Juniper is a beautiful young mama cat who has completed one of the most important jobs there is - raising her babies. She did an amazing job caring for her kittens, and they have all gone on to their happily-ever-after homes. Now it’s Juniper’s turn to find a forever home of her own. Juniper can be shy when meeting new people but once she feels safe, her true personality shines through. She is incredibly sweet, loving, and affectionate, and she genuinely enjoys being petted. When you stop, she’ll softly meow and ask for more - and sometimes she’ll reach out to gently grab your hand when you try to pull it away from petting her because she is not ready for it to end. Juniper would do best in a calm, adult-only home without young children. In the right environment, she blossoms into an affectionate, devoted companion. Aquario is a delightful 13 year old White/Black Tabby Turkish Van mix, with a tabby harlequin on top of his white face, a mostly white body with a few black tabby patches, and a raccoon tail. He has beautiful hazel eyes and a pink nose. Aquario is a very calm, ‘Zen' Cat who loves to watch whatever is going on outside through the windows, and lounge in the sunny spots on the floors in the house. A great ‘biscuit maker,’ he also loves to curl up in soft bedding, especially with his humans. Aquario loves running water and drinking from the pet fountain. He’s a food motivated boy and will come running when he hears a can open! Aquario will put his paws on your knees and jump into your lap to snuggle for as long as you will let him. He also has a great time with catnip toys and will curl his paw around them and toss them into the air. Aquario loves people, but will be fine as the only Cat in the home. He will co-exist with other Cats as long as they don't bother him. He will be great company for a family or single person who is looking for a sweet, docile, quiet Cat. His current human cannot keep him due to severe allergies (he has tried everything.) Ozzy is a very shy and timid cat. Around new people he prefers to hide, but once he feels safe, he enjoys being petted, typically on a bed in a quiet, enclosed space. He really enjoys playing with hairbands, sometimes he will even play catch with me! It just might take a bit to build up trust with him. He's very friendly otherwise and never aggressive, just runs away if he does not like something! And he runs from room to room often, not liking to be out in open places for long. We are looking for a new home because Ozzy does not do well living with other male cats. Although he doesn’t fight much, the stress has led to marking behavior despite many attempts to resolve it. He would thrive in a calm, patient home, ideally as the only cat, where he can feel secure and comfortable.
