Story
Meet Westley – Your Loyal, Lovable Sidekick! Westley is a handsome Catahoula mix with a heart as big as his goofy personality. At 50-55 lbs, he’s the perfect-sized companion for someone seeking a devoted best friend. Westley thrives on human connection and is the definition of a Velcro dog—wherever you go, he’ll be right there beside you! He gets along well with other dogs and is even cat-friendly, making him a great addition to a home with existing pets. However, Westley is sensitive to light and sound, and sudden movements or unexpected approaches can startle him. Because of this, his ideal adopter must be experienced and highly aware of their surroundings, ensuring Westley is never put in a situation where he might react out of fear. For Westley, a calm, child-free home is essential—somewhere he won’t be overwhelmed by unpredictable noise or commotion. His deep, unwavering bond with his people makes him an incredibly loyal and loving companion, but he thrives with structure and consistency. He has had professional training and would benefit from continued guidance to reinforce his progress and maintain his confidence. Westley is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations—ready to find his forever home! If you’re looking for a fun-loving goofball who will stick by your side through thick and thin, Westley might just be your perfect match. ##854976##

Story
Pepper is a 7 year old cattle dog and I have had her for 5 years. She is very active and loves to walk/run on leash. She knows simple commands , loves riding in a car. She is not destructive when confined to a space by herself. She has never met a stranger and is very friendly to everyone. She is good with children and has lived with two cats and two other dogs for 5 years. She sleeps through the night on a dog bed or couch and is completely house trained. She has no health conditions and is vaccinated. Now that another smaller dog has entered the home she has gotten in numerous fights with her and has blinded a visiting smaller dog. She is typically aggressive toward other dogs and cannot be trusted with our smaller dog after numerous fights.

Story
Meet Cookie Blossom, a 20-pound, Catahoula Leopard Dog/Chihuahua mix, who’s about 2–3 years old and as sweet as her name suggests.   Cookie Blossom is a loving, playful, happy girl. She is friendly with new people she meets after just a little shyness at first.   Cookie enjoys: exploring the yard, going on leisurely walks, or curling up nearby while her people go about their day. She’s just as happy adventuring as she is chilling on the couch in quiet company.   This sweet girl is housebroken although she might have the occasional accident as she settles into a new routine. She walks nicely on leash and is not reactive to calm dogs passing by, but she will pull a bit and bark at passing dogs if they are carrying on. She is crate trained, she sleeps quietly in her crate and stays quietly in her crate when we are out.   She would do well in a home with another furry friend that is receptive to her playfulness and doesn't feel like they need their own separate space.  She would also be fine as an only dog with a family that will get her out for walks and play with her. Even though she's an adult dog there is still some puppy in her. Once she's played out or at the end of the day she's happy to chill alongside her foster mom.   Cookie Blossom is the perfect blend of playful energy and gentle sweetness, ready to bring joy and companionship to her forever family. She is waiting to blossom fully in a home that celebrates her happy heart - whether as a cherished only pet or a playful companion to another friendly dog.       An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Our family will be moving, and due to needing to downgrade our lifestyle and move in with other family members, we are unfortunately unable to take our wonderful 2-year-old dog with us. He is a male Catahoula Leopard, neutered, and up to date on all of his shots. He is great with kids, and we’ve made several attempts to rehome him, but have been unsuccessful. At this point, we are hoping to find a safe and caring environment for him.
