This is Leonard. He is a super sweet boy, just takes a little time to get to know you. He is currently in my studio, hiding behind the futon. He loves to have chin scratches and pets and enjoys being brushed. He has recently started coming out from behind the futon for his pats, but if I move, he goes back behind the futon…baby steps, we are getting there. I do know that he is out during the day, because he destroys the cardboard scrathing pads I have out for him, and the toys are moved aorund. He was my neighbors cat (he passed away) and was kept loose in his garage. It took me months to earn his trust so I could pick him up and put him in the carrier to bring him to my house...so we are just rebuilding that trust. He loves the attention he gets, so that is huge. Hello, my name is Lawrence, and I am a wonderful kitty who is looking for my forever home. I am a friendly, playful, loving boy, and my foster mom thinks I’m about 8 years old. I get along well with other cats, and in my brief interactions with the dogs here, I have done fine…but they have been brief, and the dogs are small. I like to play with wand toys, and enjoy getting pats and scratches. I used to have a home, but my Dad passed away. He had found me as a stray, and, although he gave me a home, he kept me in a cage in the garage, so that wasn’t the best situation. I was in that cage for many years, with no comfy bed, just a piece of carpet, which is very sad. I am happy to be out of my cage, enjoying my new, cozy, bedding, and can’t wait to find my forever home. Hey! Are you looking at me? If not, you should be, because I am a handsome, wonderful, boy! My name is Jones, but my friends call me Jonsie. My foster mom thinks I am about 5 years old, I LOVE other cats, and am a sweet, playful, kitty. If you are looking for a affectionate kitty, here I am! I love to cuddle and snuggle with you, I even like to groom you…who doesn’t want a sandpaper cat tongue licking their neck, am I right? However, I do take a little bit to warm up to new friends, although I am getting much better! As for toys, mice, balls, wand toys, I’m not pciky, I love them all! Hello, Buddy here! I’m a sweet, quiet, male, kitty looking for my forever home. My foster mom thinks I’m part siamese and about 10 years old. I’m a chunky guy, but that’s just more to love. I adore being brushed and fed Churo treats…they don’t have to be at the same time, but hey, if you can multi-task, I’m not one to complain! I have lived my entire life in a cage, until just recently. My Dad passed away, and a neighbor stepped in to look after his cats, and here we are. Sadly, my Dad thought it was good to keep us in cages, and double sadly for me, he didn’t give me a litter box, I just used old newspapers. When the neighbor found me, I was sitting ontop of inches of soiled newspaper, and was terrified. So, she named my ‘Buddy’, because that’s what we were going to be. She got the cage cleaned up, slowly worked on earning my trust, and eventually was able to move me into a bathroom at her place. I am doing well using the litterbox, which is great. I enjoy playing with toys, and like wand toys the best. I am fine with being held, but prefer to snuglle beside you and let you pet and brush me while I purr away…it will be very calming for you!
