ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Pip is a good natured 40 lb hound. She's about 10 years old and still going strong. Pip has a gentle personality and gets along with people, dogs and even cats. Poor Pip had a rough life before coming to Homeward Trails. Because her prior humans did not care for her adequately, she was removed from their care and brought to a rural shelter. Pip is a resilient, happy girl, nonetheless. Notes from the foster: Pip is great with my kids, other dogs and cats. She's house trained and great in the crate. She's a little angel and is she really 11 years old? She's spry and loves her walks. Pumpkin Spice likes to chase small animals so we do not recommend her for a home with cats. She would do best with older children. Currently Living At: DC area home; needs a new one!Pumpkin Spice is Looking For: A place to call home for good. Don’t let her age fool you: Pumpkin Spice still gets around. She will enjoy daily walks along with some visits to the dog park or doggie daycare. She will delight in being able to run off-leash and to find new doggie friends to play with. Her adopter loved Pumpkin Spice very much but is no longer able to keep up with her so she is once again searching for a forever home. Obedience training will help build the bond between you and Pumpkin Spice. Dogs like to know what the rules are so it's important we communicate in ways they understand. Training with Pumpkin Spice will be great fun for both of you. What My Foster Says About Me: We will update as soon as she spends some time with a foster. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $375, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
