Story
Lux is one of the sweetest kittens ever! She is bonded with her sister Tux, and the two look and act like identical twins! You might be thinking, “I only want to adopt ONE kitten.” But if you’ve never seen a bonded pair of cats, it’s truly an amazing thing! To watch the love they have for each other is so beautiful, PLUS they won’t be lonely while you’re at work, and will always have someone to play with! They both love to sit and snuggle with their “people,” especially at at night in bed. But if you have things to do, that’s ok because they always have each other! In that way, they’re the perfect balance between being affectionate, but also independent. Both kittens enjoy all toys, especially the interactive type, the kinds they can carry in their mouths, and of course, cat tunnels. Tux & Lux are great around kids, too! They love to play “Kitten Football,” where a child (or adult) throws a cat toy and they race to catch and retrieve it! Tux even won this year’s MVP! (“Most Valuable Paw”)! They love other cats too, and think grooming & napping are group activities. But their favorite thing to do is climb! And although they’re still working on not jumping on the counters and tables, a nice high cat tree and window hammock will really help them master their cat manners. There is one big problem, however— they’re absolutely irresistible!! You won’t be able to say no to them when they look at you with their little “puppy dog” eyes. But if you’re ok with falling head over heels in love and turning into one of those crazy cat people, then these are the cats for you! Be prepared to have 3,000 cat pictures on your phone and for your friends and relatives to think you’ve lost your mind. The thing is, YOU WON’T REGRET IT!!
We'll also keep you updated on Tux's adoption status with email updates.

Story
Meet Ready, a soft-souled, shy sweetheart with some quirky charm to make you smile. After losing her loving owner, she’s hoping for a calm, patient home where she can feel safe again. Ready may start skittish, but once she trusts you, she warms up and becomes chatty, leaning into soft pets, and melting for head scratches (especially after coming inside). She’s not a fan of being picked up, but she’ll curl up at the corner of your bed or couch when she’s feeling social. She also has hilarious quirks like thinks every Q-tip belongs to her, so keep those lids closed! And though she tries to follow her “big brother” hunters outside, her proud deliveries have been entirely of leaves. Her brain cells may be limited, but her sweetness is endless. Ready has lived as an indoor/outdoor cat and prefers a quiet, peaceful, dog-free home with space of her own. She gets along with other cats but likes to eat in peace. Reach out if you want a gentle, loyal companion with a sprinkle of silly charm.

Main Coon MixIf you're interested in adopting, contact Suzi (925) 708-6967 or suziharris67@yahoo.com Meet Handsome Toothless! This 9-year-old sweetheart has so much love to share. Toothless is all about those head butts and adores head scratches, pets, and any attention that is given to him. He’s rocking a little lion haircut because his fur was a bit matted when he was rescued, but it just adds to his charm. After a tough time on the streets, this lovable boy is ready to find his forever home.  Toothless is FIV positive. FIV is passed from cat to cat through deep bite wounds, the kind that usually occurs outdoors during aggressive fights. FIV can not be transferred through saliva or by sharing the same water bowls or food bowls, or by licking each other. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 31, 2025, 12:50 am

Story
Want to meet? [Fill out the Application], then email it to the contact in this bio. Cocoa's litter Cocoa's litter is available for adoption! Born April 2-3 overnight, Mori, Miso, Oreo, Tomo, and Twilight should be adopted in pairs or to a home with a friendly resident cat or kitten (or with their mama Cocoa!). Oreo (male tuxedo with black patch on nose): Very good eater, playful, curious, athletic, similar to Miso – loves to climb and play. Easy kitty.   Mori (male tabby with white face): Very sweet, loves to have belly and chin scratches, will fall asleep in your arms, very playful, good climber. We think of him as the “intellectual” of the litter; he likes to gaze into your eyes and it looks like he’s thinking deep thoughts. Miso (male tabby with white front): Loves to climb, give him a perch up high or let him sit on your shoulder. Very athletic and bold, very curious, brave… but also quick to calm down, especially if you tuck him into your sweatshirt! He’s been the last to stop nursing and is a reluctant eater of cat food. He tends to prefer beef flavored Friskies, or Sheba, over the Royal Canin mother/babycat mousse. Tomo (male tuxedo): The biggest of the litter. A gentle giant. Sweet, likes to gaze into your eyes like his brother Mori. Likes to eat! The first one to purr. Likes to be cradled in laps, have belly and chin scratches. Twilight (female, black): The only sister of her 4 brothers. She is a rough and tumble sweetie with super soft fur. She is a great hunter and loves the dangling mouse toy. Very good eater, even though she is the smallest of the litter. Likes to hide with a mousey toy in dark safe spots. If you are interested in providing these precious kittens with a loving forever home, contact Juliet at julietinac@hotmail.com. They are located in Contra Costa County, CA. Story
Want to meet? [Fill out the Application], then email it to the contact in this bio. Tia, born in 2021 (estimated), is a sweet, beautiful community cat-turned-foster cat. Tia was taken in when her rescuer noticed that her left eye appeared cloudy. The vet suspects this is due to an old injury, which has affected her left eye’s vision but does not seem to cause pain. Tia's ear was tipped, so she had previously been TNR-ed (Trap, Neuter, Return). Tia turned out to be super sweet, so her rescuer is now fostering her. Under her foster's care, Tia had blood work and a dental treatment with one tooth extracted. Tia is cuddly, gentle, affectionate, and gets along with cats. She needs time to warm up to new people, so she needs a patient adopter. She would be fine as a solo cat or in a home with a friendly resident cat.  If you are interested in providing Tia with a loving forever home, contact Nisha at nkchauhan@gmail.com. Tia is located in Contra Costa County, CA. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.October 31, 2025, 12:50 am
