Story
Meet Sammy! Max, Moe, and Sammy are 3 brothers born last April - they actually turn 9 months old today! Mom is a gorgeous Weimaraner and dad an incredibly sweet and handsome Standard Poodle. These boys are BIG and could likely get even bigger. But exactly how big is anyone’s guess because they have already outgrown both their mom and dad. They’re great with other dogs of all sizes and cats. As much as they love love love running around the yard and playing with their friends, the brothers’ absolute favorite place to be is right by their person’s side. These boys are looking for active families who are used to big dogs and don’t mind having a shadow following you all around. Interested? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org PLEASE NOTE: RMG requires an adult dog in the home in order to adopt any puppy under a year old ##2638553##

Story
Meet Java! Java and her siblings were surrendered to RMG so we can make sure they find the best homes and are spay/neutered. These guys were born on October 6, 2025 so they are just about 16 weeks old. Mom was a purebred Weimaraner and Dad a purebred Standard Poodle. And, yes, they are all pretty much carbon copies of each other - Java and Bean are female and the rest are male. All so very very sweet and loving; fairly chill for puppies their age; and very smart!  Interested in adopting? Email adrienne@rescuemega.org or fill out an adoption application on our website- www.rmgdogs.org PLEASE NOTE: RMG requires an adult dog in the home for all puppies under 1 year of age  ##2641865##

Story
THOR IS IN THE HOUSE! Thor is a 6 year old, neutered big Weimie Boy (93 lbs!) that is looking for his forever family! But don't let his size fool ya! He's a love! He could stand to loose a pound or 5 (hey! can't we all?!), but he is a "big boned" guy, so he would probably do best with older children. He knows his basic commands and is very eager to please! He's housebroken and crate trained and loves his people - but definitely has a prey drive, so no cats (or squirrels!). He is good with other dogs of all sizes. He's even found a crazy Doodle friend who appreciates his gentle play! He's been a "man about town" with his foster dad while learning to walk with his gentle leader. You can find him greeting folks during his daily walks on the Atlanta Beltline and sampling the veggies at the weekly Farmer's Market! He's even polite when he meets other dogs while on his leash, so if you're looking for a weim to take with you to the park and restaurants - this is your guy! If you are interested in adopting Thor, please complete and application at https://www.atlantalovesweims.org/the-adoption-process. If we already have an app on file for you, please email us at rescue@atlantalovesweims.org.

Story
Meet Toby! Toby is an approx. 8-year-old blue Weimaraner with a calm soul and a big, loving heart. He’s happiest stretched out on the floor, enjoying a good rest, soaking up snuggles, or taking his time sniffing and exploring the outdoors. He’s not in a rush—Toby appreciates life at an easy, laid-back pace. In his foster home, Toby gets along great with his foster sister Weim, shows no reaction to the outside cats, and is especially sweet and affectionate with the teenagers and his foster mom. He’s a loving, gentle presence and would thrive in a low-key home where he can enjoy companionship, cozy naps, and leisurely outdoor time. He is heartworm positive, and will be starting treatment soon. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate companion to share your space, Toby might just be your perfect match. (note: Toby is currently in a temporary foster home while we look for a foster/adoptive home that will love him through treatment. AWCR pays for all medical needs.)

