Story
Tanner and Wilson are a pair of seven month old pups. Tanner is a Cocker Spaniel mix and Wilson is a Vizsla mix. Both dogs are good boys who love spending time with each other, as well as with their people. Both Tanner and Wilson found themselves in a high kill shelter where they were surrendered by their previous owner. They were extremely bonded and ran the risk of being separated, so the shelter staff requested us to rescue them so that they could stay together. Wilson and Tanner are well-behaved and quiet pups, they are very easy to handle as they love to please their humans and listen to directions. They are not rambunctious or destructive. They are also good with cats, dogs and kids. The duo are crate trained, potty trained, leash trained and socialized. They would love to have a fully fenced yard to play with each other and get their exercise. As they are a bonded pair, they can only be adopted as a pair, not separately. Wilson and Tanner are about 7 months old, 35 - 40 lb, both neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. They are currently being fostered in Houston but can travel to any state, even Canada to the right home. To meet these amazing pups via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Their adoption fees include all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness and Transport Fee to several states in the United States. Yards, if any, MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank you for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.

Red is a soft-hearted, gentle Vizsla/Labrador with a calm spirit and the sweetest soul. He’s a shy boy at first, but once he trusts you, he blossoms into the most loving, loyal companion. Red has a naturally peaceful energy; he’s very chill, easy to be around, and happiest in a calm environment. He’s incredibly sweet, tender, and polite, with a softness that makes him instantly endearing. Red is great with other dogs, friendly with kids, and respectful around cats. He’s crate-trained, potty-trained, and has wonderful manners. He doesn’t demand attention, simply enjoying being close and feeling safe. Red is looking for a patient, loving home and will offer quiet loyalty, gentle love, and a calm presence.

Hi, I'm Coco!! I'm a high spirited wire-haired vizsla mix girl with lots to say and bounds of energy just like a pure bred vizsla! Running, hiking, water? Sign me up!! I love to talk and can sometimes get a bit loud in my excitement, so a home with a yard rather than an apartment would be best. I'm house and crate trained. Oh, and I love kids! I do best with slow introductions to new dogs.

Sahara here, yes, still! I have been in foster care for a REALLY long time and despite being incredible, I still haven't been chosen! I LOVE a great game of Frisbee and a lap nap after, I am house trained and enjoy long walks, swimming on a warm day, and even do well in the car. Speaking of cars, if you need safety at the ATM, take me along! I am muzzle-trained, if needed, and would love to explore a new neighborhood! I will alert you any time someone is near my home and scare off the bad guys with my big barking skills. I'm super smart, too, and know lots of commands- sit, leave it, wait, get down, and will even wake up from dreamland with my favorite blankies to give my person a hug if you ask me! While I am not friendly with other animals, people are my favorite! My foster mom loves me lots but she and I would both love to see me in a FURever home. If you'd be willing to give me lots of love, praise, and a chance to be your main squeeze, please apply to meet me soon!

Story
I am one tall glass of water – handsome and with a great smile. I have lots of energy, so I’d be a great walking partner or jogging buddy. I am friendly but not sure about those fuzzy bundles called cats. If you have a dog, let’s organize a meeting. I can be particular about my roomies. Mostly, I will be a loyal companion and by your side as much as possible.

Story
Meet Snoopy Snoopy’s story is one we will never forget. When we found him at the shelter, he was heartbreakingly thin — little more than skin and bones — and clearly had not been shown much kindness in his life. Yet even in the middle of his own fear and uncertainty, Snoopy stood protectively by his kennel mate, quietly trying to keep them both safe. That told us everything we needed to know about his heart. This striking black-and-white pointer mix is expected to be around 40–50 pounds once he regains weight and finally gets the care he deserves. He's about 2 years old. Despite everything he has endured, Snoopy remains incredibly sweet, gentle, and eager for love. He just wants someone to sit beside him, reassure him, and show him that the world can still be good. Snoopy has survived neglect. He has survived fear. Now he deserves the chance to truly live — with a family who will never let him feel unwanted again. Won’t you be the one to give Snoopy the happy ending he has waited so patiently for? Visit www.scoutshonor.org for more informationJuly 29, 2026, 9:45 am

If you would like more information about Brown Dog & his buddy, White Dog or are interested in adopting them, please contact this number, 281.932.8413 Hi there! Me and my buddy are two male coonhounds, I’m Brown Dog and he’s White Dog. We were dumped as puppies in 2020 but have been lovingly cared for by an elderly couple. Sadly, they can no longer care for us, so we’re looking for a new forever home— together, if possible. We’re friendly, smart, highly trainable and great with people and other dogs. We’ve lived outdoors with an electric fence and are used to being brought in at night. We do have strong hunting instincts, so a home without small animals is best. We are also great running dogs and will stay right by your side, either on or off leash. I’m Brown Dog (the smaller boss) and I take a daily glucosamine supplement after recovering from Rocky Mountain spotted fever as a pup. My brother, White Dog, is a bit more reserved but loves ear scratches. We’ve never met a stranger and can’t wait to meet you!
