** COURTESY POST FOR INDEPENDENT VOLUNTEER TRAPPER/FOSTER: This is Mishka. Her name means "cute" in Russian, and she sure is! She's also a very sweet well mannered girl who loves to play. Mishka is mostly White with some Tabby patches here and there, including the cutest Cindy Crawford mark above her lip. Mishka was rescued from a backyard when she was only about 6 weeks old. Her and her mama were homeless and brought in to safety. As a kitten she quickly made friends with others. She still has that kitten energy as her favorite thing to do is get the Zoomies and run up her cat tree! It is so funny to watch her parkour skills! She also enjoys fitting herself into boxes and small spaces. She can be a little shy at first but when she's ready to relax after all that hard play, she loves the company of her people and to sit next to them while they are chilling on the couch. Mishka's favorite thing above all is her sister Tunia. They are so very bonded, sleep together, play and groom each other. Aquario is a delightful 13 year old White/Black Tabby Turkish Van mix, with a tabby harlequin on top of his white face, a mostly white body with a few black tabby patches, and a raccoon tail. He has beautiful hazel eyes and a pink nose. Aquario is a very calm, ‘Zen' Cat who loves to watch whatever is going on outside through the windows, and lounge in the sunny spots on the floors in the house. A great ‘biscuit maker,’ he also loves to curl up in soft bedding, especially with his humans. Aquario loves running water and drinking from the pet fountain. He’s a food motivated boy and will come running when he hears a can open! Aquario will put his paws on your knees and jump into your lap to snuggle for as long as you will let him. He also has a great time with catnip toys and will curl his paw around them and toss them into the air. Aquario loves people, but will be fine as the only Cat in the home. He will co-exist with other Cats as long as they don't bother him. He will be great company for a family or single person who is looking for a sweet, docile, quiet Cat. Meet Gary Berry! He is one of the sweetest boys I have ever met! I found Gary injured last summer. I had to slowly win his trust because he was very skittish but slowly but surely, he came to trust me. I was finally able to take him into the vet and get him checked out. We did X-rays, full blood panel, and got him fixed and vaccinated. It took him about to 2 months to get better and in the meantime he has adjusted to the indoor life. Unfortunately, my cats are not doing so well with him being present and it’s been well over 5 months. I definitely do not want to put him back out in the streets and he is such a sweet loving boy they he deserves a loving home. He will do well in a single cat household. He is so friendly and so kind. Always looking for love. I want to make sure he gets a really good home.

This sweet girl was in a bad situation, her owners said that she was too hyper for them and they kicked her out of the house. A very kind lady took her in and then got her to us. She is not hyper, she is a super sweet, energetic fun kitten. She loves to play with the other cats. She does like to be pet and enjoys being around us. Understandably she can be shy and isn’t comfortable yet with being picked up. We adore her and are looking for her forever home

* COURTESY POST FOR INDEPENDENT TRAPPER/FOSTER/ADOPTER ** Sweet little Salt is one of our ultimate favorite girls! She was living at a Target on a parking lot with her mom, Target. A feeder had taken care of them for years, gotten them both fixed, found homes for their kittens and then never tried to find these girls their own homes off the streets. We met her through several calls for help from the concerned community. They were living under dumpsters and Target (the store) had threatened to remove them. We went and trapped in the rain to get these girls to safety. Target was several years older and we had to euthanize her due to a failing liver. Salt, however, is healthy and thriving. She needs a dental and a few teeth removed, but who wouldn't at her age? We will take care of this and have an appointment, but we really want her in a home asap and while we wait for her appointment. Salt is a wonderfully kind, gentle soul who loves belly rubs, lots of pets and a hammock. She loves buckets or boxes with fluffy blankets and you'll find her napping in the sunshine soaking up the rays. She does enjoy a good scratch on a tall, sisal post...but most of all, she really enjoys curling up next to you with an arm around her. We would love to find Salt a permanent home and/or a temporary foster so she can enjoy her senior years. She does not like dogs and is good with other cats as long as they're not dominant or alpha personalities. Cinnabon is a beautiful dilute Calico and a petite girl. Cinnabon was homeless and living in someone's backyard for years. It seemed someone had left her behind or abandoned her there. A kind neighbor was feeding her but nobody would bring her into their home. When the nice lady passed away, we knew Cinnabon would no longer have food security or safety. We moved quickly to bring her in and realized what a special girl she is! Cinnabon is so cute when she gets into a loaf and she loves for you to stroke her velvety soft fur and scratch her little ears and neck. She is vocal and comes to you when you call, especially for breakfast time! One of her favorite things is to play with the mouse teaser. She gets so excited to play chase! Cinnabon loves people and would love to be the only cat at the center of your attention. She is so ready to be in a warm home and part of a loving family. Born 2021.
