Onyx is a 1.5-year-old mixed breed beauty with a sleek black coat, striking white markings, and an expressive face that’s hard to forget. We believe she may have some Walker Hound in her, and her elegant features certainly fit the bill. At just 32 lbs, she’s a great medium size — easy to handle, easy to love. Sweet and affectionate, Onyx gives the impression that she once knew the finer things in life and would very much like to return to them. She’s both crate trained and house trained, making her an easy addition to a home. Her play style is bouncy and fun, but when the excitement winds down, she’s more than happy to settle in for attention and cuddles. Onyx does have one very firm opinion: wet paws are a no. Rainy days and puddles are absolutely not her vibe, and she makes that known in the most endearing way. She’s looking for a family who will appreciate her gentle nature, charming personality, and funny little quirks — and who’s ready to give her the comfort and love she deserves. Around 60 pounds of love and sweetness, Kahlua lives for sunshine, breezes, rustling leaves, and long, thoughtful walks. He’s the kind of dog who doesn’t rush through life—he notices everything, appreciates the little things, and reminds you to slow down and enjoy the moment. Kahlua has impeccable manners. Need to tie your shoe? He’ll stop and wait. Collar slips off? He’ll walk right over so you can fix it. He listens beautifully and truly wants to please his person. He also has a fun side—he loves squeaky toys, playing fetch (sharing the ball is a work in progress!), giving kisses, and being tucked in under cozy blankets like the pampered hound he is. This boy is also a lake and boat enthusiast—a true water bug who will happily join you for every lakeside adventure. He grew up with other dogs and prefers being the “big guy,” doing well with respectful smaller dogs or calmer companions. Solo walks? He’s relaxed and steady. With bigger, energetic dogs?
