Our Moose Man! This sweet and sensitive guy is in search of the perfect home where he can thrive. Moose is both house trained and crate trained, making him an excellent indoor companion. He craves human company and would flourish with an owner who is frequently present. A true hound, he adores walks, relishing every opportunity to sniff around. While he enjoys a good vocal session, he is well-behaved on leash. Affectionate and playful, Moose is quick to reciprocate love. He communicates his needs effectively and is a joy to be around. He has a knack for learning commands, already mastering sit, down, and shake. Treats and affection motivate him to continue learning, and he's currently progressing well with leash training. Moose is up-to-date on vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped, ready to find his forever home. Duke arrived at Helpless Hounds on 7-12-25. Before then, he had lived on the streets of Paul's Valley, OK for his whole life. He was 1st seen in the area about 7 years ago, and over the years several people kept him fed, and checked on him, but he had never had a home or even set foot inside a house before. Now, we are happy to report that Duke is a big-hearted dog with a love for walks and nap time! This handsome guy does well with most other dogs in the home, and he has allllll the love to give to his people!! Duke enjoys exploring on his daily walks and then crashing for a good snooze right after. He’s looking for a loving home where he can stay forever. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s equal parts silly and sweet, Duke is your guy! 🐶🖤

Meet Rosie, our 5-year-old black Beagle who is as sweet as they come. She is a gentle, loving girl who gets along with just about everyone; kids, other dogs, and even birds. Rosie is on the calm side, making her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a laid-back, loyal friend. We truly love her, but with how much we travel, its been hard to give her the time and attention she deserves.
