She was waiting for someone to hold out a hand to her, but no one showed up to be her family. The weather was becoming colder and it was determined that it would be hard for Jerry to live at the shelter under poor conditions, so Adogs urgently rescued her. 3⃣ Basic Information ❗️As a puppy, she may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling and barking. ❗️It is difficult to predict her shedding and growth size because her parents are unknown. * With People: Even when she is with the caregiver, she gets scared of strangers, tucks her tail and freezes up. Once familiar, she shows her playful and adorable side. When with her foster parent, she sticks by their side, plays with her toys, naps, and even shows her belly. Is a bit wary of people standing and moving around; she usually keeps her distance and retreats to her kennel. * With Dogs: Got along well with other dogs at our center. Hasn’t met any dog friends since moving to her foster home. * With Cats: Hasn’t met them yet. * Separation Anxiety: Plays alone well without anxiety and sleeps alone well going into the room. Gets anxious and whines for her guardian when left alone with a stranger. * Potty Training: Has an accuracy rate of 99% pottying indoors on potty pads but she tries to move away before she's completely done pooping. * Hygiene: Gets a bath once a month. Was terrified but managed to stay brave through the nail trim. * Walks: Her vaccinations are not complete, so she hasn’t been on any walks. * Car Sickness: Didn’t show any signs of car sickness. * Doesn’t bite, but may nibble or nip since she’s still a teething puppy. Due to overcrowding, he couldn’t receive the care he needed at the shelter. Adogs rescued him, and he received orthopedic surgery and continuous treatment. 3⃣ Personality and Behavior • With People: Likes people and adjusts well! May be shy at first and after some time to sniff and explore, gets to be familiar to them. Once comfortable, he’ll wag his tail and approach for pets. • With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. She’s sure to make you laugh and smile! While Maria is a sweetheart, it's important to note that she has a fear of being touched. Despite her gentle nature, Maria struggles with being handled and avoids physical contact. It's something that her foster family has been working on. That said, Maria has recently gone blind out of the blue, so that changes her world quite a bit. One interesting outcome is that she's a little less shy, but we will see how that play out. One of Maria's favorite pastimes is playing with other small dogs, exploring in the yard and sunbathing. When she's not busy playing, Maria chills and hangs out near her people. Apollo is a sweet and playful boy! I rescued him as a 12 pound puppy in 2021 and have been blessed with him since. He's a velcro dog that wants to be as close to you as possible, and he's mastered his puppy dog eyes to guilt you into cuddles. Apollo's very social with other animals, having spent years with larger dogs and multiple cats. He's very affectionate with his fur siblings, always playing with and grooming them. Apollo loves people, too, though he takes a bit longer to warm up to men. He's shy at first, but he's never met someone that he didn't love after the first meeting or two. He's neutered and up to date on all of his vaccines. Apollo would do best with other fur siblings. He's not a pup that likes to be alone much. I'm rehoming Apollo due to unforeseen life circumstances that have made his care unsustainable for me. He is an angel of a boy, and I'm looking for someone to give him the love, care, and stability that I know he deserves.

Ruki already had a skin condition and wasn’t able to get proper treatment at the shelter, so Adogs rescued him before it became worse. 3.) Has overcome his fear of hands and he will he sniffs hands if they come near his nose. * With Dogs: Got along with no issues with other dogs when he lived at the Adogs Center. Hasn’t met new friends yet after moving to his foster home. * With Cats: Hasn’t met cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Stays alone well. * Potty Training: Was previously excellent with pottying indoors using potty pads, but after a visit to the vet, has started having accidents on cushions when scared, whining to have it cleaned up. Is being slowly retrained. * Grooming: Does well with baths. * Walks: Hasn’t had experience with walks yet. * Car Sickness: Has a little bit of car sickness so care is needed. * Biting: Is a kind dog that’s never bitten. * Barking: Whines if he’s forcibly held. If he has a potty accident, he whines as if asking to have it cleaned up. * Likes: Likes treats but the vet suggested to cut back on them, so he’s only being fed a few treats. * Dislikes: Is scared of loud noises and becomes afraid if you move your hands downwards suddenly. Whines and expresses discomfort if you try to hold him. May have potty accidents if you set him down on the floor in areas with many people or at the vet, but if you hold him with his bottom well supported, he feels safer. * Tricks: Has started crate training, but there hasn’t been much progress yet.
