Story
Sweet 7 month old Cosmo is 45lbs of love, fun and companionship who is looking for his forever home and sure to make you laugh. He is a hound through and through, he can sniff and explore with the best of them! If you are in the market for a hiking buddy, this is your boy! Cosmo would love an active family who will take him exploring, and it would be a bonus for him if there was another family dog, Cosmo really loves having his foster brothers and sisters around! While he loves everyone he meets, his foster mom describes him as a "dog's dog", he is currently living with 5 dogs of all sizes and a cat. When he is not playing with his doggy buddies or on the trail of some great scent in the back yard, he is cuddled up with his people or in his favorite lounge chair with a bone. Cosmo does really like children but given his age and hound energy, we feel he is better suited to families with older children. Cosmo is crate and housetrained, neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vetting. If you would like to make Cosmo a member of your family, please email bigyellowgoose018@gmail.com

Story
Meet Rainy ☔ Rainy is a sweet, playful young pup who’s ready to brighten someone’s forecast! This adorable girl has a fun, active personality and loves spending her time playing, exploring, and soaking up attention from her people. She’s friendly, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is always happy when treats are involved. Rainy is new to the shelter, so we’re still getting to know all the wonderful things about her personality—but so far she’s been a fun-loving, affectionate girl who’s eager to connect with people and learn new things. She’s ready to dive into all the adventures that come with puppy life, including continued training, playtime, and plenty of positive reinforcement. Rainy is hoping her cloudy start is about to clear up with a loving home of her own. If you’re looking for a sweet companion who will bring sunshine, smiles, and a little playful “rain” of puppy kisses into your life, Rainy can’t wait to meet you. 🌧️💛

Story
Hound lovers, meet Emma — a beautiful Treeing Walker Coonhound with soulful eyes, a gentle heart, and a second chance at the life she has always deserved.Emma was found wandering the countryside in Tennessee in August 2025, heartbreakingly thin and suffering from heartworms. It’s believed she had been used for breeding and then discarded when she was no longer “needed.” Despite everything she had endured, this sweet girl’s spirit was never broken. With dedicated care, proper nutrition, and lots of love, Emma has blossomed. She has gained healthy weight, completed her heartworm treatment, and is now heartworm negative and thriving. When first rescued, Emma was shy and understandably skittish. Today, she is a different dog — confident, affectionate, and eager to be part of a family. Everyone who meets her falls in love with her.Emma plays beautifully with her canine foster siblings and is completely non-reactive. She would truly enjoy having another dog in the home as a playmate and companion. She also lives peacefully with cats and simply ignores them. Her nature makes her a wonderful fit for a variety of households, including those with dog savvy children. She longs to have someone bring her for walks, or just run in the yard and play fetch with her. Any attention is good attention! She is currently working on her leash skills and improving every day. She rides nicely in the car and is always happy to tag along for an adventure. Emma is fully housetrained and has free roam of the house when her foster is away — she does beautifully without a crate, likely a kindness she appreciates after her past life.True to her hound heritage, Emma has the most special and adorable howl. It’s endearing, expressive, and part of the charm that makes hound lovers smile. She is active and absolutely LOVES to play, but at the end of the day, her favorite place is curled up in bed with her foster family and furry friends, soaking in the comfort and security she waited so long to have.Emma has survived hardship, raised countless litters, and asked for nothing in return. Now it’s her turn — her turn to be cherished, protected, and loved simply for who she is.If you’ve been waiting for a loyal, gentle, playful hound with a heart of gold, Emma is ready to come home.Name: Emma HoundBreed: Treeing Walker Coonhound (Confirmed by DNA test)Sex: FemaleAge: 3 years  (estimated)Weight: 60.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 7Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: YesAdoption Fee: $550.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)                       $100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee for Massachusetts residents.Location of dog currently:    Tennessee IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption veterinary costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age-appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England, if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse, whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher. Story
Cami is a four months old with lots of love. She is very playful, friendly and cuddly. She loves her squeeky toys and her frozen carrot sticks. She is partially house trained - she is good with her crate, sleeps overnight, and is able to be by herself for a couple hours. She is still working on potty training, but is very good on a schedule. Cami has her basic commands down and is quick to catch on new trainings. She loves meeting people and dogs and then napping right next to her person (she will scooch closer to you if you pull away!)Willing to transport her to location.
