Philly Jenkins Rescue is a 501(c)(3) San Francisco-based Cat Rescue founded in 2024. It is dedicated to rescuing cats needing high-risk medical aid and helping cats facing euthanasia find loving homes. Philly Jenkins Rescue will provide a medical history; each adoption will include microchipping. All cats will undergo spaying or neutering before being placed in their new home. Cats that have not been spayed are available for pre-adoption. Email: PhillyJenkinsRescue@PhillyJenkinsRescue.Org Please include the Cat’s name in the subject line and your phone number.  Adoption Status: Available for Adoption Estimated Birthdate: 2022 In early 2023, a resident in Central Valley, California, observed a feral cat known as Mom Cat with a litter of kittens; however, the kittens disappeared. Several months later, Mom Cat gave birth to another litter in the resident’s backyard, prompting contact with our Founder prior to the establishment of Philly Jenkins Rescue. When the kittens reached an appropriate age, our Founder traveled to Central Valley to rescue. Four kittens were successfully rescued and have since been placed in forever homes. In January 2024, Mom Cat was rescued along with two of her kittens from her third litter as well as her mate, Mr. Jenkins, who our founder a rescued and adopted in January 2024. Learn more about the Jenkins Family in our other posts. About Mom Cat Mom Cat was extremely feral cat when rescued. Mom Cat does well with small breed dogs ( not yet introduced to large breeds). Mom Cat has experience with teens 14 and over. Prefers not to be picked up and inciates pets at her leisure. She enjoys quiet environments and would make a single house companion. Dislikes: No Environments with elevated noise levels or significant foot traffic. Story
Hi! My name is Hermes, (pronounced air-mEEs) after the Greek God, of course! I was rescued in Stockton, CA.   I looooove to play. I never turn down an opportunity to play, play, play. It only took me a few hours in my foster home to decompress and then I was ready to get out and play.   I pretend I don’t like it at first, but I LOVE head/neck scritches and will lean into a good scratch, or a good back rub/tail scratch. But of course, I sometimes have to act like I don’t like it because after all, I am a cat.   My foster mom says this is the cutest thing I do once I’ve settled in and feel comfortable — I will sprawl out on the floor, toe floofs and all, and lie on my side. I purrsonally think it’s pretty darn cute too.   I also trust and become friends quickly. Me and the resident kitty love chasing each other around, and I sure would love to have a fun cat furiend in my forever home. I follow my foster mom around the house too, to keep an eye on what she’s doing... it’s just another one of the many things I do that she thinks is so cute.   Are you up for the job to serve me? Apply for me today!    Follow me in my foster home @blocky_buds. Please note: Indoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1745341352&src=aap]

These are the sweetest brother & sister kitties! They are 7 years old and have been very well loved their entire lives. I have been fostering them for the last 6 months for my son who moved out of the country. They are shy but very loving. They let my grandkids pet them but they get a bit nervous around energetic small humans. They would do best in a quiet household. They have lived inside and don’t know the outdoors, although cautiously step out onto a protected porch to sun. They are really smart and curious. They love each other very much and being adopted together would help them transition and live their happiest lives. Thank you so much for considering bringing them into your home! Accessories: Two covered litter boxes with mats & liners, a disposal container with bag and scoop Automated dry food dispenser Elevated cat food dishes Water bowl

Story
Liza is a 10 year old black cat, who was a rescue. I got her when she was about 6 months old. She was rescued by an organization on the South side of Chicago. She is a pretty calm cat, but is also jumpy. I think she would do well in a quiet home. A lot of noise and activity tends to stress her out. I would describe her as lovable but also independent.

Story
Meet Mooshu, the ultimate lap cat! She’s a sweet, low-maintenance kitty who’s a little shy and needs a patient human. Mooshu loves being with her favorite person—she’ll jump on your lap, enjoy brushing and pets, and even make biscuits on you. During the day, if you work from home, her favorite thing is to sit next to you and stare at you while you get your work done. She loves to also take a nap by you. If you call her, she’ll look at you; if you invite her to the couch, she might join (when she’s in the mood—she’s a cat!). She’s very clean, doesn’t scratch furniture, jump on counters, or chew things. Though full of charm, she’s still learning to trust humans and gets anxious with sudden movements. She often hides when nervous and prefers female humans over male—why, we’re not sure. Mooshu would be the perfect companion for someone with a calm, quiet lifestyle. All of our cats and kittens are spayed/neutered, FeLV/FIV tested, FVRCP vaccinated, treated for fleas, dewormed and microchipped. If interested, please submit an application through our website. https://www.andreasdreamrescue.org/adoptionapplication Send us a message through our contact page with which cat you are interested in and we will be happy to set up a meet & greet! https://www.andreasdreamrescue.org/contact
