Story
** COURTESY POST FOR INDEPENDENT VOLUNTEER TRAPPER/FOSTER: This is Mishka. Her name means "cute" in Russian, and she sure is! She's also a very sweet well mannered girl who loves to play. Mishka is mostly White with some Tabby patches here and there, including the cutest Cindy Crawford mark above her lip. Mishka was rescued from a backyard when she was only about 6 weeks old. Her and her mama were homeless and brought in to safety. As a kitten she quickly made friends with others. She still has that kitten energy as her favorite thing to do is get the Zoomies and run up her cat tree! It is so funny to watch her parkour skills! She also enjoys fitting herself into boxes and small spaces. She can be a little shy at first but when she's ready to relax after all that hard play, she loves the company of her people and to sit next to them while they are chilling on the couch. Mishka's favorite thing above all is her sister Tunia. They are so very bonded, sleep together, play and groom each other. Mishka and sister must be adopted as a pair as they would be heartbroken to be separated. * Date of Birth: August 2020 (approx) * Color/Breed: Turkish Van - White with Gray & Black Points & Patches * Eye Color: Green * Spayed * Vaccinated * SNAP Tested FELV/FIV Results: Negative/Negative * Microchipped * Flea Treated * Dewormed * Litterbox Trained * Litter Preference: All Natural, Unscented * Scratch Post Preference: Rope Sisal & Cardboard * Littermates/Best Friends: Petunia ADOPT-A-PET FORMS EXPLANATION: * Adoption Application: If you are ready to adopt, filling out an adoption application gets the adoption process moving forward for approval & home delivery. Story
DOB: 1/5/22 Paloma is a petite girl that has lots of personality and is pretty easy on the eyes, too . She can be sassy and funny and is an expert with training humans on how she wants to be treated, petted and played with. She likes to take long naps in soft places and especially likes to cuddle up beside her foster mom all night long, while she sleeps. Paloma is mostly pretty chill but she has a playful side too. She is not a high maintenance cat and is happy to entertain herself with cat toys or take long naps curled up on the bedspread or in a soft cat bed. Paloma prefers to be adopted into a single-pet household without young children. You are invited to schedule a meet and greet with the lovely Miss Paloma and see if she is the right fur baby for you.  If you are interested in learning more about this kitty or in adopting her, please click here to email her foster parent. If you are unable to send an email to the foster parent through the link included above, please contact us and let us know what kitty you're interested in.  You may also fill out our adoption questionnaire to speed up the screening process.  Be sure to name the cat in the CAT PREFERENCE field at the beginning of the questionnaire. Story
DOB:2/1/2020Miss Yvonne is a lovely large lady with big personality and even bigger hair. Often called the 'The Most Beautiful Woman in Puppetland”, she is sweet, affectionate, and extremely friendly! She will happily greet you at the door and follow you to wherever the activity is. She is mellow and calm, not easily flustered or frightened by activity. A lover of beauty and fashion, she loves having her fur brushed and hair styled in the the most attractive new hairdos. She has recently lost some excess weight and not only rediscovered her fabulous hourglass figure, but her young energy! She will play, pounce, and chase toys like a miniature pony prancing through a field. Miss Yvonne would love a home that can keep her exercised, trim and looking fresh! She is good with other kitties of all ages who aren’t bossy, ok with most kids 7+, and would prefer a home with no dogs. Miss Yvonne is simply the kindest kitty out there and can’t wait to welcome you to our partner Tail Town Adoption Lounge (http://TailTownCats.com) in Pasadena. Story
DOB:3/13/22 Violet was unfortunately abandoned in a carrier outside our facility, but lucky for her, Kitten Rescue took her in. We can’t resist a pretty face. Violet is a somewhat temperamental gal.  The multi-cat environment of our Sanctuary is not the ideal situation for her as she tends to get over-stimulated by all the cats running around.  She would definitely prefer to be the only cat in the household where she can be in charge of her own kingdom.  Violet will need a very special home with experienced cat people who will understand her needs, overlook her “cattitude” and admire her beauty from afar.  She is a sassy gal with unpredictable behavior, but we think she will thrive in the right home -- a peaceful palace for a beautiful queen with servants to wait on her hand and paw.
