Once approved, the foster parent will reach out to arrange a visit. Today we have Ollie, a young strapping man who LOVES kids and other dogs of all sizes.  One of those guys who doesn't know exactly how big he is but makes up for his clumsiness in cuddles.  Great a helping clean the kitchen counters and floor (food driven) or training others to keep them clean, enjoys laundry day (warm towels and sheets are the best), is even a great singer!  Ollie will greet you slippers in mouth when you get home, maybe a blanket some days.  Don't let this sweetie pie get away! Meet Tank 💛 This sweet, loving boy is a 2-year-old, 50 lb hound who is about as easygoing and affectionate as they come. Tank loves his people — he’s cuddly, gentle, and happiest when he’s close to his family. While Tank is generally an easy dog, he is very much a hound at heart. He follows his nose wherever it leads and is always on the lookout for his next snack. Tank loves other dogs and enjoys wrestling and romping with his canine friends. He has lived successfully with a confident cat and small children. He also enjoys his toys — especially a good rope toy, which he’ll happily toss around all by himself. He really enjoys the outdoors, whether he’s sunbathing or sniffing around the yard. But despite his love for being outside, Tank is absolutely a house dog at heart. At the end of the day, nothing makes him happier than curling up on the couch and snoozing with his people. Tank has also shown to be fully house trained and trustworthy when left home alone. Tank is also quite the character. He does occasionally bay, but more often he communicates through a series of grunts, sighs, and some truly hilarious facial expressions — think side-eyes, eye rolls, and full-on pouting. If you’re looking for a dog with personality, affection, and just the right amount of hound charm, Tank is your guy. 💛🐾

He's still learning the ropes and has never lived in a house, but he's got a big personality and loves being adored. He is only around a year old and loves playing with other dogs and is learning that life is great! Augusta Dog Adoptions is a 501c3, foster-based rescue. Our BEST boy is waiting to meet you! Hound lovers, Meet Clyde. Clyde found himself in a very rural shelter with more dogs than adopters. Because the competition was younger and smaller, he didn't stand much chance of being chosen. Lucky for him, we are suckers for senior coonies and happily welcomed him into our adoption program. Clyde is the most kind an gentle soul. He enjoys gazing into your eyes and leaning on you show is love. He is a dream on-leash and quietly sits in his crate at adoption events just waiting for someone to adore him. It's unlikely that Clyde has lived in a home and may need some extra support with house training and basic manners. Given his easy going personality, we bet he will adjust rather easily. Clyde is a treeing walker coonhound who is guessed to be about 7-9 years old and weighs about 65 pounds. He recently had a dental so he'll be ready to smile at his new family for years to come!
