Meet sweet Stormy, a beautiful young brindle girl with a joyful spirit, lots of energy, and plenty of love to give!Stormy’s rescue story began during a torrential storm in Tennessee, when she was spotted running through the pouring rain, soaking wet and frightened. Thankfully, a kind person stopped to help and contacted rescue. It was soon discovered that Stormy also had a painful wound on her neck from an embedded collar. Those difficult days are behind her now, and Stormy is ready for the wonderful life she deserves.Stormy absolutely loves people and is always looking for affection and attention. She is a very active young girl, so children over 12 would be the best fit—not because she means any harm, but because her enthusiasm could easily send a smaller child tumbling!She is also great with other dogs and loves heading outside with her canine foster siblings to run, chase, and play. With her very high energy level, an active family that will give her plenty of exercise, playtime, and adventures would be ideal.Stormy walks on leash, but her adopter will want to keep a good hold if a bird or squirrel catches her eye—her instinct is definitely to give chase! She is a great traveler, happily hops in and out of the car, and loves watching the world go by through the windows.At home, Stormy is house trained and will let you know when she needs to go outside. She is also crate trained and goes into her crate without a problem, although long periods of crating aren't a good match for this energetic girl who wants to be out enjoying life.Stormy has already weathered the worst kind of storm.
