Story
Meet Lovely Lola Lovely Lola is a beautiful, dainty young girl, only about 10–12 months old, with the sweetest, most gentle personality. She has the most interesting markings…looks like 2 equal size triangles down her sides. Lola’s story began on a rainy October night in Long Beach, where we found her living underneath a car. She was dirty, hungry and trying to survive on the streets. The moment we opened a can of food, she came running. She ate hungrily, then began rubbing against us as if she knew she had finally found someone who would help her. Of course, there was no way we could leave her there. We brought Lola home, gave her a nice warm bath and started giving her the full works — ear cleaning, nail trim, deworming, flea treatment, vaccines and microchipping — getting this little girl healthy, clean and ready for her spay. And that’s when we discovered just how lovely Lola really is. â¤ï¸ As soon as we brought her home from the vet, Lola began purring and rubbing against us. It almost seemed as though she was thanking us for helping her. After surviving outside in an area where life can be very hard for stray cats, she somehow remained incredibly trusting, affectionate and sweet. Lola is an absolute love. Just watch her video and you’ll immediately see what we’re talking about. She is a precious, dainty, quiet little girl who will make some very lucky person or family a wonderful companion. She loves affection and will happily shower her person with purrs, rubs and love. Lola seems comfortable around other cats and dogs. Because she has such a gentle, quieter personality, we think she would be happiest in a relatively calm home without young children, where she can relax, feel safe and blossom. Interested in adopting Lovely Lola? Fill out an application by visiting LBSN.org, email adoptions@lbsn.org to request an adoption application Once we receive your completed application, our adoption team will review it. If we think you and Lola could be a good fit, we’ll contact you to arrange a time for you to meet this lovely little girl. Now all she needs is the part of her story that matters most — a loving home of her very own. â¤ï¸ Why Adopt from LBSN? At LBSN, we pride ourselves on the quality, care and dedication we give to every cat we rescue. Our cats are never kept in cages or adoption centers — they live in our foster homes as part of the family until they are healthy, happy and truly ready for adoption. Because we live with them, we get to know their personalities extremely well, which allows us to focus on making the right match, not simply making an adoption. With nearly 30 years of rescue experience, we’re also here after adoption to offer guidance and support whenever you need it. For us, success is knowing we’ve done right by each cat and found them a loving home for life. â¤ï¸ October 24, 2026, 9:16 pm
