now he is allowed partial free roam while she is away at work. He is super social and loving so he would be fine around children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is neutered, microchipped and will have all vaccines topped up before he leaves the Rescue. He likes strangers but will bark if someone is at the door. He is lower on the shed scale but he does shed. His arms curl around your hands when you pick him up. He really likes being held. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 400 and transport is 200. Rhode Island and Massachusetts are not states we adopt to because of the regulations imposed by these states. Story
Welcome Flynn to CCPAL Rescue. Flynn is a 2.5 month old Chiweenie with a dash of miniature Pincher is our best guess. He looks mostly like a longer legged Dachshund mix. He has a really soft coat that is feels like a Dachshund. He weighs about 8 lbs. He should stay a small dog full grown. He is outgoing, trusting, affectionate and very sweet. He is good in a crate and really good with his sibling Chestnut. He likes to be held and is soft when you hold him. He would be best in a home that someone doesn’t work all day everyday. Puppies need socialization and time being with their human. He also will need to finish off his puppy training. He is getting his vaccinations and will be neutered soon and ready for his forever home. He was rescued from one of the local kill shelters in Texas. They were out of space and her time was up. CCPAL is giving him a second chance for a new forever home. He is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally in Texas or we can work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Story
✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Racoon! 💙 Name: Raccoon 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 5 years old (Born in June 2021) 💙 Weight: 3 kg / 6.61 lb 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1️⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped and heartworm negative. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Raccoon and his companion, Coke, were found abandoned inside a bag left directly in front of the Adogs storage facility. After managed contact with the previous owner's family, Adogs learned the heartbreaking news that their owner had passed away. Left completely with nowhere to go, Adogs immediately stepped in to rescue both Raccoon and Coke. 3️⃣ Basic Information * With People: Experiences initial shyness around strangers, but he warms up and builds a close bond relatively quickly. * With Dogs: Remains indifferent to other dogs, preferring not to engage in play. Is a quiet boy who genuinely enjoys his independent, solitary time. * With Cats: Shows no significant interest in cats. * Separation Anxiety: Currently unknown due to the communal center environment. Consistent transition training will be recommended once he enters a household. * Potty Training: Currently practices indoor elimination at our center. * Hygiene: Had been fully groomed and cared for prior to being abandoned. His current cooperativeness with grooming will continue to be observed and evaluated. * Walks: As a recent rescue who is still adjusting to life at our center, he has no outdoor walking experience yet. * Car Sickness: Travels well in vehicles without displaying any signs of motion sickness. * Has absolutely no history of biting or snapping. However, likely due to past trauma, he exhibits severe vocal sensitivity—screaming in fear—if someone attempts to touch his chest and belly or tries to pick him up. * May emit a watchful, defensive growl when a person approaches his space initially. * Thoroughly enjoys delicious treats and loves receiving gentle pets once he feels secure. * Feels highly uncomfortable and anxious about being held or picked up. * While he carries a bit of initial wariness, he is a deeply gentle, calm, and quiet soul who warms up beautifully over time. Raccoon will thrive best in a patient home that will gently embrace him with love, allowing him to heal at his own pace.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to SEA💟 💙 Name: Songcheon 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 1 year old (Born in July 2025) 💙 Weight: 4.5 kg / 9.92 lb 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1️⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Currently undergoing heartworm treatment. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Songcheon was found severely neglected inside a vinyl greenhouse in Songcheon-dong, Jeonju. Surviving in suffocating temperatures that reached up to 48°C (118°F), with only food waste and stagnant, mossy water to consume, Songcheon still mustered the strength to wag his tail happily when rescuers approached him. Adogs immediately rescued him so this lonely, resilient boy could finally receive the love and care he has always deserved. 3️⃣ Basic Information * With People: Has absolutely no shyness around strangers and genuinely adores humans! Even when meeting someone for the very first time, he will bounce up and down with pure joy to greet them. * With Dogs: Coexists peacefully and smoothly with his canine mates at our center, though he generally prefers playing independently. * With Cats: Has not met a cat yet. * Separation Anxiety: Currently unknown due to the communal environment at our center. Age-appropriate independence training will be recommended upon transitioning into a home. * Potty Training: Currently practices indoor elimination at our center. A change in environment will require a patient re-establishment of house-training. * Hygiene: While he generally handles professional grooming and clipping very well, he feels uncomfortable and sensitive when handlers touch his face. * Walks: Has no outdoor walking experience yet. * Car Sickness: Travels well in vehicles without displaying any signs of motion sickness. * If someone attempts to scoop him up or embrace him too abruptly, he may deliver a warning nose-punch (mouth-punch) as a boundary marker. However, once he establishes a solid bond and feels safe, any signs of defensive mouthiness completely disappear. * Is exceptionally quiet and has not displayed any barking or whining at our center. * Is highly motivated by delicious treats and absolutely loves playing with fetch balls. * Feels highly uncomfortable with having his face touched or being physically scooped up/embraced in a sudden, unpredictable manner. * Is an incredibly bouncy, joyful, and active young pup who loves humans and bursts with positive energy when playing with his favorite balls.