Story
Percey is a 1.5 yr. young blue boy with a docked tail that came into rescue with his "baby momma", Lucy. As it turns out, Percy does best as an only dog. He loves attention from his humans and will cuddle all day with you! Because of Percy's size and exuberance (83 lbs), we think he would do best in a home with no small children (and no cats). Percy is crate trained and housebroken. Percy will need a forever family that is willing to give him tons of exercise and structure. Here's the update from Percy's foster mom and dad: Yes I’m Percy, in all my gorgeousness! (or at least that’s what SHE says!) At the moment, I’ve taken residence with the two old folks – it’s not going to take me long to train THEM, I think – but for right now, I’m lapping up all the attention I can get. All I have to do is look at them with my bright amber eyes and they melt! Never mind sidling up to them and looking adoringly into their eyes – ha! They melt like butter. SHE uses words like “cute, so dang cute, beautiful, adorable, lovely boy, good boy” on and on……. I’ve got HER trained! Having said that, she cooks! So I’m very careful to go to my bed in the corner and stay out the way when I’m told to – because I’m smart! Makes her love me even more! And these old folks walk. But I haven’t actually been taught to walk nicely on a lead, so SHE is showing me – easy peasy, just do as SHE asks and I get more love!! As I said, I’m smart!! I don’t particularly like it when they separate, I miss seeing them both together, and when one returns from an errand, it’s so very exciting to see them again, I can’t help myself from turning around in circles and presenting all my toys to them! Every time! HE takes me in the truck with him. I like rides. Yes, they’re old and I thought, being a teenager of 18 months, not quite grown up yet, I could run rings around them. One thing I didn’t anticipate though is that they garden. Spending a day in the garden with them is exhausting! Even half a day is exhausting! All the smells when they dig up things, is so interesting: I have tried to help them turn dirt over, not entirely successfully, but it’s fun! And…… putting my head in between her legs when SHE’s got HER tail in the air working in the dirt, gets me even more love! So I stuck to HER like glue to get lots of hugs, squeezes and praise as we planted roses. Take a look at the picture and video I’ve included of me in the garden. THEY can’t keep their hands off me! But, phew after all that work, an afternoon nap is a must – I’m a baby still! At the end of the day, we all get some tv time and we get to cuddle on the sofa. I’m not fussy about putting my head on either of THEIR laps, gets me lots of loving. Then it’s to bed, to get my beauty sleep before another day of gorgeousness! I do like children, but I’m a strong fella and worry about accidentally hurting little people, but I love teenagers. I actually like getting all the attention to myself, so will be very happy to be your only! Do I have manners, go into a crate, and am I adaptable. Yes! Am I curious and into everything, full of energy and have to do zoomies? Oh Yes! Will I be your very best friend? Never leave your side and love you forever? O Heck Yes! I’m a Weimaraner and I’m so freak’n CUTE!!

Story
We are helping find a loving, permanent home for an 8-year-old Weimaraner He is AKC registered, purebred, neutered, and does very well with children and other animals. He is affectionate, intelligent, and eager to bond with his people. This breed is known for being highly energetic and sensitive, and he would truly thrive with an experienced dog owner who understands the needs of active, working breeds. He needs consistent daily exercise, structure, one-on-one attention, and a calm, stable environment with space to move and engage both physically and mentally. Our goal is to find him a home where he can receive the time, activity, and guidance he deserves to live his happiest, healthiest life. If you or someone you know may be a great fit, please message me privately. Kind inquiries only — this post is made with his best interests at heart, and negative comments are not helpful.

Story
Pepper is a 7 year old cattle dog and I have had her for 5 years. She is very active and loves to walk/run on leash. She knows simple commands , loves riding in a car. She is not destructive when confined to a space by herself. She has never met a stranger and is very friendly to everyone. She is good with children and has lived with two cats and two other dogs for 5 years. She sleeps through the night on a dog bed or couch and is completely house trained. She has no health conditions and is vaccinated. Now that another smaller dog has entered the home she has gotten in numerous fights with her . She is typically aggressive toward other dogs and cannot be trusted with our smaller dog after numerous fights.

Story
Hi, I’m Pixie — Professional Snuggler, Part-Time Comedian I may be part German Shorthaired Pointer and part Blue Heeler (with a few mystery sprinkles mixed in), but don’t let that fool you—I’m more of a cuddle-on-the-couch than run-a-marathon kind of girl. At just two years old, I’ve already perfected my skills: loving kids, making friends with other dogs, giving cats their personal space, and keeping your house accident-free. I’ve got the smarts from my Pointer side and the loyalty from my Heeler roots, but what I really bring to the table is warmth. Think of me as your furry weighted blanket with a tail wag. So if you’ve been waiting for the perfect best friend—sweet, social, and snuggly—well… I’m right here. Now let’s go home and claim our spot on the couch. Apply for consideration to adopt at www.ruffdogrescue.org  Please note, we receive a large number of applications. We appreciate your patience as we complete our review processes. A personal interview, reference checks, meet and greet with pet, home visit and a solid vet history are required for adoption.  ##2507063##
