We are helping find a loving, permanent home for an 8-year-old Weimaraner He is AKC registered, purebred, neutered, and does very well with children and other animals. He is affectionate, intelligent, and eager to bond with his people. This breed is known for being highly energetic and sensitive, and he would truly thrive with an experienced dog owner who understands the needs of active, working breeds. He needs consistent daily exercise, structure, one-on-one attention, and a calm, stable environment with space to move and engage both physically and mentally. Our goal is to find him a home where he can receive the time, activity, and guidance he deserves to live his happiest, healthiest life. THOR IS IN THE HOUSE! Thor is a 6 year old, neutered big Weimie Boy (93 lbs!) that is looking for his forever family! But don't let his size fool ya! He's a love! He could stand to loose a pound or 5 (hey! can't we all?!), but he is a "big boned" guy, so he would probably do best with older children. He knows his basic commands and is very eager to please! He's housebroken and crate trained and loves his people - but definitely has a prey drive, so no cats (or squirrels!). He is good with other dogs of all sizes. He's even found a crazy Doodle friend who appreciates his gentle play! He's been a "man about town" with his foster dad while learning to walk with his gentle leader. You can find him greeting folks during his daily walks on the Atlanta Beltline and sampling the veggies at the weekly Farmer's Market! He's even polite when he meets other dogs while on his leash, so if you're looking for a weim to take with you to the park and restaurants - this is your guy!
